Recently visited this place and was disappointed with overall experience, wait times was excessively long, the staff was unprofessional, despite having an appointment, we still waited over 30 minutes, then we were told they're behind schedule and we have reschedule, that is very rude and explains that these people has no time management skills, with that I decided to leave I can't trust people like this place who can't even manage time, being unprofessional and who can't even clean or organize the office, horrible experience, they don't care about ur time, I don't recommend this place.

We used The Tax Return to do our 2017 taxes last year and they LOST all of our paperwork for…read moreseveral months. Then they finally found it again and filed our taxes but instead of sending us a copy of our FULL tax return for our records, all we got back from them was the first two pages of our 1040 and only ONE page of the two-page Schedule C. They don't even know how to scan documents correctly. The scan each page as a separate file instead of combining them into one PDF, which is NOT how a professional tax preparer would return electronic copies of your paperwork to you! Obviously, after they lost all of our stuff last year, we are NOT using them to file our taxes this year. But we need last year's complete Schedule C to file our 2018 taxes and have requested that they provide us with that. But now they aren't even responding to our emails. I strongly advise you to stay far, far away from The Tax Return unless you don't care if they lose your stuff and then don't even give you a full copy of your return when they're finished.

I had dropped off my taxes & had called several times to see if they were completed. I was told…read moresomeone was working on them. After waiting 9 days, I called again. Not only were they not done, but they couldn't find our paperwork. The person I handed our paperwork to was questioning if I had the right location. I had her card, so there was no question about which site I used. When I went to pick up our papers, this same person said she thought they could be done by someone in that office. So instead of calling me to tell me they weren't qualified to do (2) different States & Federal taxes, our files just sat on a desk. If I hadn't followed up, they would still be sitting there. I would suggest avoiding the H&R Block on 7775 Sudley Road in Manassas. To post this I had to hit at least one star, but I would give them zero. I

I kept checking in asking about the status but received vague responses and no further communication about any problems. I ended up visiting the office after several weeks of this and was told that my return still had not been submitted due to the technical issue that I assumed had been cleared up. I took it on good faith as I've used H&R Block for over a decade that it would be fixed and I patiently waited several more days before reaching out again and getting another vague response. I finally asked point blank if the problem was resolved and literally have had no response. I will never use this company again for my taxes, there is no communication, no customer service and I can honestly say I have never experienced anything like this where a representative holds onto your taxes for a month and will not respond to direct questions. Would give 0 stars if I could.
