There's a small waiting room near the front desk, or you may drop and go. If you'd like to enter with your child, there's an additional $5 fee. My 5 year old birthday boy asked his friends some questions (what are you building?)--he did more facilitation than the instructor did. Kids lost interest halfway through and the instructor did nothing to pull them in. Eventually she asked my son a few questions about what he built but didn't interact with the other kids. It's unclear why this cost $100. All they provided was a zoom link and a photo of a LEGO vehicle. I could have done that for free.

Windwood…read more.. AMAZING!! My son had so much fun last year. Everyone there already knows each other and have been there for a couple of years. Their activities are great, and afternoons better! Kids ages 12+ can stay at the swim/tennis club afterwards, until parents pick them up (with parental permission of course). They have a huge pool, that is a bit peculiar because its a bit like a bowl. Awesome waterslide, truly curves and curves. And the counselors are amazing. In particular, there was this one lady. College age and one of the nicest people I have ever known. Would totally recommend Windwood. They'll always find a friend.

The other side is the library, which loans toys to children to take home. It's a wonderful idea, as children don't always play with all their toys, this is a great way to recycle those toys and put them to good use. The toys are often better quality and educational value than the ones in stores. I especially love the handmade toys, they are wonderful. If you are looking for a place to donate toys, this is a great choice. Those toys will get used by hundreds of children. Same with the donation of money, they stretch their resources a long way.

I love that they offer lots of hands on activities for kids ages preschoolers to 3rd grade in one class. This offers a great experience for younger children to learn from the "big kids." They even have a "waiting room" for the parents. I think my daughter was able to focus more with me watching from afar rather than in the same room. It was a bit hard to find the lab, its inside of a building on floor two. However upon walking in we were promptly greated by smiling faces. The lab looks much like the ones in high school, but more colorful and fun. This was our first trip here, and it was far from crowded. I can tell my daughter had lots of fun because I could hear her laughing all the way down the hall. We will definitely be back!

Both stories of the facility offer beautiful accommodations and offer a lot of space for whatever your event may be. It has a kitchen, picnic style tables (downstairs), restrooms and a fairly large parking lot. The space is accessible and easy to get to and find. It doesn't have air conditioning, so keep that in mind for the summer months (but it is heated). Overall, a wonderful place to host a larger event.

North Park has multiple facilities that can be rented, and Rose Barn is one of them…read more The Rose Barn building is two stories tall and can accommodate a maximum of 150 attendees. It contains a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, sink, and electrical outlets; women's and men's bathrooms; and several tables with chairs. Outside is a parking lot and some picnic tables. Across the street is part of the lake. Beware that geese put many droppings on the grass. The building is not air-conditioned, but it has heating and many windows that can be opened. The rental fee is higher for non-residents than for residents and costs roughly a few hundred dollars per day. My church rented Rose Barn for a picnic. I saw that the building had a broken bathroom lock and some missing wall tiles. However, the building was in mostly good condition, and it was affordable and suited our needs.
