There are tons of bad reviews on here for this place. Some justified some not. Yes the place needs major TLC. The wood needs treatment and in some places replacing completely. The water features DO work but just need a clean up in and around the ponds. And there are alot steep stairs and narrow walkways so not ADA accessible. However... take away all of that and the whole thing we came to do is a superb experience. All the holes are Par 2 with 4 being a Par 3 but do provide challenges on each one. The greens themselves are well kept and clean. I think I only found 1 leaf on one of the holes. The cost of this experience is under $15 an adult. I firmly believe that if people over looked the aesthetical deficiencies and went for the golfing, this local owner business will improve the issues mentioned. read more

They need to fix the lighting. The LED overhead lights were strobing so bad they are going to cause an epileptic seizure

I'm sure when first built this place was great. Now it's in major need of maintenance and a facelift. Rotted wood, dirty waterways, bubble gum laced walls, open plumbing exposed, bridges with extreme paint chipping...you get the picture. The rest rooms were completely closed and I had to take my 9 year old to our hotel across the street to use the rest room. Ugh. Did the kids have fun, yes they did. Would we go back? Nah. Plenty shade for the hot Florida. My family of three really had a fun time. We were here in 2021 and it's still fun to spend a couple of rounds. The only catch is you could easily miss the turn when you're driving down Gulf drive. The sign is so small. But then again you have to drive 30mph. Restrooms are clean. read more

First time here on vacation in Clearwater from Philly and we needed something to do since the weather wasn't really nice today. It would rain on and off and there was no sun for us to go hang out on the beach or by the pool of our hotel. Looked up things to do and this mini golf place popped up and decided to go here to have some fun. I highly recommend coming here. It was nicely decorated in each fairway you go through. Nice little waterfalls here and there and then also a pirate ship in the middle that was cool. There was a good amount of fairways that you go through. I had a great time here. Unlike some locations of Gulf Blvd that want $30/person to play putt-putt, Bligh's allows you to enjoy 18 holes for a very reasonable price. We enjoyed a return trip recently to play the course. Great golf course, reasonably priced, pretty good location in the heart of most of the action. They have a parking lot which is pretty rare around this area. They offer all day parking for $20 if you want to stay in the lot or free parking for the time you are golfing. Oh and they have a parrot! Scarlet the parrot! She's pretty awesome and decently talkative. She'll probably say hi and bye to you if you address her. read more

Over priced for such a dilapidated course. The wood is rotting everywhere even the benches. Nails are popping up on the bridges that are not sturdy. One broken speaker is playing music. The one hole the ball gets stuck multiple times. The highlight for us is the massive hawks nest on top of the lights. The convenience is not worth it, drive somewhere else. read more

We had fun here. It was however a little bit grimy and gross. Felt VERY unattended to outside along the course. Also, I can't really blame the course for this as my kid is a pretty clumsy & and accident prone, but better lighting at night would be an improvement for sure. And maybe consider updating the paint jobs on the numerous sets of stairs. Kiddo missed a step and fell face first down 8 concrete stairs at the start of the course. We saw some other mini-golf courses on neighboring islands that looked like they were also owned by these people; maybe give one of them a shot before this one? read more

Great fun! Course is nice and the green is newly updated. Also previously it was in need for some maintenance but all have that has been taken care of now. Fun time and in a great location. So I took my mom out for brunch and to play some mini golf since we have never tried it before and man was it fun! This place has a cool mini golf course the golf ball goes through rocks, a pirate ship, a cave, a waterfall and more! I was trying hard to beat my mom but ended up getting my butt whooped at mini golf lol. I'm competitive and do not like losing but she kept making them all and I would either hit the darn ball too hard or it would veer off into a cave or go no where near the hole lol. This place was ok to do once. I don't think I would come back thou. I would recommend making sure you have an extra ball as one of ours completely disappeared. The staff wasn't unfriendly but not really friendly either. When I told them about the missing ball they shrugged their shoulders and said it happens. Then later I found out that they charged me twice and I don't live close by. Called them up and they told me they only saw one charge but they called the owner after I called them back to say that the second charge was still on there two days later. I believe I talked to Ryan who told me the owner was going to call me. Didn't get a phone call but I figured whoever it is is probably busy. read more

$23 for two people for a horribly maintained course is crazy to me. The second hole had to be the worst. The turf is peeling on almost all holes, the caves have little to no lighting, and some of the holes are impossible to get par no matter the skill level. For example, the last hole, there are three holes that the ball can go into. One of the holes is a tunnel that pours your ball out into a stream of water. That just makes no sense at all and defeats the purpose of the game. I understand that people probably don't go here to actually compete against one another, but it's just a poorly maintained course as a whole. It looks cool on the outside but again, not maintained at all. read more

Well, it was nice and something different to do. I had not gone mini golfing in forever. The nice thing was they did not care that our dog was with us. We have a little shih Tzu. He was not walking just in his carrier. don't know if they would care if it were a bigger dog. The holes were okay, no big deal, nothing fancy. It was just nice with the big ship and the water fall, but nothing so spectacular. Glad we did something different. I don't know what other prices elsewhere are for mini golf but ours was 9.95 a person, is that pricey. I guess to me initially it was. it ended up being fun, super humid then ending up pouring down on us so we were refreshed at the end. Do this if you are looking for something different to do that you have not done in forever, but not in July when it is super steamy out. read more

Loved the course and the classic feel of it. We spent a few hours here taking our time. Definitely worth the price!

It looked really cool from the road so we went. We had fun, but I probably wouldn't go again. It's a little run down. Lot of missed opportunity. The plaques throughout the park it would be cool if they had fun facts about Clearwater or pirates, but they're all empty. In the caves if they had like treasure or something that would be neat. As is it's a little messy and overgrown and needs some love and attention. read more

This course is in major need of upgrades, repairs and cleaning!! There is a cave that has a huge rock in it that is literally COVERED in chewed chewing gum. The course has drainage issues and is very slippery as well. read more

Decided to drop in after breakfast, the holes were fun and challenging with a beautiful surrounding. It was a fun mid day activity and probably one of the prettiest courses we've played on for mini golf. Took someone else's suggestion about taking an extra ball along, we were glad we did as we lost our ball in the water a couple of times. Lots of fun and reasonable prices. If you don't place a round of mini golf on vacation, are you even on vacation? This was a nice little stop on a short weekend trip with my fiance. Mini golf is always fun! This one was closest to our hotel so that's why we chose it. I honestly really loved this course. It was a pretty big course, for being mini golf, with longer distances between most holes than what I am used to. Each hole is very unique and a good change from the last. You are moving up and down height levels to change it up constantly as well! Cute scenes and nice water features as well. Seemed to be kept up ok and the staff was friendly! All in all it was a fun little stop that I would certainly play again if I am ever back in the area! read more

The good: it was $10. The bad: the place is pretty run down. The turf is very hard, the balls bounce a lot. Also, there are random divots that trap your ball and turn it far away. On top of that, the floor is extremely slippery between holes and my friend almost fell down a slippery staircase. The last hole had a part that dumped your ball into a river where it just left the region. The last hole was also flooded. How does that happen? It was funny how bad the corse was, but it's still better than the one on St. Pete Beach. I would recommend Smugglers Cove, where you pay some more for maintaining the course. Lastly the wait times were very long, but you can't really fix that. read more

After reading some really negative reviews, we took our chances and tried it out anyway and I'm glad we did. I expected a dump. And it wasn't at all! I mean, if you are expecting the masters of mini golf, it's not it. But if you just want a fun place to spend some family time and play a little putt putt, it's great. Lots of different levels and caves and waterfalls. The greens aren't perfectly cleared off and some are wet but I wasn't expecting Augusta. Had a great time as a family! read more
