I went to the Deka Lash on Broad st in Columbus, Ohio for a simply eyebrow wax. I made an appointment but when I arrived they did not have any wax. She subsituted something but my eyebrows were a mess. I paid my 50.00 plus tip but I knew when I left I would never be back. Some techs are amazing but there customer service office is horrible, they just called me because I rescheduled an appointment to get a cancelation fee of $70 something I said I rescheduled not canceled,then stated she canceled today's and rebooked. Well then you just lost a repeat customer forever. I got a lash lift and tint, and I will say my lashes look good! However, there was another issue which is why I am only giving one star. My technician got started on my eyes and did not start out wearing gloves; she also didn't wash her hands. I notice she starts sniffling half way through the process. Obviously she is sick. By the time I notice the sniffling she's already had her bare hands near my eyeballs. Then when I'm checking out I notice the sleeve of her shirt has snot on it, like she had literally been wiping her nose on her shirt! Definitely not going to come here again. read more

Ladies, we all know that finding the right professional when it comes to beauty is sometimes difficult and you may have do go through a few until you find THE ONE. Well, after my visit yesterday I might have found my eyelash lady! But first, the salon. This place is adorable and located in a spot with easy access to parking. I am always greeted within a couple minutes of walking in and immediately after, I am ask if I want a blanket or water....top notch service! The music is never trashy and is always an easy listen at a good volume. Now for my lash lady.... I have had a few ladies work on me here. With the exception of one, I have always walked out very happy but yesterday was the best experience yet. My lash specialist Krissy gave me lots of information of how to retain my lashes better and actually spent the time to fill them In to look full and gorgeous!! If I could give a zero rating I would. My technician was awesome, however the owner Krista has been completely unreasonable. She takes no ownership or responsibility that this service has put me and my safety at risk! The night the lashes were on I woke up to the photo of this below and crust built up. Since then I've had the feeling of glass in my eye. I told my technician and the owner told me it was due to my allergies and that they wouldn't charge me to remove....!! I requested a full refund as this isn't an allergy I feel like I have pink eye and my eyes are completely bloodshot, painful, and swollen. To date still haven't received a call from the owner and was told I was lucky I didn't have to pay for removal! Beware of Deka, unsafe practices and won't even discount a service you pay full price for only 4 days. read more

I absolutely love the staff here. I was nervous to get my lashes done for the first time but they looked so good I've been going for about 6 months now. I get the express lashes because they are lighter weight, go on wayyy quicker than a traditional set, and it's much less obvious if a few fall off. The price is super reasonable. read more

Checked out this place during their grand opening! I got a lash true express service done - Naomi was great super friendly and explained the whole process. Made me feel very comfortable sine it was my first time. I wish I could tell ya how long it lasted but unfortunately I was in a car accident and wet my eye lashes that same day so they came out ): your not suppose to wet them within 24 hours I think they said. They do have monthly memberships that are cool. If you wanna put it on hold you just pay $5 that month. When you want to reactivate the subscription the $5 will roll into it which is dope! read more

Experience there was great overall. Very nice staff, talks you through each step, offers a blanket during service if you get cold. my problem is after only A DAY, so many have fallen out and my lashes already look sparse. My overall experience was great! The staff was amazing and very friendly. My only problem is that when I left my lashes started to fall out even before showering in the first 24 hours. I followed the proper care and even bought the cleanser to make sure my lashes stayed clean. I also wear googles in the shower as well and avoid putting any product near my eyes while doing skincare. Not sure why my lashes are all coming off considering I haven't even had them for a whole week. This has never happened to me before while getting extensions. I expect natural fall out but these lashes are barely holding on. It has only been a couple days and I can count the lashes I have left. read more

I do not recommend getting your eyebrow lamination here, not worth a penny. My sixty minute service took ten minutes. If you do not know how to do a service don't do it. There's no heads up that they do not do a eye brow clean up with the brow lamination. And then to find out you cannot get them cleaned up elsewhere in the next 48 hours and you have a wedding. And she told me which hairs I need to cut down. It was as if nothing was done for me besides some oils in my brows and that was my hundred dollars service. I paid service which was eighty and tip. Not worth it, would go elsewhere if you want to walk out with good brows. Was so excited for nothing. read more

The owner, Krista, bends over backwards to make anything work for you, greets you like you've known her for years, and takes great care to ensure you are pleased with the results of your lashes. The "lash gals" are fantastic, too - skilled and kind, professional and patient, and also warm and welcoming. Julie has been my main gal, and like Krista, does everything to make it just what you want. I'm not a complainer, but the skill of each technician is a little different. Don't be afraid to find one you are comfortable with. Also, do say something if the burning sensation lasts beyond a day. They can fix that using a glue for sensitive eyes. read more
