I get a call from who I assume is a supervisor of housekeeping who tells me suddenly and to my surprise that I had to leave the hotel (I had two nights left already paid for) because they came into my room, inspected it, and found that the bedsheets were too dirty. "Couldn't be cleaned ", they said. Permanently stained. I had been staying there for a week and its true I had been eating in bed -and the sheets were in fact dirty.(although other than that, the condition of the room itself was just fine) So I asked, "can't I just pay for them?" And the response was "we charged your credit card for them already." so then I asked, "so, then what's the problem?" She responded " We are not going to allow this to continue and so you have to leave right now" I was just walking out the door to make an expensive dentist appointment(no insurance) so I asked, "Can I get my stuff out of the room after this dentist appointment so I'm not late?". And she says "No. It has to be right now." So I go to the front desk and wait for their team to escort me to the room so I can get my stuff and I'm hoping this won't take long because the longer it takes, the later I'm going to be. I wait and wait, and it's getting later and later. And so I keep on waiting for them -because *they* aren't ready. The incident made me late by about 25 minutes. And that's how and why I was told to leave two days earlier than my departure date from river lodge hotel casino because my bedsheets were too dirty. Not just that, but when I first arrived they asked me if I wanted privacy, or if I wanted housekeeping. I told them I would prefer privacy. And then, they came into my room -without telling me that they were going to be, and without me being in the room with them, for the purpose of inspecting it! literally to look around at things in detail! Not just that, but also by someone who then makes such a big deal about dirty bedsheets that I have to leave 2 days early --even though I paid for the sheets! It's just that it seems to me that, hypothetically, if i had a pair of scissors and cut them to ribbons it shouldn't matter if I also paid for them! I had been eating in bed and the sheets were in fact dirty. Although I almost asked if I could have them because I also knew it was just stuff that would wash out. If I'm paying for them i might as well have them. But I didn't because I didn't have room in my car which was all packed up with stuff. In terms of rating you can't blame me for never coming back But also the other stuff: There was approx 20 total TV channels; no Comedy Central; no history channel. They did have tru tv tho, news channels, a channel that played actions older action movies, and a channel that played sitcoms from the 70s and 80s like threes company and mamas family. The TV options was of a place that wants you to not watch TV and instead to come play at the casino. The rooms were clean I never saw any cockroaches or anything of that nature. I was on the 8th floor. No fridge at all . Air conditioner worked fine. No microwave. No coffee maker. (I don't remember if there was an ironing board or not) No ice machine. You can have ice brought to you if you for at no charge -if you dont mind bothering someone and having them carry a bag of ice up to your room for you -and then not tipping them. or you can get a bag of ice for the cost of the tip. Otherwise you can buy a bag of ice from their gift shop and then carry it yourself. Only hotel I've ever been to with no ice machine (and no fridge to boot) About the lady who booted me to teach me a lesson about dirty bedsheets, the funny thing is that i tip really well - and i mean really really well. So much so that I don't want to say how much because it might make the story sound fake. Normally people do not tip that much and I think this lady had no idea of it and just took her bad day out on me (which likely pissed off many of the other employees if they found out why I left) The rest of the staff on the other hand were nice, professional, and it seemed to me like they were good hard working people. Yet still (and this could be just because of that one bad apple) they had no respect for my privacy, they forced an early departure on me just on a whim, and had a blank room (just a tv with few channels, air) which tho was clean and they were priced good (in comparison with hotel rates normally)I don't remember exactly but like $69 a night or something. read more

Facility always clean, several little Casino-ettes downstairs with snacks, they serve Patron, I hit a Royal, and the Big Horn restaurant downstairs is almost worth the drive from LAS. Great hotel, but not pet friendly. No resort fees, but there is a nightly deposit charge. We were here over the holiday weekend. We had a deluxe queen riverview room, non smoking. No traces of any smoke. There was a Mini fridge, microwave, & flat screen TV, no coffee maker though. The room itself was very clean and spacious. The beds were on the firm side. Shower ran both hot & cold. AC blasted cold. The ice machines on all of the floors were down, but all we had to do was call and a few small bags were brought right up. Lots of things to do in this place. They had a little sports bar with air hockey, pool tables, various other games. Down below was the bowling alley, another arcade - looks like those closed at 10pm. Two other places to game, drink & eat at that are 24/7. A Mexican and an Asian spot. Prices at both spots looked very reasonable. We didn't eat at either, but if we return, I'll do an update. The Laughlin river lodge was a great experience for me and my family, we stayed in a deluxe room with the river view. The staff were very accommodating for all of our needs and made our stay. The bowling alley was super fun and the milk shakes are amazing, a great place to take the kids when it's down time. They also have pool tables. 8/10 The general store has everything you need from liquor to soap and a great selection of souvenirs. They also have amazing coffee and good food 9.5/10 The big bull restaurant was amazing the food is great and very well priced this was the highlight of the hotel I want to shout out Patricia and calen I hope I spelled them right, they were some of the best people I've ever met while on vacation and I want to say thank you for the service you provided me and my family. 10/10 We will definitely stay here again and again. read more

The best part of the hotel is the 2nd floor bowling and small children area. The website gives false impression of "game room" because teens/kids are not allowed to play ping pong since table is in room with casino games and alcohol. Same goes for some of the ski-ball and other games at the 3rd level. The "pc gamers room" hasn't been open for some time so that knocks the rating down even more since website advertises it. The arcade consists of a few gaming units and that's it. Definitely disappointed because there is plenty of false information and photos of the room are as well. Our room is super outdated and reeks of dust. My son tipped the light shade and large amount of dust came down in a cloud. My son has asthma and allergies and can't imagine having him in the room for more than a night. read more

Horrible! Absolutely horrible. Old. Outdated. Their website says that they have restaurants that are no longer open. The room we stayed in was in fact, clean, which was a plus but very outdated. Plasma TV. No coffee pot. No refrigerator. No USB outlets for charging cellular devices. No working ice machines. You have to go to the front desk and ask for ice, and then they give you this little bag with about 1/4 lb of ice. Employee in the general store was either having an off day or is just flat rude. I know it's a casino, but the cigarette smoke is horrible. Very overwhelming. You can taste the cigarette smoke even in your room. Went to several other casinos and none of them were even half as bad. The Pioneer would have been better than this hole! read more

Management for Fourth of July was lack luster. The pool was empty for a busy holiday weekend and no intention of repair. Both restaurants were permanently closed and had to leave to go eat dinner or breakfast. Customers don't want to eat takeout all the time from the General Store or the other quick service counters. Rooms looked like they were stuck in the 80s and needed renovations badly. Some rooms smelled of smoke, disgusting. Would not recommend LRL needs to get their act together. read more

Clientele= semi sketch vibes/ nice older crowd I think every room should have a mini fridge and microwave so I was happy to see that when I walked in. They have plenty of games for casino play if that's what you like to do. They have a 24/7 restaurant. The casino is fine. The restaurants are very good, but the hotel is almost indescribable bad. It was so bad, we checked out immediately after seeing our room, forfeited our room fees, and booked another hotel in the area. Dated, and I mean dated furniture. Old 1980 cathode ray television, no coffee maker, no refrigerator, no ice bucket because there are no ice makers on the premises. No glasses, no cups, no anything! I'm a fan of the Laughlin River Lodge and I'll definitely stay here again. I think it's one of the better more "low key" hotels on the river & also the renovations I'm sure have helped as it was clean & showed new casino areas that weren't previously being noted. The pros: 1. Cheap (as is most of the River) but around $50 a night I'd say a steel. Please note that they do take out a deposit for each night so be prepared for that. The money went back in my account quick but still I could see that upsetting people who came without much cash. 2. Clean! Our rooms are cleaner then other hotels based off of pictures and reviews I read. The casino areas were also up-kept and nice. 3. Restaurants and shops were A+. A lot of variety & we were pleasantly surprised at how good their food was at different spots here. 4. We liked the "themed casinos" throughout. Mardi gras, arcade, bowling alley, and Asian downstairs casino we were impressed by the way they change it up and again, have a little something for everyone. The negatives: 1. I agree check in can be a nightmare especially during busy months. Their set up is so strange & they hardly have anyone behind the counters working. There was only 3-4 parties ahead of me for check in yet it took FOREVER. Seeing others post about likes 15 people deep looks terrifying. 2. You are at the beginning (or end of the River) depending which way you look at it. While this allowed for more privacy and less foot traffic you have to remember it takes longer then to get to other hotels further down etc. We found that more people in our party stayed in the big hotels near the middle so our travel times def took longer. I also noticed less cabs/Uber's coming to ours/waiting. Overall I would definitely stay here again as it's a bump above the rest given visiting others hotels and rooms. read more

Ok. First the positive. The hotel is old, but clean. The mattress was comfortable. Ok. Now the reason I'm here. The pillows were like laying your head on a boulder. There were three pillows, and all the same. Recommend you take your own. The shower, in the evening took some time to warm up, as did the old school TV. The rooms don't cool down; there's no ice machines however they will give you the equivalent of a ziplock bag of ice but ONLY one per room per day; no blow dryers because apparently (per the front desk staff) they were causing electrical issues so removing them all was the solution; the pool that they advertise as an amenity has been closed down for months; the bar food is barely a step-above microwaved leftovers and more importantly (some of the) bar staff feels it's more important to throw patrons stuff away than to bother to provide any level of customer service at all...I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone. Laughlin river lodge quadruple their prices during the infamous Laughlin river run motorcycle event. But... rooms and service is still the same: - old, used, smashes mattresses, like if they had been in use for 20 years carrying a 400 lbs person... - cheap plastic bathroom - old fixtures - no fridge - some elevators not working (up to 15 mins wait to reach the 24th floor)... etc... Unacceptable for over $175 a night on average! They advertise no resort fees but I was charged $152 for taxes and resort fees as the employee mentioned. I couldn't get a receipt either. They also claim to have a beach, which indeed is there but.. closed/inaccessible during the motorcycle rally! Crooks! Bar staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and fun. Cheap (or free) solid drinks. read more

On April 28th 2023 the fire alarm went off in our room,with the loud buzzer not the smoke alarm. All I could think of was getting out! Now we're on the 20th floor, we can't take the elevator. So down the the 20 flights stairs we go, five of us, all senior citizens. No one else around. Finally we get to the front desk and no one knew a thing! Our hearts were racing our legs were sore! The manager Gail McCarthy was not very helpful either, didnt know a thing! You would think she would compensate us at least one night for our horrible experience! Booked one night here! Broke my ankle and tried to reschedule my night And when trying to speak to the manager they denied it! Front desk gave me the run around but no refunds. Didn't want one. From Harrah's to the Riverside, we have stayed at practically all of the Casino Hotels along the river. We've been coming to Laughlin since the late 80's and have seen the growth of this tiny town. The newly renovated LRL has now become a favorite for a Laughlin vacation. The rooms were excellently renovated making them fresh and brand new. The rooms that we stayed in, in the North tower were roomy, clean and good smelling rooms. They did not have an old, worn down feeling to them at all. They offer so much variety for a nice family trip. Because of yelpers, we were prepared for the bowling alley and came with our gear. We experienced the late night steak and eggs special for $3.99 and also enjoyed the breakfast buffet with prime rib and omelette station. All the prices from alcohol to food were very reasonable. We have found a new go to casino here in Laughlin and hope to explore even more of what the Laughlin River Lodge has to offer. read more

When I read that the staff here are friendly I was locked in staying here. It was true! Their staff was really friendly especially Michael from the rewards center. He was not only friendly but also very helpful and welcoming. This hotel has so much to offer; slot machines, restaurants, arcade games, pachinkos, pool tables, ping pong tables and outstanding service. Their rooms were decent and clean. I don't really care for outdated as long as it's clean. The riverwalk was very nice plus too. We were able to walk around and check out the other hotels. read more

Worst Customer service I've dealt with in a while, first went to dottys and spent $300 and couldn't get a drink, but went to burbon Street and the bartender was awesome and fast thats why i put 3 stars. But then went to the floor and was very rudely kicked off a machine so they could change the box. Never asked or said please literally kicked off.
