Also the Staff is so sweet and nice , my youngest son has bad social anxiety and my sons cabin leader /Dean gave me her personal cell phone number so I can text and check up on how my son is doing during the week he is there for his 1st time! I thought that was very helpful and cool of her to do! Don't let the word Christian in the title of this place push you away ! All denominations are accepted ! Location: On top of a mountain with an incredible overlook of Uniontown and 15 minutes from all the festivities of Ohiopyle. Activities: Offering a high ropes course, low ropes course, indoor rock climbing in the adventure center, outdoor rock climbing at various locations nearby, a cathedral in the woods, hiking trails to Jumonville Glen, a historical museum, king swing, ga ga ball, 9 square, 4 square, the iconic hike to the cross, partnering with outfitters from Ohiopyle for biking and white water rafting experience, tennis courts, basketball courts, and volleyball courts, frisbee golf, fire pits throughout campus and inside pavilions, chapel, arts and crafts building, and a swimming pool. Lodging: Either roughing it in the cabins or taking shelter in the air conditioned Washington Lodge. Food: Its summer camp, suck it up. This is an incredible way to spend a week of your summer. I love that they offer lots of hands on activities for kids ages preschoolers to 3rd grade in one class. This offers a great experience for younger children to learn from the "big kids." They even have a "waiting room" for the parents. I think my daughter was able to focus more with me watching from afar rather than in the same room. It was a bit hard to find the lab, its inside of a building on floor two. However upon walking in we were promptly greated by smiling faces. The lab looks much like the ones in high school, but more colorful and fun. This was our first trip here, and it was far from crowded. I can tell my daughter had lots of fun because I could hear her laughing all the way down the hall. We will definitely be back!
