I absolutely recommend this lactation support. She is such a sweet and warm person to talk to. She is absolutely a wonderful human. As a new mom, I was overwhelmed with feeding and latch issues. Nicole was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout the process. she carefully observed a full feeding session, corrected positioning and latch in real time, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. What stood out the most was the emotional support. I never felt judged or rushed. Every question--no matter how small--was answered with care and confidence. I found Nicolette when I needed her most. My newborn was having the hardest time latching and it was starting to take a toll on me and my baby. I reached out and she called me right away to fully understand what was going on! After that initial call, I knew I wanted to work with her. She was so kind, understanding and knowledgeable! We set up an appt a couple days later to come to my house and it was incredible! The moment she walked in I felt a weight being lifted. Her presence was calming and she knew exactly what to do! She worked with my newborn on body work, helping me breastfeed the correct way, and just overall support. She made me feel and remember that I wasn't alone. Since my appt with her I have had so much more confidence breastfeeding my baby. She gave such good exercises and practical things we could do to continue the process of helping my baby breastfeed well. She's also followed up with me since my appt and answered any questions. I can't recommended Nicolette enough. I'm so thankful to have found her. read more

My little one was 2 weeks old when I reached out to Nicolette. I wish I would have found her sooner. My LO had tension and my latch needed improvement. From the moment I reached out to Nico I felt so relieved. She responded in a timely manner, got me through the qualification process for insurance coverage, scheduled a virtual session (it was Friday afternoon and was needing support before the weekend) and provided impactful guidance and support. I am forever grateful to Nicolette for helping me through such a critical time during post-partum with hormones, little sleep and all the pressure I put on myself to ensure I could breastfeed my baby. read more

Nico is amazing! My husband and I took a class with her before our baby arrived. It was so helpful to have some knowledge of breastfeeding prior to having baby. Nico did a visit with us after baby. My baby had been on a breastfeeding strike for about 10 days--like full on crying and refusing the second she even saw the breast. I honestly thought we were done breastfeeding at that point and felt so discouraged. From the very first phone call, Nicolette was amazing. She didn't just wait until our session, she stayed in touch with me and gave me so many helpful tips right away. You can just feel how much she genuinely cares about helping moms. It's not just knowledge, it's passion, and it really shows. Then after just ONE session with her... my baby had a full feeding at the breast that same night. I was literally in shock. I was producing only about 4 oz every three hours despite doing everything "right" and was terrified it was too late to increase my supply for my twins. I felt exhausted, anxious, and completely discouraged. Connecting with Nico changed everything. She reassured me it wasn't too late, created a personalized plan, and within just one week my supply tripled. I've been able to maintain it without supplements or lactation foods. Nico is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cares about your success. She continues to check in, which meant so much to me. Where do I even begin? Nico is fantastic with a capital F! She's highly knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, encouraging, and passionate about helping mommies and babies. You can tell how much she loves her own kids and it really just feels like I'm talking to another good mom friend who happens to know so much! She had such helpful simple resource guides for every topic I've asked about - from my pump screen freezing to the best burp positions. She explains things super well and asks to hop on a video call to ensure I understand her demonstrations. Even though we don't live close by and she hasn't seen me breastfeed, she was able to intuit that my baby had a tight tongue and needed chin support, and has a sensitivity to cows milk causing gas and fussiness! She is constantly thinking about her clients and circling back with new ideas. She's clearly super passionate about what she does. Breastfeeding issues can feel so isolating - and Nico is the only consultant I've come across who makes me feel super hopeful and not alone. Do not hesitate to book her!!! read more

Highly recommend Nico and her lactation expertise! As a first time mom, I had so many questions and concerns related to breast feeding. Nico always listened and provided solutions. My son was born with oral restrictions (tongue tie, lip tie, and bilateral cheek ties) which affected his latch and caused pain during breastfeeding. Nico recommended an appropriate nipple shield, silverettes to help sooth between feeds, and referral recommendations for pediatric dentists for tongue tie evaluations/treatment. We underwent a tongue, lip, and cheek tie release, which drastically improved both the latch and discomfort. Following the tie release procedure and after discontinuing the nipple shield, Nico provided tips for a deep latch while breastfeeding. She also provided support for pumping, infant gassiness, and infant food intolerances to dairy. Nico is very skilled and made my breastfeeding journey successful! Very thankful to have her as my lactation consultant and highly recommend her! read more

You'd think by Baby #3 you'd have the whole breastfeeding process down but by month 8 my milk supply was decreasing significantly. After consulting with Nicolette, my supply increased within the same week. She recommended different techniques and supplements to help support the quality and amount I was expressing. Her kind words of encouragement surely helped uplift the postpartum worries. She offers in-person and virtual/telephonic support. 10/10 recommend! Nico has been incredibly helpful with both of my babies. My first baby was premature and spent time in the NICU before coming home so my breast feeding journey with off to a challenging start. Nico was extremely helpful & encouraging in giving me clear instruction with increasing my milk supply with a "lazy" eater who preferred the bottle. I consulted with Nico multiple times with baby #1! Baby #2 came along with different challenges and I contacted Nico again. Immediately she knew that my son was rejecting the bottle we gave him at night and help guide me with my night feeds so that my husband could still help, etc. Nico is a NICU nurse and a lactation guru! She is so sweet and makes you feel comfortable right away. She clearly loves what she does and it shows. read more

10/10 Nurse Nico is really a life saver! I was struggling with breastfeeding my first baby as she got used to the bottle at NICU. Before getting to know Nurse Nico, I took a breastfeeding class where they introduced several different tools every week, but no progress made, that it made me think it's going to be impossible for me to succeed in breastfeeding my baby girl. I was so desperate when I met Nico, she was so kind, supportive and made it real simple for me. I just had one session in her clean beautiful home and the confidence & tips she gave me really did it. She's a very caring person who listened to the emotional state I was in. I definitely wouldn't have made it if not for her! read more

I reached out to Nicolette out of sheer panic as a new mom totally unsure on how to breast feed a newborn and terrified that I wasn't doing anything right as it was painful and I was having latching issues with my newborn. She very quickly reached out (even though she was on vacation at the time with her family) and called me to initially give me some tips and tricks and help me assess the situation over the phone. Just after the phone call alone, I was able to implement some of the knowledge she shared and immediately see an improvement on our feeding sessions. However, I opted to have a home visit as it would truly help see what was going on and how to make the feedings easier and less stressful. Nicolette was so kind and knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my and my husbands questions regarding everything breast feeding and even beyond! She gave us advice beyond lactation and truly cares about her craft! Nico is seriously a life saver. I met her as a nurse in the NICU and she knew I really wanted to work on breastfeeding even though I had to mostly pump while being in the NICU. She made it a point to check in frequently and set me up for success. Once we left the NICU I was having a hard time adjusting to strictly breastfeeding due to having pumped so much, and I ended up with mastitis. Before I even thought to message Nico, she contacted me and asked how I was doing with my breastfeeding journey. I was so relieved to hear from her and she ended up going out of her way to send me tons of resources, schedule phone calls to help me through the process and give me step by step instructions as to how to get rid of my mastitis along with assisting me with the gradual transitioning from pumping to breastfeeding. I am so grateful that she made my breastfeeding journey such a positive experience. read more
