There is a huge variety of meats and cheeses available and a good selection of wine. It's more of a shop where customers can pick up items to take home, including something for dinner as fresh lasagna is made daily. There are approximately six tables outside and a couple of tables inside. The first night, we asked her to prepare a meat board and a cheese board as well as some olives. We ordered a bottle of Chianti Classico. Everything was presented beautifully and so delicious. We had five different types of meats: mortadella, prosciutto, veal, salumi, and roast beef. We also had a selection of five cheeses and I can't recall the names of all of them but they were all mouth watering. We had a selection of three types of olives. On our second night, we tried three different meats and cheeses, two types of olives, and their freshly made lasagna. Again, we were so happy with the food and the wine, a Valpolicello Ripasso Superior. Her service was excellent and the place was sparkling clean inside and out. We took two bottles of wine, a jar of artichoke hearts, and a jar of capers from her shop. What a delightful place. The two gentlemen behind the counter were friendly and informative and allowed us to try several items before we decided what to include on our meat and cheese boards. I was placed at the worst table, immediately in front of the entrance where every customer walks in, in the heat. My glass of wine was the smallest I have ever been poured in my life. It was offensive. My cuttlefish and squid dish was of very poor quality. Came out cold, and when re-heated was still very chewy and of poor quality. The room we were seated oozed Christmas without being tacky or over the top. The service was super friendly and they did the utmost to make us feel welcome. The food was very good, I had the tortellini in brodo (clear broth) and the beef cheek and my friend went with the crepes with truffles plus the duck leg confit - we both enjoyed the dishes although it was too much for us to finish it all. I wanted to order a dessert but when I saw the enormous portion the table next to us got, I decided to just eat some of the cookies which came with the coffee. But on our second stop, my husband made the mistake of ordering a pour-over coffee, which the nice man at the counter said they could do, but it'd be a bit longer. Boy howdy, was he not wrong. It took almost 10 minutes for his drink to come out, and the guy kept giving us updates to let us know we hadn't been forgotten. We were fine with waiting - it was a no-activity day for us - but I did feel like I was getting in other people's way just standing like a lump near the door. The owner and staff were all very friendly and welcoming and remembered us when we came back. They also grind their coffee for you to take home and I was able to get some espresso and french press blends for gifts. They have coffee tins as well which make great gifts. The croissants were the best we had in Italy too! Definitely recommend.
