I kept walking past this souvenir shop, and kept seeing this t-shirt in the window I wanted…read more Because the town has been closing shop at 6pm (because of covid) I said I better go now, or I'm not going to be able to get it. So I ran in, went to the t-shirt section, and luckily they had one left in my size. While the cashier was ringing my purchase up, I took a look around, and thought I have to come back here before we leave to go home tomorrow. They had so many interesting cute souvenir items, and the prices seemed reasonable for a resort town. I was in and out within 5 minutes. But in that five minutes I could see that anything you could possible want that says Durango, or Colorado, or both is in this store. By the time we got back from our excursion the store was closed, and I was disappointed, because we had to leave early in the morning. I didn't have a chance to get anything except my t-shirt. :( I will have to plan a trip for next fall when the leaves are changing. Such a beautiful time to visit Durango. When I decided to enlarge a lap quilt to a bed quilt, the ladies were helpful. We found coordinating fabrics that would work well. When I got home and cut the pieces for the quilt and ran short of one fabric, a quick phone call to the shop and my additional fabric was on the way. They have an exceptionally large selection of fabrics considering the physical size of the store. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable . They know more then how to cut fabric, they know how to assist with fabrics that will blend well into your chosen project.My family knows that when we are driving through Durango, the quilt shop is a must stop for me.
