On August 26 I had a facial and derma-facial done. It was 60 minutes and was so relaxing. My face feels so clean and it glows. I am terrible with names and I forgot my esthetician name. I'm so sorry. She did not introduce herself and I asked during my facial. Anyway, she was great. Face to Face Spa does a lot of other services as well. They offer several different kinds of facials, Botox, waxing, weight loss injections, lashes, peels and brow tinting. F to F also has a membership program for discounts off your services. Instead of acknowledging that, he gave several excuses and defended his behavior. I then spoke with him myself and asked for an apology, but again there was no accountability -- only more justification. As a customer and as a parent bringing my family into a business, I expect a professional environment where employees are treated with respect. The experience left a bad impression, not because of the staff member helping us, but because of how management handled the situation. At sign in, it's what you would expect beforehand, questions pertaining to health and such and questions to help guide the massage therapist but that doesn't matter because there's no mention of seeing what you selected, they just ask again. When we started the massage, my therapist entered the room and with no warning at all, throws a hot ass towel on my bare back. Not hot enough to scald mind you, but hot enough that you would want some warning beforehand. YIKES! Little to no communication from here on out. The only real positive is that she actually worked on the sections we discussed even though I feel like I didn't get much relief. At the end, as she was walking out, she says," you'll get more benefits with added sessions." Little to no consultation, education, or additional information were given or offered, afterwards. It's really just all about getting you back in for more appointments as opposed to fixing your problems. All in all, I would suggest finding another spot where the people and prices are little more welcoming and you can get some education or insight as to what's causing your problem and not just a suggestion of more sessions. And with prices like these, that's exactly what's keeping them in business. I'll definitely stick to my little independent places from now on so I feel like I'm supporting an actual small business.
