Scotty was a great tour guide! Very animated, funny, and knowledgeable. He kept the kids entertained as well as the adults. The mine itself was full of history and we ooh'd and aah'd fun facts. We recommend making this stop if you're in Creede and driving the Bachelor Loop. When your tour guide tells you to grab a hoodie or coat, DO IT!!!!

    Bobby great tour guide

My family enjoyed it. They liked the tour and the views. The mine is cold so dress appropriately. Bobby was a great guide and knew a lot. Jack in the shop was also a great person to pick his brain. I enjoyed the people as much as I enjoyed the tour. Good spot

I've been to a lot of mines. They're fun. This one is by far the best! Unfortunately, I feel that it will ruin me for every other mine. Bring your kids! You can go in and touch things. You will see veins of amethyst and turquoise. They are still finding stuff in this mind today and it goes on and on and on and they are still discovering new tunnels from the old days. My tour guide was Bobby and he was stellar. But all of them there are very friendly, very knowledgeable and go out of their way to make sure you're having a good time.

Will definitely be coming back! So glad we were allowed to dig! Love the history as well! Lucas was super kind and very knowledgeable!

    Scotty, our fabulous tour guide

Our family of 3 had a great time visiting the Last Chance Mine. We took the 1891 tour and Scotty enchanted us with stories about the mine, geology lessons and a flute song. The views are also spectacular. Recommend a caustic if you are in the area.

A wonderful step into history, what's even more remarkable are the steps the owner and staff have taken to preserve, rebuild and improve the mine. A must see if you can make it up the mountain. We took the tour which was very reasonably priced, especially for the length and sights of the tour.

    Scotty!!

Great place, awesome people. Took a friend in a wheelchair who hadn't been out in over a year due to covid. It was great and wheelchair friendly. Truth be told, we surprised our friend with that wheelchair and we didn't really know how to push it and we still did alright. We took the guided cave tours, Scotty was very friendly, knowledgeable, and very entertaining. The caves and property are very well maintained and very least expected. The gift shop was gorgeous and full of beautiful homemade jewelry. It was a great stop along the bachelor loop. Highly recommend!

Our guide! Super fun and nice!
