Lash's has been a premier place for seafood. We went with friends Tuesday night and were extremely disappointed with the food. We had problems with 4 out of 4 dishes. Everyone can have an off day and this was definitely their day. We will try a different day. read more

Dinner was a nice experience. Excellent view of marina and lake. Fried shrimp and crab cakes were delicious. Decent prices for quality of food. Service was friendly and fast. Karaoke sounded fun in adjacent room, but not too loud for main dinning room. Breakfast was underwhelming (mediocre pancakes and cold sausage, decent bacon and eggs). Service was kind but overwhelmed. read more

Food was excellent!! Service was brilliant!! Our server Addi was incredible. Highly recommend this if you're looking for good seafood!!

Great seafood. Tends toward fried dishes. Their seafood sampler is great. Grilled talipia is delicious too. Only issue we've had is bones in catfish filets. Fried onion rings are delicious too. read more

Food was wonderful and staff was very friendly. It is located in a beautiful atmosphere

Stopped on a Saturday night after a few days of fishing on Wheeler Lake. We both ordered the low country boil - 1 lb of shrimp, a large andouille sausage, 6 red potatoes and 4 corn on the cob. Some of the best shrimp I've ever had and the sausage was excellent as well. The corn on the cob was a bit mushy, and the potatoes were less firm than I would have preferred. But overall, it was an excellent dinner Service was fantastic - several young ladies took good care of us and the food was served promptly. I'll definitely be back the next time I come to Wheeler Lake! read more

Me and my wife ate there just the other day enjoyed the gator tail she had catfish she enjoyed it. Service was spot on.

Don't let the outside keep you from coming in. The owner was cleaning tables and welcoming/talking to all the customers. We felt like a local. 5 adults in are party and everyone loved there food. Everyone inside might have been all locals. Which was great to see this is a must try. Oh and there is only one location and it is not on the water. read more

Absolutely worth a visit. Out of a 6 of us we ordered a good chunk of the menu- clam strips, catfish, a burger, gator bites, frog legs, and tilapia. Everyone raved about their dinner. They didn't have the all you can eat frog legs but they were a star of the meal (along with the gator bites). Not only was the food delicious, the service was attentive but not over bearing, but the view was very pretty. Definitely suggest giving them a try. read more

Good food good service. My wife and i went here on the first night of our honeymoon from a recommendation from a friend. Very quiet place and romantic view looking over the marina. We will definitely be coming back when we are back in town . read more

Frog leg Thursday all you can eat and they are delicious. The service is always great and the restaurant is always super clean. It's not fancy place but the food is great with big portions and lots of options on the menu. My favorite restaurant in the Shoals area is Lash's. read more

When you walk in, watch out for the 15' gator to the left. Came on all you can eat frog legs night (Thursday's). The waitress brought us a couple to sample prior to ordering and they were delicious. Ordered chicken tenders, butterfly shrimp, hush puppies, onion rings and frog legs. Breading was light and everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back and am now a frog leg connoisseur. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. Worth the drive read more

Enjoyed their blackened fish and key lime pie! Their shrimp is hard to beat as well!

This place was pretty busy on a Thursday night after Labor Day, so it is a very popular spot. It is a very lakeside dive sort of place, which is great if that is what you are looking for. It looks like you can visit via boat, 4-wheeler, or truck, take your pick! Fair warning, they are not social distancing and staff are not wearing masks. They also don't do take out after 6 PM according to the sign outside. It looks like they are busy enough as it is. In terms of drinks, they don't have beer or mixed drinks. They were out of all other drinks but sweet tea, diet mountain dew, and water. I'm not sure if that's typical, but it didn't matter because we weren't there for the sodas. They were out of gator tail, so we both ordered grilled shrimp plates, with fries, onion rings, hush puppies, and slaw. The food was pretty good, and the staff was friendly. read more

All the way from Indiana and this was fantastic seafood!!! Don't let the outside fool you, it's some of the best hospitality and food I've had down here! read more

Food is great, I love the gumbo and fried shrimp. Being a transplant from Florida there seafood is great.

This food never disappoints! The catfish is amazing. The steamed shrimp and fried oysters taste better than a lot of what I've gotten at the beach. This has quickly become my favorite place to eat! read more

Newly renovated and they always have great food and service! Highly recommend getting the fries with whatever you eat.

Very friendly fast service and great food!! Fish was wonderful. And so much to choose from.

This is a hidden gem in North Alabama. It's where the locals eat, and yet, they serve gulf seafood. Fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, crab, oysters and catfish too. Everyone at the table was satisfied and delighted. Just because you have great seafood ingredients, doesn't mean you have good food. You have to know how to prepare it and Lash's seriously does it up right. Without a doubt it was some of the best catfish I've ever had. The batter, fried, was absolutely perfect. Not too thick, not too thin. It came with tartar sauce, one side of onion rings (equally fantastic) a side of slaw and 3 hush puppies. A great value and plenty of food to split a plate. The only downside to this restaurant is that there are no reservations. Hey, it's casual, which is great. But you'll have to be prepared to wait in the parking lot outside if the wait is long. There are some nice views along the river and there is a neat little bridge to walk on nearby to pass the time. read more

I have been coming to this area for years and always drive by Lash's. Never again! This little jewel is tucked away, back from the road by the water. The food is excellent and the staff is one of the friendliest I have ever seen at a restaurant. Do not pass this place up like I did for so long! read more

Love, love this place! Great food in a hidden cove on the water. Like an old time fish camp we used to go to when I was a young girl. Great food, reasonable prices, good service, clean, on the water. What more could you ask for? read more

Not a great or attractive location but food was very good and so was the service. Definitely recommend and will return

Tried to call in take out Saturday evening.....no one answered the phone....so i drove 30 minutes out there to get take out. Guess what....they don't do take out! And the place was packed with a line outside. These guys have sun burn on their necks. How stupid is this! The owners and the clientel! Have any of these dumb ass donkeys heard of Corona19? I mean wow! The owners and the clientel! I mean I swore I would never eat at this place again....but thought I would give it one more chance. And to encounter this rediculousness....is beyond me! As someone else wrote in their review of this place.....don't walk away....Run away. These guys are all about how to give you the least amount of food possible and take the most money from you possible! Greed without interest in providing good food and service. These guy are idiots. Run away from this place and please don't go there and catch the virus! And any of these positive reviews are probably fake and written by the owners or workers. This place is terrible ! Run away ! Also.... You can get really good catfish at Champy's in Sheffield for a much cheaper price and unlike Lash's they give you plenty of food.... you will never be hungry after eating here. Totally unlike Lash's where they will give you the smallest amount of food that they can get away with. Eventually they will have a spray where they can spray your order on the plate and you should be happy to just smell the scent! Also the best place for seafood is at Spruce Pine called the Homestead cafe! They have an all you can eat seafood buffet (suspended for corina19) but will be back after corina19. It's a huge well stocked buffet and blows anything Lash's can server you out of the park ! At a fraction of the price. Lash's is the worst. Don't go there. read more
