I didn't need to wait long at all, and the lady who did my brows worked quickly but painlessly - I've always been really sensitive, but honestly there was barely any pain :) After my brows were done, she brushed and wiped them, and at the end she rubbed some kind of moisturizer or something across my brows - I'm not sure what it was, but it was very soothing and relaxing, and I really appreciated the extra touch. I really like how my brows look - much better than they did before! I'm definitely going to come back here in the future when I need my brows threaded again :)

So, plan to arrive early to give yourself time to find parking. Wax & Wane is in a renovated two story house. There are multiple rooms, a small lobby, sitting area, two bathrooms, and small shopping areas. It is warm and cozy inside the house. When you walk in it feels inviting. Every staff member is incredibly kind. I don't have a favorite technician. Because everyone is always so nice! The staff does their job precisely and efficiently. They are happy to answer any questions you may have. They take great care to make sure every room is clean and sanitized before and after every client. When you walk into the salon hand sanitizer is on your left as soon as you open the door. The prices at Wax & Wane are generally less expensive then at most waxing salons. Because all they do is waxing. All of their pricing is listed clearly on their user friendly website. Wax & Wane Waxing Salon is female owned. It is also a locally owned business. I am giving it 2 stars though for convenient location & cleanliness of the entire salon. I personally would not recommend.

Where do I begin...No Dazzle dry polish although they said they did on the phone when I made my…read moreappointment. Dazzle Dry lasts at least two weeks. Quite amazing! I guess an Appointment doesn't mean a thing either. I waited 25 min just like a walk-in. The Classic manicure says it has a 6 minute massage. I didn't have any. They use no base. Washing my hands two hours after coming home, the polish on two nails started chipping so I had to repair them. That has never happened with any manicure I've ever had. They advertise their relaxing atmosphere. Hardly relaxing. The technician talked in a high-pitched tone non-stop in her foreign language throughout my pedicure which was definitely NOT relaxing. While she became friendly during my manicure, she wasn't able to communicate enough to pick out the correct polish I had chosen. Even a reasonable manicure/pedicure is no good when they cut corners so much that it doesn't last a day and they don't meet the expectations they advertise. I won't be going back.

I called in 2 seperate appointments for 2 different people. Mine and a friend's. Both were mani pedis. I unfortunately had to cancel the original appointments due to an emergency situation that arose but quickly called back to reschedule. I was given the new appointments with no issue. 2 days later the salon called me to reschedule these appointments because of a scheduling conflict, I said fine and rearranged my schedule to be able to attend these appointments. When I got there for the service I was told it was only a pedicure because that's what had been written on the schedule. I explained that I spoke 3 different times to the salon about these appointments and when I asked how they could resolve this, thinking they would call someone else in or offer a different nail person I was told no. I asked to speak to the owner, Vivian, and at first was told that I should call her, unbelievable right? I thought surely the owner would be able to resolve the issue but she immediately started arguing with me and repeatedly told me that I only asked for a pedi. The fact that the appointment had been made on 3 seperate occasions meant nothing to her so I didn't even get an apology. When I was literally told "too bad" is that I finally understood that this woman was just a terrible supervisor who does not know how to treat her customers. When an owner, boss, supervisor does not have the common sense to simply try to appease a customer it says alot about the establishment. I am not a difficult person to please and am usually quite flexible (I am a medical interpreter and deal with some very difficult patients and doctors on a daily basis) the complete disregard with which i was treated prompted me to write this review. Usually if I have nothing good to say I don't post anything but this lack of any type of consideration was just beyond the pale. Needless to say, when I told her I would not be back she said "ok" with no concern at all. Awful experience and not at all recommended.

When you first enter you are greeted with a open space with a small retro seating area to the left, check in desk and to the right. The entire right wall you are greeted by floor to ceiling floral wallpaper done in grays, black and pink. Plus all the stylist stations. This location also features a aesthetician Morgan who give amazing facials and a selection of other services, including waxing's, micro needling, lashes and even back facials. I first met Morgan during Christmas after discovering her from IG. I had a Dermaplane facial which ended up being more then just a Dermaplane. It consisted of not only a Dermaplane, but also a 2 types of mask, cleanse, exfoliation, hot steam, red light treatment and a face, shoulder and arm massage. Yes, you did not read that wrong. You get a massage.‍ For this visit I received a anti-aging facial. Which is similar to a signature facial and you get all the same bells and whistles, but the mask when dried makes you look like you could be featured in a Halloween movie... lol. It helps with fine lines & firming the skin. I highly recommend it. I also had a schedule hair appointment with Rachel who I love. When I first met her my hair was basically fried from over processing and from making it every color under the sun. Since then my hair is a healthy vanilla blonde and I love that she is straight with me and isn't afraid to tell me no when it isn't best for my hair. All the stylist during my visit were friendly and it reminded me of a close group of friends that worked together. Easy going, light fun vibe.
