But my biggest complaint is their owner will just continue to charge your bank account and REFUSES to help Members in a severe time of financial need. The only offer of help they will allow is to fill out a freeze form and then I can pay them $150 to terminate the membership. Even their very kind corporate team said the owner controls the policies and they've reached out to the owner twice now. The worst part is, even in filling out The form to have my account frozen for 3 months...they STILL CHARGED MY ACCOUNT ANYWAYS!!! I've filled out the freeze form twice, contacted their corp team twice, and now I have $20 to my name after selling my car to catch up on my mortgage so I don't lose my house. I'm a veteran and have a 1yr old daughter. I've never been treated so horribly by a company. I hope the greedy heartless owner sleeps well at night knowing they run a horrible business And are taking advantage of a single mom who is struggling and has nothing to her name. Do yourself a favor and ditch the corporate bs gyms and go with a local owned local operated business that cares about its customers.

Bathrooms and dressing rooms have been closed for about a month now but they are quick to point out that they have provided Porta-potties outside the gym, around the side of the building. My wife will no longer go to PF because of the bathroom situation!!! Several areas of the gym and the equipment in those areas are now roped off and members are not able to access the equipment. The environment is very loud and dirty due to the construction. This morning another area and the equipment in the area has been restricted so I couldn't complete my workout. Many of the Black Card services are no longer available...but we're still being charged the higher rate. As a consumer, the value of my Planet Fitness membership has very rapidly decreased to almost nothing!!! Staff members are obviously frustrated and unable to provide any concrete information on when the renovation will be complete...they can only tell you that it is "supposed" to be done in August but based on the little progress being made I suspect it will be much later than August. I'm not sure who at the corporate level came up with the idea to do a renovation during core business hours but in my view, it is a complete failure and a terrible disservice to the members. The only bright side is that the chaos at PF drove me to go take a tour at a different gym this morning and based on what I saw, a change of gyms may well be in my immediate future. I absolutely would NOT recommend the Bridgeport, WV Planet Fitness to anyone at this time.
