I have been getting lashes done with koko Bella for about 2 years now. Neka is AMAZING and so is her entire staff. Very personable, caring, and comfortable environment. It feels as if I'm in therapy-- comfortable seating, easy flowing conversations, and most importantly, well taken care of. I had tried two other lash businesses (being on vacation and wanting to see what else was out there) and Koko Bella is by far the best I have been to and heard of. I am constantly getting the question if these are my real lashes because they are done so nicely and professionally. There are many different looks you can ask for and they are able to help you pick what works best with each face structure since we don't all have the same. I request longer lashes with a natural look and that is exactly what I receive. They look so real and natural that people are surprised when I tell them I get them done. I never buy mascara anymore and I never spend hours doing make up. No eye lash curlers needed. No water proof mascaras. No make up remover. Just Koko Bella :) I've been meaning to write a review for awhile now but hadn't got around to it. Hopefully this helps you decide to head into Koko Bella because they are the best of the best! (If you're looking for more, give them a call because they offer more than just lashes) Very clean and sanitary as well. Everyone wears a mask, hand sanitizer and hand washing is regular. Seating is always being cleaned, headrest has a protector. If you've never had lashes done and you're not familiar with the pricing, I can tell you that Koko Bella has such great pricing especially for the work done. I definitely did my research before starting my love for lash extensions and the care done here... well just know you are being well taken care of. Lashes are so delicate and at Koko they know that, and hats why they apply each individual lash. You don't want those lashes that are put on with chunks and end up with glue everywhere and ripping your actual ones out. I wish I had something good to say about these lashes... but I do not. Mine fell out after about 3 days. I have gotten lashes before and I know how to take care of them in order for them not to fall out so that was NOT the issue. I am not sure if the quality of the glue/lashes they use is just really cheap or they simply do not care but I could have done these at home myself and saved $120! The supplies they used looked cheap which should have been a red flag. It is honestly so sad that people are OK with giving their customers bad service and charging them for it as well! I've been getting my lashes done since the end of April/early May by leslye and at first I had no complaints. Anytime I've gone to get a fill-in with her my date or time is either pushed back and I've been accommodating to these changes. Last Saturday, 5/27 I had a 2-week fill scheduled with her and everything went fine, but over the course of that Saturday and following Sunday a majority of the lashes she applied had fallen out. I texted her Monday 5/29 and let know about the situation and she was able to let me come in the following Tuesday to get them fixed. After she was finished re-applying the lashes that had fallen out she let me know that she thinks that one of the products she's using may be expired because she was having a hard time getting them to stick to my lashes. She asks if I can come back the next Saturday, 6/3 in the case that these lashes fell out, which they DID. And then once Saturday comes she cancels my appointment 15 minutes prior. Do NOT go here for lashes. Waste of time and money. I got screwed out of $85 and have NOTHING to show for them. PLEASE spend your money at a different reputable location. read more

I literally had such a good experience here, I was a little apprehensive since I hadn't had my lashes done before and there were reviews saying the place was dirty and the people were unkind, but nothing was farther from the truth- it was very clean, a really relaxed vibe in the loft, and the girls were super nice. Cora did my lashes and made me super comfortable and was done within an hour. They look beautiful, so I would highly recommend this place! If I could rate this a zero I would. I have had my lashes done for the last 2 years with another salon. This salon was cute for sure! But, don't let that fool you for the poor lash service. I went on a Saturday and was happy to get started right away, no wait. After the lashes were done, they were beautiful.. though I could tell the lashes were a bit more flimsy than my previous lash spa. Within 3 days my lashes fell out.. umm, I've had lashes 2 years and never had this problem. I thought maybe it was me.. I started questioning if I got them wet or did I put on makeup(I didn't ). So I went back that very next weekend. Same thing, beautiful but flimsy. And again,3 says lashes were half gone ugh. Now I have let my ashes fall off and my natural lashes are in a state of desperation. Poor poor lash service led to my natural lashes looking a mess. I do not recommend this place at all! read more

I came here about four days ago to get eyelash extensions for the first time. I was super exited and did a lot of research before hand. Once I got there the place was super cute and clean. The woman who did them was very nice. I showed her the length and such I was going for and we agreed I wanted them to be not super dark and bold, but natural. I showed her a picture and it may have been to my fault that she got the wrong idea of what I was going for, however I did explain I DID NOT want them super bold and super glam and that for my first time I was going for a more natural look. Anyways it took about 2 1/2 hours, and it is not too big of a deal and I understand it maybe took longer for some reason however she did say before we started it would take MAX 2 hours and she even said it would probably be less and because of the extra time I was late to an important event. Not to mention SHE WAS NOT WEARING A MASK! I did not get the lashes wet for 36 hours and she and the website says not to get them wet for the first 24 but I waited an extra 36 and I did not even get them wet, just possibly every so slightly damp and for sure only on the tips of them (I was very cautious the first 48 hours when I was around water and even after 36 hours which I waited before showering. And while washing my face, I was still very careful not to get them wet at all). I still have yet to fully wash my lashes and get them soaking wet. So I waited longer than recommended to get them exposed to water at all and then it was all downhill from there. Sense then many chunks and singular eyelashes have been falling out. I have not been touching, pulling, or messing with the eyelashes in any way and it should be at least 6 weeks until they even start falling out at all, and if done well, it would be up to 7-8. It also cost me $120 and I doubt that I am able to get a refund. I wanted to love them but the fact that the day I got them multiple clumps of eyelashes and multiple singular lashes have been falling out every single day, I unfortunately can not. The clumps that have been falling out consist of about 5/6 eyelashes all glued together. I am so so disappointed and I so regret ever going. I used to love this place. Now you never know what you're going to get.. it depends if your technician is in a good mood or not.. and if they really know what they are doing. Spending hundreds of dollars here was waste and I kept giving them opportunity to fix their mistakes. The last appointment I had she was done in 1 hour.. usually takes three just about. Most of my eyelashes fell out in a weeks time. This is not the first time that's happened. Will not be returning.. AND yes I know how to take care the extensions. Been getting them done for years. This is a trash excuse for eyelash extensions. Mine fell out after 4 days. The girl who put mine on was so rude. I walked in and she didn't greet me, she just started talking about how she was sick. She demanded I sit down and when I went to hang my coat up she literally yelled at me. I received about 5 eye rolls before we even got started. After TWO HOURS of putting on SINGLE extensions, I began to get fidgety and she, again, yelled at me. Terrible service and overpriced for the crappy lashes they give. Scheduling the appt: online scheduling, very quick & easy to use. CC is required for a $25 fee if you cancel within 24hrs/don't show up. There was 1 option for scheduling as a new client fill for 1hr 45mins. This is what I scheduled. Appt #1: There was literally ZERO parking. I finally found a parking garage, 2.5 blocks away. Expect to pay to park & walk. First Impression: Space is nicely decorated. Flat tables - which become extremely uncomfortable after abt 20mins. As I lay down on the flat table , The stylist tells me I have over 40% lashes on 1 eye & not the other, that I had 1hr & 10mins of time (I remembered 1.45 but didn't want to argue) & she would do what she could in the time that she had. I explained that I always get 'volume lashes' & usually pay more for them. I asked her to make them as voluminous as she could in our time slot. About 45mins in she began to get really frustrated. I know this bc she walked away at one point to ask questions to what seemed to be the manager, told the other stylist to stop talking to her bc she needed to think, huffed/puffed multiple times & told me I needed to try to not move my eyes (I was already so still on the flat table, that I was extremely uncomfortable). She then reminded me 2 more times abt her timer & she doesn't want to have this looking bad when the timer goes off. I asked if she had another appt after me, she replied no , so I offered to pay more to have them done correctly-there was no response. She spent abt 1.5hrs (still under my 1hr45min slot) on my lashes & didn't charge me extra. The over result, was not bad - the experience, not so great - but the result , (not GREAT, but) not bad. So I decided to give them a second chance, bc everyone has a bad day , right? Appt #2 - I scheduled for a classic 2wk fill/1.5hrs (this is the ONLY option for a 2wk fill) promptly at 2wks. I showed up early to this appt (as I didn't want to have any issues with my timer) - she walked in the door 3mins AFTER my appt time & began to set up. As I lay on the table, she begins to tell me AGAIN about my timer (as she sets the timer on her phone & lays it beside my head) & that my lashes aren't 40% (there fuller than they were at my last appt) & she'll do what she can.. I asked what I need to schedule to get the time/volume that I want (as I'm perfectly happy to pay for what I want & there's no other options for online scheduling). I was told that I need to communicate what I want & keep my hands out of my eye lashes. Also told, If you walk into the lash bar with less than 40% lashes , you'll not be eligible for a fill & will need to schedule another slot for a full set. She very bluntly told me that she didn't have 'enough time' to fill my lashes (as she's prepping to start putting in lashes). I asked what she was planning to do then & I was told - fill in what she could in 'the time', as she spent 'more time' on my lashes the last time & didn't have time for it that day. I'm all about the small indulgences and I love getting my lashes done! I've been to salons in LA and NY and was beyond excited to discover a salon in Columbus. Prices are a bit steep, though, so I resorted to Groupon (although there is a limit to how many Groupon deals you can use for this salon). I've been to Koko Bella a total of five times now, with 3 sets of 50% coverage and 2 refills. Time: The 50% coverage takes way too long- around 1.5+ hours. Service: Really friendly estheticians. Love chatting with the women. However, very difficult to get ahold of via phone. Quality: They fall off much faster than what I've experienced from other salons. Although the lashes last for two to three weeks, the lashes and glue irritate my eyes. I think they use cheap materials, which is upsetting because it's so close to my eyes. This past experience especially, I absolutely LOVED the lashes and the overall look, but the lashes themselves are so uncomfortable and itchy that I've been putting oil on every night to try and take them off. Unprofessional. Dirty. I didn't want to give this place a star at all but the only way to leave a review was to. I've had my lashes done for years now and upon recently relocating to Cbus, thought this place would be good. First off, it's not the easiest to find on high street because there are no outside signs other than what's on the door. Once, I went up the stairs, there were two young girls on their phones. I greeted then and said this was my first time. One of them said have a seat. Five minutes goes by and finally one of them finished with their phone (no other clients were there). I was handed a release to fill out. Finally got started. Not once did any of the staff wash their hands before applying lashes. One of the tools used to adhere lashes fell on the floor and the girl continued using it. To top it all off the majority of my new set fell off the next day with the rest continuing to fall. I have gotten so many compliments on my lashes! I am obsessed with my lashes and love the Koko Bella salon. The salon is located right on High Street. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there is a garage located close by. The salon is very clean and has super cute decorations. The girls that work in the salon are fun and make you feel super comfortable during your appointment. After my first lash appointment at Koko Bella, I slept on my face by mistake a few days after and had a handful of lashes fall off (Total fault of my aggressive sleeping). I had an event that weekend I wanted my lashes to look perfect for, so I texted to see if they could squeeze me in for a quick touch up. They were able to get me just an hour later and fixed my lashes in under 20 minutes. The staff was super kind and did not charge me for my touch up! The prices at Koko Bella are slightly cheaper than other salons- and for a better quality! My lashes always look incredible and natural. read more

Honestly horrible. My eyelashes started falling out after 2 days. The girls spend more time on their phone during your appointment than on your eyelashes. You can actually hear their nails clicking on their phone while they are "doing" your lashes. When you walk in to what is supposed to be a nice salon experience, the girls are all in ratty t-shirts and sweatpants and will only start your service once they have finished on their phone or eating their food. The tables are horrendously uncomfortable, it feels like they laid pleather over a plywood table. The only positive is the workers are very friendly and the price. Worth it to spend an extra $50 dollars somewhere else for your initial and get a quality set. Will not go back and would not ever recommend. read more
