LOL. During one of my trips back home to visit friends, we all got together to bowl, much to my dislike but time with friends beats all that. During our time Ben and my friend Lisa got into a pretty competitive race with each other on who was going to win and well now it is their thing to joke with each other about. While Lisa was down visiting us earlier this year, a repeat game was very much on their to-do list. Maple Lanes is just a few miles down 19 from where we live so I planned a night for us all to go. Lisa is from a small town in Michigan so she was blown away when our ordered items came over to us from a "server robot". She still talks about how cool that was. It just makes me laugh at things like this because it really shows the differences of what I left behind in Michigan and what things just seem normal to me now in a larger city environment. We all had a great time together and Ben was all too pleased that he still holds that winning title between the two of them.

I find the shoes for renting are clean and the bowling balls for use are pretty well maintained. There are a lot of leagues that play here. If going for open bowling, I suggest to call ahead or attend an event they promote that is open bowling. Overall the bowling alley is very well maintained and they provide a really fun atmosphere. There is a restaurant on the property however when it is closed you can go to a local restaurant and bring food in. Again I would just check for the times that you are there to ensure the availability of food inside the building as well as bringing food from outside the building. There's also a bar inside that many people patron and you can get good drinks at a reasonable price there.

Eddie Turner started his little bar & grill in a narrow sliver of a building across from the Gulf of Mexico. He made everyone feel welcome with great food & service. There are currently tw other Eddie's on the West Coast of Florida. My husband & I shared a Cuban sandwich with onion rings. Friends ordered burgers. Portions were enormous, and our meals came out hot and overflowing. There was a lunch run from 1230 until 130 and then it became very quiet.

I went to Jim after a frustrating experiance at a rival proshop I went to prior- in which not attetion to detail was given to drilling my newly purchased ball. My experiance at prestige proshop was the complete opposite. Not only did Jim help me pick out the right ball for me, we spent about 30 minutes together making sure he drilled the ball just to the exact specifications I needed. Quite simply, he wouldnt let me leave until the job was done right! I rarely give five star reviews - but I also rarely meet people that care about customer satisfaction. I highly reccomend this shop over any other in the area.
