It's fun but someone called me gay for just standing there. I hope they choke on glass and get ran over on the floor.

Great place for the kids to hang out! I wish more parents stayed and watched their kids and not just drop them off...

It had been forever since I had been in a roller skating rink. Memories came flooding back, both…read moregood and bad. All the while on the way here, I contemplated if I would partake in skating. I decided not to tempt the fates, especially since the last time I roller skated, I crack my one bone from my knee to my ankle...yeah, wasn't going down that route again. Like most skating rinks in this area the building looks a bit unassuming. In fact it looks like either an industrial building or an oversized garage. I think it's a bit confusing at this area as well since they have self-storage units for rent as well. Inside, instantly taken back to the 90s. You have to be buzzed into the place, but only after you either purchase an entrance, or are there for a party. A little extra safety precaution that doesn't allow for anyone in that shouldn't be there. The rink is your typical setup, right in the middle of the floor with a walkway around it for the most part. There is a party room, an arcade, a concession stand, and the place where you get your skates/trade in arcade tickets to get your prize. The party room is not all that great. When you book a party you are given a section of the room and you will share it with at least one other group, and it can be up to four other groups sharing the room with you. A missed opportunity here is the blocked connection to the arcade. As for the food, I did not try it. It looked like premade everything, thrown together pizza. Speaking of the arcade, it was where I spent most of my time with my nephew and niece. Typical arcade games that you can earn tickets through. Skeeball, basketball, skill games, etc. Those seem to be provided my Slinky Action Zone, at least that is what the slip says when you trade them in. Overall, great experience, but odd hours.

Love this place, my kids go there often and have a great time every time there are, friendly and…read morehelpful staff!

Disclaimer: this review is from the perspective of a parent of a youth hockey player…read more This is a nice arena with a great snack bar where you can get made to order hot food and fresh coffee. There is only one sheet of ice but the arena in general is so well maintained and situated in a nice park area that it is hard to give them anything but 5 stars. The lobby area is large with large windows to watch from the warmth of the lobby. There is a very nice snack bar where they make fresh pizza and other grill items like hamburgers and eggs. The coffee isn't the best tasting, but it is fresh and hot - and costs just $1. There are a couple TVs hanging from the walls and a small arcade. I didn't see a pro-shop but they do sell a few items like tape in a vending machine. The lone negative in the lobby is the restrooms. They're dingy and usually dirty when I've been there. The ice rink is very bright. All the lights work and the score board functions properly. They also have a board that displays shots on goal, a nice feature that not all rinks have. A nice thing they do, which no other rink does for amateur hockey and least at the A level, is cut the ice between 2nd and 3rd period. That is an awesome thing. There is a lot of room for the spectators, and the steps are not steep. Very comfortable. This rink doesn't want people to watch along the glass at the corners, and they have put visual obstructions on the glass to discourage people from standing there. They probably have a good reason, but as a parent I often like to stand where I have the best vantage point to see him play and hopefully get action pictures. They have a large parking lot too. With the nice amenities for parents, this is a good venue for tournament games, or any activity that requires you to spend time here waiting, This is a rink that I always look forward to coming to.
