The warm, inviting decor, relaxing Middle Eastern/Turkish music and delicious food come together to make this one of the best meals in downtown Tulum! We ordered the vegan mezze and chicken shish kabob to share and everything tasted wonderful. The beets, hummus and tabbouleh salad were my favorite parts of the mezze. The eggplant and olives were also a nice touch. And the chicken was so moist and juicy! They have large fans blowing around so no mosquitoes as well. Enjoy!

I had been eyeing this place before I even arrived at tulum! I'm middle eastern myself and have been to different cities in turkey so I was excited to try this place which happened to be across my Airbnb. On our last night, we came here for dinner around 8:45 pm and ordered within a few minutes. Food We ordered shish kabob & Greek salad. The shish kabob was cold & that's not what we consider shish kabob in Turkey or even in Los Angeles. Service 3/5 our food took our 40 minutes even though only 3 tables were filled. That's a very long time for one main dish. There was one lady helping everyone and doing everything. She often disappeared and it was hard to find her. When we told her the food was cold, she said I wish you had told me 10 minutes ago because now you're done with the food even though I had been trying to call her over for a long time. Price 4/5 Prices are high here. The shish kabob dish was about $450 pesos which is about $26 USD and the same price you'd be paying in the states. Ambiance 4/5 They were playing middle eastern music but the place is extremely dark. It's probably best for some tea & dessert or small appetizers. Overall 3/5 Very disappointed and would not come back.

This is my favorite (non-Mexican) restaurant in Tulum town! I love Turkish food, and it's sometimes hard to find a place that prepares good Turkish food that isn't a food truck or fast food; this place nailed it! It's an excellent place to go with friends and order their mezze platter! This time it was only my partner and me, and we ordered a mezze 8 + shrimp sish, the perfect amount of food (maybe a little too much); everything was super fresh and delicious. The service is excellent, helpful, and super accommodating. The place at night has a lovely vibe; the lighting makes it super romantic. I cant wait to return! Highly recommended.

While in Tulum, be sure to enjoy a meal at Pasha! The atmosphere is romantic and quaint. The decor is well done. The service is 10/10. They are kind, attentive and engaging. It is clearly a family run business and they are overjoyed to host you! And they will call you family all of dinner!! The hospitality here and in Tulum is heart warming. And the food is INCREDIBLE. Large portions, unique and tasty flavors. The eggplant humus was to die for and the lamb kabob was fall-off-the-bone delicious. Would definitely come back.

The most incredible atmosphere in a restaurant. Very unique place. Ambience and decor were impeccable. The food lived up as well and was amazing! The shrimp kabob and 8 Mesa platter were definitely the highlight. I would probably pass on the durum next time. Homemade kombucha and pineapple lemonade were great and we loved the presentation.

My family of 13 came during opening time and it was heaven from there. Everything about this restaurant was exceptional: the service, the wonderful family, the food, the ambiance and even Maca, their cute dog. We ordered almost every vegetarian option and everyone was SO GOOD. We started to order extra things throughout the meal! The one meat item we got was the chicken shish kebab and we wish we had more! The food was so authentic and you can tell they care about what ingredients they use. Everyone was so fresh and there was not one thing we didn't like. We're all still dreaming about it! We loved how the restaurant is a local family owned business and everyone is involved. Special shout out to their young son for being so professional and translating some Spanish for us - you have a bright future ahead of you!! Hands down one of the best meals we've had here Tulum and we're already planning our visit back!!

We decided to come to Pasha for our last dinner in Tulum and we are so glad we did. Like most places in Tulum, Pasha is cozy and has indoor and outdoor seating options. With either one you'll still have the intimate feel. It's fresher to sit in the open air portion of the restaurant to catch a breeze. Now on to the main event...the food was AMAZING! We started with the 8 traditional meze. Huge enough to share with more than just two people. We almost became full just from this. For our main course we got the lamb kebab and grilled shrimp platters. Each came with a salad and couscous. I've never had a lamb so tender!! Even the couscous just melts in your mouth. The flavors we so so good. Hands down our best meal in Tulum and we had some pretty great meals during our stay. Will definitely be back when we return.

I love this spot the vegan mezze is amazing, and with a little communicating you can customize it to be gluten free too! Plus the mint tea is everything! My favorite spot to eat in Tulum.

12/17/21 Beautiful interior: you're transported to the Middle East

If you're craving middle eastern food such as Greek, Cypriot, Lebanese, etc., in a romantic setting then come to Pasha. The moment you walk through the front entrance, you are transported to the Middle East: Bedouin style with gravel under feet in lieu of sand. You dine under a canopy of beautiful cascading drapes and hanging lights which sets a very romantic ambiance. The food is very good, I recommend ordering the kibbe (fried meat croquette) appetizer $150 and ask for some hot sauces. They come in adorable vintage-like glass bottles as does the olive oil. The green cilantro hot sauce is Delicious. I hope you're lucky enough to get Gaston as your server. He wasn't even our server but ended up assisting us more than our own server. He was so lovely and often checked in on us which we really appreciated. Gaston went above and beyond, even making us the mint lemonade frappe $55 that is only served during the daytime. He was an absolute delight!

    Beautiful expanded space

Amazing service, atmosphere, and food. Would recommend the keftiko kebab - some of the most tender lamb I've had.

I've never left a bad review in my life but I feel like it's imperative to make sure the same thing…read moredoesn't happen to future tourists! We came to Beso with high hopes.... absolutely beautiful ambiance and the menu looked divine. My husband and parents and I went on a Tuesday night so it was very slow... we were one of two parties in the whole joint. The food was good! Not our favorite but definitely authentic and good. We all ordered drinks, an appetizer and main courses and dessert. When we first sat, they brought table bread that we didn't request but ate because, duh, so when it was gone they replenished it with a second basket as most restaurants do. We didn't even think that this could be anything but complimentary. After eating, we moved outside to the lounge area and the server brought over 4 unsolicited shots of brandy with cinnamon. I'm pregnant so thanked them for their generosity but sent it back. We figured since it was so slow the staff was bored and wanted to have some fun and send some drinks/get a bigger tip. My husband and I went home before my parents so weren't able to look over the bill. The next day we were told the tab was over $500 USD! I thought that sounded insane, it was good but not $500 USD good. They showed us the receipt and they charged for EVERYTHING that we didn't even ask for! The complimentary table bread, INCLUDING the refill, charged. The complimentary brandy shots that we never asked for or alluded to wanting, including the fourth that was sent back!!!!, charged!! It needs to be reiterated we never asked for any of these things and nowhere on the menu does it say anything about bread the cost of it. We went and looked at the menu the next morning because the entree prices looked more expensive on the receipt and sure enough, they had inflated the food prices as well. We would've really enjoyed this place but feel so taken advantage of. Yes: my parents could've said something but they don't know a lick of Spanish so how would they have argued a bill? They took advantage of a group of tourists they know they could pull one over on and it worked. I would've given 4 stars probably but this is unacceptable behavior in any restaurant in any part of the world.

This place has so much potential but if they don't address their food quality they won't be open…read morefor long. I'll break down the reason for my review. 1. Ambience: 4 Stars. It's not on the beach but it is gorgeous inside. The live music was great. The place settings were perfect. However we came on thanksgiving and it was completely empty. It's such a big space that it felt weird to be the only ones there especially with so many staff hanging around. This brings me to my next rating... 2. Staff: 5 Stars. If I could rate a restaurant on our waiter alone it would have 5 stars. I think his name was Daniel and he was perfect. He spoke great English and was very attentive. He also tried to steer us with honest advice about what to order. I only wish we'd listened to him. Great man! 3. Food: 1.5/5 Ugh. I'll start at the beginning. We order the mussels first. They were cooked well but lacked flavor and had barely any broth. They needed salt, bread and basically a makeover. Very underwhelming. 2.5/5. Next we had the belly taco which Daniel warned us not to get. TAKE THIS OFF THE MENU. We thought it would be pork belly, but it was rock hard fried pork intestines that tasted like burned moon rock. My bf spit it out. Gross! 0 Stars. Last we had fried avocado. It was good and the only thing resembling real food... but it's also a fried avocado so if you mess that up you honestly are just an idiot. 3 Stars. Total that comes to 3.5 stars, but since this was our special thanksgiving dinner and we ended up having to go to another restaurant just to have an edible dinner, I rounded down. Hope you guys can figure your stuff out as this place could be amazing.
