Yes, it's a bit of a hoof, but I will gladly brave the distance and traffic to get my hair done here! Plus my daughter's friend Kyra works here, heyyy girl! (Kyra also does quality work) The salon is light and airy without being pretentious. Wood floors, deep blue accents and a minimalist design, yeah, works for me. The music is just right and they play a mix. You will receive a relaxing hand massage, mini facial, and coffee, tea or water, of course. I can't complain about the fees either, total win! Nicole did not 'push' products either , she just mentioned one or two that I could benefit from using, even told me how to mix one of them with another product I already have for maximum smoothing. The clientele is mixed, from soccer moms to tattooed, men and women. Check site for hours and they are closed on Monday. Follow them on Facebook for specials and updates. Salon Bella was a very pleasant surprise. A nice simple Aveda salon, I didn't feel pressured to buy or that I needed to be a certain way, put on airs, stick my pinkie up when drinking tea or pose to fit in. Double win! I'm sitting in my car trying to feel myself and these new lifted lashes, but all I could see was black residue from products she used. My lashes were also clearly unevenly curled which was unfortunate. I feel like Kay was not taking care of me, assisting other people while it was seconds from removing product from my lashes. I was never in a private room like the other clients, but sat in the main room where people entered and left the building. I'm not sure If I'll be coming back, but I'm desperately looking for a reliable place in Columbus still. Also I wanted to mention that she did tell me that if I called within the next week I could get them redone, but this was only if they had visibly fallen. The salon offers many types of nail services and I impressed with the options. I've yet to get a pedicure but plan to when the weather warms.
