Great local spot on the waterfront. First, they take credit cards, so use it to pay if you come here. You get a better exchange rate on the prices. The menu is pretty straight forward and is on a sign....One side is for entrees, the other side is for desserts. The menu consists of a little of Mexican, seafood and sandwiches. The grill is in the restaurant. If you are not a lover of being close to food while on the grill, I would strongly recommend getting a table near the walkway. If you are there at night, you may be treated to a free show from the resort across the water. Last night we heard a Beatles cover band and it was pretty good. Food is pretty good. I got the Surf and Turf, The Queen got the grilled lobster and The Doctor got the tacos. The lobster is based on size when you order (in grams as this is a metrics country). The price is based on the size. The waiter had a complete list of the different weights and the prices. The Surf and Turf came with a lovely piece of filet mignon, cooked to perfection. It was very juicy and tender, covered in a lovely sauce. Not sure what it was, perhaps balsamic but it was a little sweeter that usual, if so. The meal came with rice, grilled veggies and pineapple, and plantains I am personally not a fan of grilled pineapple or plantains, so I gave them to my friend. Total cost for my meal was about $30....for steak and lobster. This is considered expensive in Puerto Aventuras, but man I can totally deal with this. My friend got the BBQ ribs. I am guessing they were good because his plate was cleaned. That came with veggies and a baked potato. We didn't do dessert because we were stuffed, but I did see a coconut chocolate brownie. Just as a FYI, if you are allergic to cats, I would take something first before coming here. There are cats that roam around and are quite at home. And do check in through Yelp to get a free glass of wine.

A quiet bar/restaurant in Puerto Adventurous. It's in the residential section, so a lot of the locals come here. It actually has good restaurant type fair. Such as hamburgers chicken, tacos, you name it and they have it. Nothing fancy it's just barfood in the simple restaurant. You can watch the dolphins play, and you can watch the Miami dolphins play football in there numerous TVs that they have. The staff is very kind and accommodating and they'll make whatever you want or if you bring in fish kill fried up.

Surf and turf. Fresh local lobster by the gram.

The steak is the BEST thing on the menu. Huge filet! Cooked to perfection. $18 us. Would be $50 in Kansas City... So good.

Great fresh fish. Live music but sometimes a bit loud if you have littles. Outdoor seating and open air

What a lovely spot on Cozumel. Offering indoor and outdoor seating, La Cocay is a casual but…read moreelevated experience with excellent service. We arrived late afternoon and we were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. A nice solid menu of Italian/Mediterranean treats plus monthly specials posted on the exterior board. Full bar service, and plenty of Spanish wines offered. Prices are very reasonable and repeat that the service is excellent. In business approaching 30 years, this was our first visit and found it through a shout out on Yelp! The business is an American owned venture but very much offerings and atmosphere of a casual Mexican dinner. Some really interesting photographs throughout the restaurant that offer some insights into the island's history, the owners friends, and even her cats! We started with some wonderful empanadas and an octopus dish that was probably one of the best cooked I've had in memory. Great seafood options and daily fish specials. Like most of Central Cozumel, street parking can be a little tricky but not a showstopper. You may be interested in looking for a yard that offers car parking to get off the streets. We definitely will be back and highly recommend you check out this restaurant when in the area

Another year, another fantastic evening at La Cocay. Two of us shared two appetizers (grilled…read moreoctopus & goat cheese empanadas with mango chutney), entree if bacon-wrapped chicken stuffed with goat cheese. Along with a complimentary parmesan flatbread, it was more than enough food. Three drinks. All for $80. Service as usual is outstanding as was the decor. If you're a "foodie", this is a must-stop venue.

The trend I've noticed at almost every one of the resort restaurants here is that the appetizers…read moreare, by far, way more delicious than the main courses. This held true at El Mediterraneo as well. The best bite of the entire trip, my husband and I both agree, was the lamb shawarma. I should have ordered 100 of those and just eaten them all as my main course. I also IMMENSELY enjoyed the beef carpaccio. The chicken cordon bleu was straight up WEIRD. It had orange cheddar cheese instead of swiss, and was covered in a weird diced tomato concoction. It's definitely not a classic cordon bleu. The shrimp and saffron pasta was pretty boring and reminded me a bit of hospital food. If you stick to a feast of appetizers you will probably be in for a treat!

Not as big as the one at Spice but it had a decent selection. They have an omelet area where you can select your items to put in it. They have a small selection of fresh fruit, meats and cheeses. Most of the food was traditional Mexican items. So if you're looking for bacon and eggs, you'll have to ask for it. The restaurant overlooks a small pool area. It almost looks like a Vegas pool/hotel just without all the craziness. It's definitely the calmer side of the resort. Overall this was a nice little restaurant with good food. I would go again if staying at the resort.
