Very, very disappointed!!! If you ever need to make any changes to your appointments w/Jai, due to work schedule changes (thus, the source of income and the very reason you're able to get your lashes done), she is NOT the one. I will not discredit her work...it is amazing, but her flexibility with changing appointments w/ADVANCE notice is based on a double standard. I've had several appointments with her before, but what happened today, was bullsh!t (for lack of a better word)! Very very upsetting/disappointing - she decided to cancel my upcoming appointment (next week) because she said I've changed it too many times?!! Mind you, she has a very structured and firm change/cancellation policy (attached photo - where it does not say that there are a certain amount of schedule changes allowed) that I followed to a T. However, she doesn't seem to follow her own policy. She has asked me to come in earlier or come in later because she needs to leave early or she's running behind schedule. I've never complained, and never said no. I always showed up on time and whenever she needed to change my appointment time (which was less than 24hrs sometimes) I always said "yes, sure". I never ever changed/cancelled my appointment w/her less than 24hrs prior. She said in response to me changing my appointment: "it'll mess me up with my other clients", as if I'm not a client? What's the whole purpose of the cancellation/change policy if you can't make one w/out getting penalized? And PLEASE!...any good lash artist can easily fill the slot if changes occur! She's just very one-sided when it comes to scheduling. We all have reasons for having to make changes to appt times - that's life!!!...It would be nice if she were fair and were more accommodating like I was to her requests. My friend recommended me to Jai and I'm so happy she did. I really liked my old lash place but they couldn't get my lashes as full as Jai gets them. She has a nice quiet room in the back of the Salon. It's very cozy and comfy. I always doze off while she's doing my lashes. It took around 3 hours for a volume full set and about an hour and 45 minutes for a volume fill. If you are coming in from a different salon she will not work over those lashes so you have to get a full set. She will take them off and clean it for you.
