They all told my daughter she is too young to have endometriosis. Which made her feel crazy. They ran the labs and her hormones and baselines looked " normal" leaving us back where we started- this has been a 4 year hellish saga- until Dr Harris! We have answers- we have a game plan- we have a competent and lovely dr- who is upbeat and knowledgeable and remembers her, she is phenomenal and this is only our second visit. She has given us support and hope and validation- and my daughter no longer thinks she is just being dramatic despite debilitating symptoms. The staff are amazing! The office manager, Tajrah, wow, there is nothing this woman can't do, and in a timely manner. If you want to actually know what is going on with you or your daughter's body- if you want thoroughness, if you want to feel like you are not going to be dismissed and discarded- go see this amazing Dr! During my pregnancy, all the midwives made sure I was informed and prepared throughout the pregnancy and for the delivery. They give you all the information to make informed decisions regarding your body and your baby. Once labor started I was scared and difficult to handle but everyone was so encouraging/comforting. They supported me and encouraged me how I needed in those moments. During my birthing experience I had an unforeseen and unavoidable medical complication. Julie (the midwife who helped me deliver) handled the situation so well. I felt secure knowing she was by my side and advocating for me. I was so grateful she was with us though this experience. She really helped make our messy birthing experience as perfect as humanly possible. We aren't planning on having more children but if we do, I would choose BCM again. Thank you

I was recommended to FPA Women's Health because I was told they also provide STI/STD testing for…read moremen and that I would receive great care. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. To start, the front desk staff were friendly and informative when explaining my insurance coverage. I was told that the Family PACT program would cover my STI/STD testing. I explained that I needed blood work, a urine test, and a swab. I completed the blood and urine testing, but things took a turn when the nurse, Elsa, came in to speak with me. I was already going through a very difficult and vulnerable situation. I had learned that my partner tested positive for an STI, which raised serious concerns about infidelity and my own health. I came to the clinic looking for medical care, guidance, and reassurance. Instead, I felt uncomfortable and unsupported during an already stressful moment. Elsa told me that my insurance would not cover the swab and that treatment would also come with a cost if I tested positive. When I brought up doxycycline, I was told that prescribing it was not their policy. She then left the room, returned, and suddenly said she could treat me and prescribe doxycycline after all. I was left confused about what was covered, what the clinic's policies actually were, and why I had to go through this back-and-forth just to understand my options. What bothered me most was how uncomfortable the interaction felt. As a gay man seeking sexual health services, I expected to be treated with the same compassion, respect, and professionalism as any other patient. Instead, I left feeling judged and unwelcome. I cannot speak to what Elsa intended, but the interaction left me feeling that way, and it was the last thing I needed while dealing with such a personal situation. At the end of the visit, she returned with a bag of condoms and handed them to me in a way that felt dismissive rather than welcoming. By that point, I was so upset that I just wanted to leave. Unfortunately, the experience continued after I left. I had left work early for the appointment and forgot to request a doctor's note. I called the clinic hoping they could email me a confidential note, as I had been able to obtain from Planned Parenthood in the past. I was left on hold for approximately 12 minutes, and by the time I was still waiting, the clinic had closed at 5 p.m. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I understand that insurance coverage and treatment policies can have limitations, but those things should be communicated clearly, consistently, and compassionately. Patients should not have to feel uncomfortable or unsupported when seeking confidential sexual health care, especially when they are already dealing with a stressful personal situation. I appreciate the kindness of the front desk staff, but my overall experience was so upsetting that I will not be returning. I hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously and works toward making every patient, including gay men seeking STI/STD services, feel respected, safe, and genuinely cared for

No long waits I was called in the back within 5 min the Doctor came in about 15 min later. Everyone seems so nice so far. The equipment was up date. This is the type of doctor office I'm use too! Two things I don't like so far is 1. I was told by the Doctors nurse I can not refuse to have a student come in. I have never ever heard that before as I have in the past and recently refused. I've normally been asked if it's ok if a student comes in but here you have no say so! & they don't even have the decency to ask if it's ok! I really don't like that and it may make me change offices again because I'm really not comfortable with that. I understand what a student is and does but I still don't want it. 2. I left a message 2 days ago to have the nurse or Doctor call me to clarify something important about my baby I'm still waiting on that call! It really worried me & I could not sleep. So I took matters into my own hands and found out the information about my baby was not the case as I paid for a 3D ultrasound. I'm seeing a Obgyn for my pregnancy seeing Doctor Azawi she seems friendly so far. Hope it continues to go well.

I was told by the clinic manager over the phone that Dr. Natalie Rivera is refusing to perform my surgery because she thinks my behavior at the hospital was inappropriate, so apparently getting upset about receiving inappropriate and inadequate care is inappropriate to her. I think that failing to provide a 30 minute surgery in a timely manner, failing to show empathy and respect, and then not only failing to follow up with me but also refusing to perform my surgery AT ALL is what's inappropriate. That and Fernando Reyes's lack of empathy and adequate assistance. This is American healthcare in Riverside for you. I wasn't even referred to a different surgery provider or given a conversation. Since she wants to deny me healthcare, she should say it to my face. This has been an awful experience and I deserve better. These people's lack of consideration for my health, wellbeing, safety, and time is horrendous. They also apparently lack morals, accountability, and remorse. I should have gotten an apology and a rescheduled surgery on June 29th, the day when Dr. Natalie Rivera, Dr. Samar Nahas, and Dr. Correa failed to provide me with my surgery. Instead, I am still trying to find a new clinic and surgeon.
