She checked in to see if she was hurting me when removing cuticle or dead skin. And she wasn't. I always want all the cuticle removed, and she did great. Made a maintenance recommendation of once a month in the winter, which I haven't heard from other salons. Always appreciated. I was with my gf and we were both offered beverages. They provided lots of help moving about, putting on flip flops, dry spraying. I felt so catered to. Highly recommend. No reason to go anywhere else. I just looked it up and this male nail tech that did me is in violation of some major sanitary regulations. (5) A clean towel or disposable paper cover shall be placed over the manicure cushion and footrest, and changed before each client. There was nothing under my hands (6) An emery board or disposable file shall be discarded after its use on a client. The file used on me was obviously used with marks and scratches all over it (7) Except as provided in Regulation .03B(33) of this chapter, all implements used by a nail technician student shall be cleansed in hot, soapy water and then immersed in a disinfecting solution as specified in Regulation .03B(12) of this chapter before reuse. Not only did he pull a tool from the barbacide after it hadn't been in there 10 min after his last client (pedi), I wasn't scared until he trimmed my cuticles and dropped the tool right in the barbacide without cleaning it. My nails came out alright but not the best. My family got other services and we spent $106 after tip. I won't be coming back though.
