As a community minded member of Naples, I would never want anyone to have a similar experience to mine. I would NEVER want anyone to fall victim to this dentist. I looked around the beautiful office and thought "how bad could it be ?" I went in for a simple check-up and the drafting of my "Treatment Plan" had begun, My nightmare began when I permitted them to replace two simple cosmetic crowns that they informed me "had to be replaced" I was a bit skeptical since they were only three years old but I thought I was in "safe hands." They replaced the crowns so poorly, the color was about 10 shades, the margins remaining were so large that food would get caught and infections have set in. While undergoing that process I received my proposal for all of the future dental work "that had to be done. This bogus proposal stating that I had $32,000 worth of dental work to be preformed immediately with 23 cavities documented. I was scared out of mind regarding the pain involved to my mouth and to my bank account. I was so terrified and upset that I started telling my story to friends and they insisted that I get a second and even a third opinion. Well, I did get a second and third opinion and sure enough I had ONLY ONE cavity. What more can I say???? (I have had three root canals on the teeth that they treated and their crowns have been on painfully removed. )

He always told me what was going on and how the process worked. I went in for a cleaning on my third trip and the Dental Assistant was thorough and informative also. He didnt just take x-rays on my teeth, they took actual close up HD pictures of certain teeth and then Dr. Mas came in and we discussed whether to replace the fillings and what type of options I had for each tooth that was in question. I never had a Dentist sit down and show me pictures of my teeth and involve me in the decision making. Most dentists just say what they want to do and then pressure you into doing it...not here. They identified no issues, stating jaw was fine. They were in constant contact with receptionist. Receptionist then spent 15-20 min. trying to sell me a home sleep apnea test. I declined. Receptionist charged $150 to my credit card. Provide receipt (like cash register receipt). Upon returning home, I immediately called office to indicate I did not receive an itemized bill. Receptionist indicated "Oh, most of our customers don't want that". I indicated I did, please send. Upon receipt, I noted a $35 charge for a 'radiograph' not received. I contacted office immediately regarding this fraudulent billing. I requested a reimbursement check. I called the following week when check not received. Receptionist indicated the check would be sent "when they process checks". I called again 11/12/24 to report check still not received. Receptionist stated "Everything goes out after the first of the month". (It was well beyond USPS delivery time). As of 12/2/24, check still not received and we are now into the NEXT month! Obviously, this fraudulent billing was purely intentional; thus the reason for failure to provide itemized billing. Many/most customers may not notice if they do not call for itemized bill. Reimbursement for $35 fraudulent credit card charge IMMEDIATELY due!!! Customers/potential customers BEWARE of this dentist office!! ENSURE YOU REVIEW AN ITEMIZED BILL!!!
