She consulted with me regarding what type of look I wanted and she gave me an even better result that I had hoped for. I already have naturally long lashes (blonde though!) and my lashes hitting my glasses was a real problem. MK gave me a full set of lashes that don't brush my glasses and look really great. Of course, when you are having anything done to your eye area, you want the technician to be very gentle. MK's touch was SO light, I could barely feel that she was working on my lashes - I appreciated this very much! No drying station was offered. This location looks nicer and more modern than the other location. Supplies seem clean and they do use separate supplies for each customer. Asked me if I'd had my lashes done before, I responded, I have. I told her how I would like them. She said okay, then the only time she said a word was when I asked a question. I felt like she should say okay, putting this on now. But maybe you guys like more of a quiet atmosphere, which if fair. It's nice though to hear what's going on your face. Again she wasn't mean, she just wasn't friendly, inviting, warm. Overall experience was that it just didn't have the feel I like when getting my lashes done. I want warm, relaxing, professional, luxury. I want to feel happy, invited. At one point I was thinking, did I maybe upset her. It was just uncomfortable. The whole time with my eyes closed I was thinking I don't like this. There were moments she was hurting me, it happens, it's ok, you know a little lash pull here and there the norm, but she didn't say a word when I would wince. Not, oh sorry, oh are you okay? Silence. Dead silent. Then at the end I guess some glue was on my eyelid and she was trying to pick it off, I couldn't tell at the moment, as I'm laying there with my eyes shut. It hurt as she was trying to get it off, I winced, she said Nothing, she gave up, had me sit up, wipe my own eyes with a cloth, which I found weird. Then said oh there's glue on your lid, it will come off later. I said ok. (I've never experience that at a spa before) It's not a small amount of money for a tint and lift. I got a french manicure and pedicure done yesterday which was done amazing and when I got up this morning I realized one of my toes had a chip in the white polish. I went in to the salon not thinking it would be a big deal to see if I could get it fixed before my trip and the lady who came to assist me was extremely rude and made me very uncomfortable for even asking to get it fixed. I never complained about the service and she made it seem like I was a huge inconvenience, was giving me dirty looks, talking to the other employees and even though I couldn't understand exactly what she was saying it was very obvious she was not talking very nice of me. This was very embarrassing and she even had the nerve to tell me to call next time after she started to fix my nail. The previous owners were wonderful and had great service and staff ALWAYS. Since the recent transition things have changed. I never leave bad reviews but I wanted to this time in hopes the new owners read this and can understand how rude this one particular employee was. Having staff like this will turn clients away very quickly. Even though this is a convenient salon for me, I am really considering never going back because of this awful treatment and how embarrassed this employee made me feel for such a small ask.

My extensions last a good six weeks before I need to get them re-done. I always get the Queen Set and Alannah completely customizes the lashes for you - through a couple of visits and experimentation on my part, we decided on alternating 11 and 12 length eyelashes in a C curl, my ideal lashes. So many salons don't ever give you a choice of what you want, they just slap whatever product they've got on you. She also packs in as many lashes as possible so the effect is truly transforming and somehow still very natural. She's also great to talk to and very personable, making the entire experience very relaxing and comfortable. It's gotten to the point where if I can't see Alannah, I'd rather just not get my lashes done!
