My sister and I were starving from a long morning of grocery shopping. She said she wanted a cheesesteak. We checked the map and LaSpada's popped up. I had no idea they had more than 1 location (Lee rd in Orlando) We popped in and were greeted by the cashier. We ordered a large mushroom with curly fries and chips lol we split it because it was huge. Very tasty cravings satisfied!!! There were a few families and single people eating inside. They looked like "regulars" to me. LaSpada's is a hit !

Can't believe I've never reviewed LaSpada's! We've been coming here for years and honestly I have never had a bad sandwich! My go to is the cheesesteak or the original (Italian) and both are solid good options loaded with meat! The service is always quick and polite. There are a few tables inside to eat but nothing fancy. The ice tea is also always fresh and delightful!

The food was great. The customer service was all right. There was a dining area where you could sit. They have a variety of chips that you can choose from. They also have a drink machine or a soda cooler if you would like a children drink not a fountain drink.

My husband is originally from the Philly area and this is his favorite place in town. We drive from Winter Park to Sanford about once a month just so that he can get a cheesesteak from this greasy hole-in-the-wall. We recently brought a friend here and he got the pastrami and loved it too. The curly fries are super tasty too, and I always forget that they have them. The desserts look good, but I haven't tried them yet. It's not the fanciest place, but the food is good and it's clean enough that I will eat there with him. They also have Herr's chips and some fancy sodas that I appreciate too.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile because the reviews are great but I was honestly not impressed with the food. For one, I ordered cheese fries and they were delivered without the cheese. And the cheesesteak sandwich is so dry, I can hardly even get it down. Sorry but first and last time trying this place.

This afternoon was my first time at this establishment. I wanted to get some lunch. The meal I ordered was a Steak Cheesesteak with lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, and onions. It was delicious. It was very flavorful and packed with meat and cheese. The service was very swift and everyone that worked there was very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. They have televisions on with sports. Overall it was a wonderful experience with spectacular food and I will be returning. That's all.

    La spada's famous 12" $15.95

My coworkers and I visit La spada's at least once a month for lunch. I've tried most of their cheesesteaks, several of their hoagies, and salads. My favorite of all of them is the Laspada's Famous hoagie. The 12" is $15.95, which to me is a bit expensive; however, it's loaded with freshly sliced meat, cheese, and other ingredients to the point that you can't close the sandwich up to eat it. You almost have to eat it open-faced. Most of the time I'll only eat half and then save the other half for dinner. This location is very small, if you're coming for lunch you definitely have to be there right when they open at 11:00 a.m. because this place gets packed. The few tables they do have fill up quick. Sometimes we dine in, but when it's busy, it's hard to enjoy your meal with all the noise and everyone else standing around looking at you while they are waiting for their order. What works best for us is ordering our meals 15-30 minutes before they open, pick our order up, then go back to our shop to eat versus dining in. If you do order at the counter then dine-in know that your order could take 15-20 minutes to prepare. I took Nancy and my mom to Laspada's last week, it was their first time here. I ordered a laspada's famous and mom and Nancy both ordered the 10" mushroom cheese steak ($11.99), which all came out excellent The only thing Nancy wasn't too fond about was the bread, she says the bread was a bit chewy and didn't expect that. I don't know if it's a Philly thing, but the staff aren't super friendly, good luck getting someone to crack a smile. Yet they do get you what you need and overall do a great job making some delicious food. The store is not super clean, but it's not a fine dining restaurant either. All-n-all, I highly recommend stopping in to give them a try. If you don't, you are definitely missing out.

Did you use to have a sub shop in Coral Springs fl?

Yes. Located on Sample Road (West of University Drive). It's still there and operational, but I'm not sure if the LaSpada Family are the current owners or if they franchised it.

I began to apologize for being so late and making them do more work and that's when the owner (Jack) walked in and mentioned how it was not a problem and reassured me that if they had to serve me at 8pm then they would. They made the atmosphere so delightful and it allowed for the food to be that much better. Not only were the Philly's PHENOMENAL!!!!! But the service was absolutely incredible 10/10! We already can't wait to come back and bring our friends to try them out and meet them. Side note: IT IS SUUUUUUUPER CLEAN! It does not look like your typical sub spot where it's more run down and dinghy. They keep it cleaner than most of our homes to be honest lol I truly felt taken care of not just with the food but with the quality of service! 10/10 Philly Bros!

I'd eat a sautéed shoe if it came on that bread. Pretty much all the stars are assigned to that and the year round availability of a Thanksgiving style sandwich. The not so pluses: if you like carbs, this will not be a negative but it's really carb heavy and relatively light on the turkey and the cranberry which was unfortunate. The ratio is a bit off, in my opinion. More turkey and a smidge more of the cranberry (because you need the acid to counter the carbs really) and we'd have a real winner. Why 5 stars then? It is a good sandwich. I may not get it again because I've checked the box but it was nice and the bread was SOOOO good I can mostly forgive the heavy carb loading.

Stopped by after a drive down from Casadega and we were starving. After taking a look at the other selections of places to dine while there, I went with the Woody ($17) with a Sprite ($3). The sandwich was delicious with a thick bread which was nicely toasted, filled with pastrami meat. The cold serving of Thousand Island dressing and Southern slaw mixed in with the thinly sliced red onion was a good combination in the sandwich. The selection of sandwiches offered was smaller than what used to be in the old location but that's to be expected, I guess. It's a different time, stuff is more expensive. The service was great and friendly.

Our overall rating is 3*'s. The folks who work here are very pleasant. The dining room is well decorated. There's no mistaking what the cuisine will be. We ordered a pernil Papa Locas ($14) and both street ($13/5) and birria ($14/3) tacos. We wanted to get a churrasco Mofongo ($35) thinking we'd have plenty of leftovers, but we realized we were simply running out of money. We love Puerto Rican food. We often stop at Lelo's in Orange City when we're in Volusia county and get Mfongo's and the rotisserie chicken and the pork and their daily specials. Our expectation was high tonight because of all the buzz. We really wanted it to be good. And what we ate was good. The employees and the ambience were both great. We enjoyed everything. But why so expensive? We make a good living and we both appreciate fine things - we willingly pay extra for high quality when we feel it is justified. But what we paid tonight didn't bear any correlation to our dinner. These sky-high prices reminded us of Disney. Everything at WDW is inflated: whether the captive audience syndrome because Disney knows their customers have no alternatives; or they just price everything ridiculously high because it's Disney. Unfortunately for this restaurant, it's not Disney. And there are dozens and dozens of alternatives surrounding their building and within a short 10-15 min drive. We wish the owners well. They certainly know how to prepare tasty Puerto Rican food. However, we both agreed we won't be going back because we frankly just don't see the value. Way too expensive.

Super welcoming, friendly, and attentive the whole time without ever feeling overbearing. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad and the steak and eggs, and of course we had to order mimosas (two each... because brunch ). Everything came out fresh and tasty. One small personal preference, and this might just be me, but I would have liked the Caesar salad lettuce to be chopped a bit smaller instead of the larger pieces. Not a deal breaker at all, just something I noticed. The steak was cooked well. I wouldn't say it was the best steak I've ever had, but it was definitely good. What really stole the show for me was the chimichurri sauce. I could honestly eat that by itself with the potatoes, it was that good. We sat on the patio and were a little worried it might be too hot, but it was nicely shaded and they have fans going, so it was actually very comfortable.
