Windwood…read more.. AMAZING!! My son had so much fun last year. Everyone there already knows each other and have been there for a couple of years. Their activities are great, and afternoons better! Kids ages 12+ can stay at the swim/tennis club afterwards, until parents pick them up (with parental permission of course). They have a huge pool, that is a bit peculiar because its a bit like a bowl. Awesome waterslide, truly curves and curves. And the counselors are amazing. In particular, there was this one lady. College age and one of the nicest people I have ever known. Would totally recommend Windwood. They'll always find a friend.

I would NOT send you children here. My daughter has attended other week long camps this summer and…read moredid great. However this camp was the complete opposite. On Tuesday she got sick with an ear infection, she told her counselor several times Tuesday and also Wednesday and all she did was get an attitude with her and do nothing but ignore the fact that she was sick . My daughter has chronic ear problems to the point of were she needs hearing aides. Finally on Thursday after her complaining for a third day to her counselor she reluctantly said ok to taking her to the nurse. On Thursday she had seen the nurse and I was in contact with her trying to get her medicine order for an inner ear infection that she suffered with for days before being seen for it. I asked several times and for hours to speak with her and they kept telling me I couldn't. Not realizing that my daughter was also asking for 3days to speak with me. Finally after 3 days and several hours I got a call from her. A male and female called and put us on speaker phone so they could hear everything I was talking about with my daughter even after asking for them to take us of speaker and they pretended they did. I knew something was wrong with the way she was stuttering which is a nervous thing she does. She also started crying and only kept saying she was fine and did nothing want picked up. I came to find out that before calling me my daughter was directed on what to say to me. What she was allowed to talk about and what she was not allowed to talk to me about. The whole phone call she was being told what she was able to say to me. She wanted to come home for she did not feel well but I wasn't allowed to know that. Who has the right to make my daughter feel the way she did and to be scared to not only talk to me but to ask them for help. I would never send her here again and or will never recommend this camp to others. It is a disgrace that my child was treated and felt the way that she did while attending camp and not being able to confine on me enough to go and pick her up. The should be ashamed of themselves.

The camp facility is amazing and is located on a beautiful, expansive piece of land. The program is very well run, from the orientation, to the open house, to the bus schedules, to the regular updates etc. The counselors have been so kind to my child, and reached out regularly to update us on how things are going at camp, and reached out again to check in after my kid was sick. My child has improved a lot in terms of swimming. We will be coming back in the years to come.

Solid! This is truly an amazing sports complex. I really enjoyed dropping my oldest son off for…read moresoccer practice and took my "little guy" upstairs for some food and "root beer." They have one variety of "root beer," but, have other beer, including but not limited to, many of the parental favorites. :) This place is pretty awesome. They also have a lot of deals with pitchers, pizza, and various combos that I could have taken advantage of "but for" the fact that my +1 was a six year old. So, bring an adult friend, or, join a group here. I was happy to see multiple parents having a good time together. Oh, the menu is perfect, and, pretty inexpensive. It mainly consists of fried food, but, it's quick.
