Immediately upon entering and checking out the menu, I knew this was not the typical taco joint. I loved seeing the internationally-inspired flavors on the menu. I mean... gochujang queso, harissa ketchup, tikka wings... LOVE to see it!! We ordered the Loaded Nachos, cauliflower tikka taco, and chile rubbed snapper taco. The tacos were architectural works of art. They were generously sized, with a giant mound of fillings. However, the menu item I absolutely need to rave about was the Loaded Nachos. This was some serious business... a ton of chips piled up on a tray, absolutely smothered with shredded chicken (the protein we selected), the aforementioned gochujang queso, shredded pepper jack, pico de gallo, chimichurri ranch, and fresh jalapeno peppers. The queso was... chef's kiss; it was deliciously cheesy with a salty-sweet twist. The nachos are an absolute must get. 10/10 recommend this place!

What really sets Talitas apart is the amazing Honduran flair they bring to their Mexican dishes. Having spent nine years in Tucson and the last two years in East Texas--both places known for outstanding Mexican food--I can honestly say Talitas ranks right up there with the best. The salsa is delicious and comes with two additional house sauces. The green sauce is mild with incredible flavor, while the red sauce definitely brings the heat. If I'm saying it's spicy, you can count on it having a real kick! The fajitas were absolutely fantastic--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and generously portioned. If you're looking for authentic flavors, great service, and a spotless restaurant in Pigeon Forge, Talitas is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

We had the mixed fajitas with corn tortillas. It came with shrimp, beef, pork, and chicken. Refried beans and rice and a delicious mixed tomato topping completed the plate. Two of us split one serving. The owner is also the order taker and a jewel. He explains each dish you ask about. Prices are very moderate given today's horrible economy. I recommend the place for an authentic experience and good food.

Drinks delivered quickly and orders taken. In the meantime, let's enjoy warm chips with refried beans and salsa. All were flavorful and nicely done. Orders taken included carne asada, fajitas, and cheese covered burrito. The food came out very quickly and was surprising considering a packed house. Asada and fajita beef both reported to be perfectly done but lacking seasoning. Cheese covering burrito was fantastic and refried beans a bit runny but full of flavor. Wait staff was very timely all the while working their tail off. Certainly a professional here. Prices are fair. Portions were good. Nothing negative to report. Overall, listen to Yelp! and check this place out.

Refried beans were vegan, as is, no lard in them Corn tortillas were good to go. Not a lot of options, but nice that there were some! Our server was really helpful - even though we were a pain with all our questions, LOL We were brought out chips with salsa and a bean dip which had cheese in it, so that didn't work, but once we got that figured out, it was smooth sailing. The inside is nicely decorated and makes it very homey.
