'LaTership' provider for http://Amazon.com Ordered from Amazon with my Prime account. I paid extra for 1 day service. They marked the package as delivered before they got here, which was BEFORE SUNRISE and told me "they probably couldn't get into your building" as the reason it was undelivered. It is 300% late and after 3 calls the status and location of my $$$ package is apparently unknown to anyone. Northern Virginia APARTMENT/CONDO Customers: Do not use LaTership if you live in an apartment building, they do not have the access codes that UPS, Fed Ex etc have, they will scan it as delivered to save their butts, and give you the run around for days because they ARE NOT ABLE to deliver to secure apartment buildings, and would not attempt to use the buzzer. UPDATE: The Latership Deliverer showed up with another guy with him to translate English, the other guy who was translating for him especially (which I don't know if he was a Lasership employee or not?) Began to question me on why I had complained about the package begin late, he (on behalf of the driver or on his own accord(?) claimed that the reason he did not buzz me on Saturday morning was because "maybe I was sleeping". His defense was that he left it at the office (But my office is CLOSED on Saturdays and especially at 6:55 AM, before sunrise, when it was supposedly delivered ...Hmm?) Well, He likely left it at their door but in that case why not leave it at MY door? By Monday (today) the package made it's way inside, the leasing office told me that Lasership returned to the leasing office and the guy "ripped through" and grabbed the package to take to my building. Also, if the driver knew all along where he had left the package why was this information not conveyed to me when I called 2 days ago? Why did the dispatcher give me contrary information. OK, Lets say through a series of miscommunications this was 'nobody's' fault, is it still very unprofessional for 2 male representatives to come to my door then proceed to question me- unprovoked- in my doorway (single female) about my checking the status of my package? ***(Interesting: I did not 'complain' to their headquarters, I was always calm and simply *inquired about the status of my package-- I reserved my complaining rants for the internet)So maybe someone from their HQ got hold of my complaints here and on Yelp?-where we are free to share our personal reflections on service for the benefit of other consumers hopefully without costing an individual their livelihood. There was no reason for the confrontation, they were obviously resentful towards me and unprofessional. I am however not wholly mad at the driver, perhaps there is too much pressure, low pay and not enough training put on the drivers, leading to understandably resentful stressed out workers. This on top of a very poorly networked company. I ended up hearing from a sympathetic sounding follow-up customer service rep in the end, it was nice but I can't un-know the poor experience I've had. Nor should I do a disservice to my fellow consumers by not sharing my experience up to this point. Bottom line - i will avoid using this service again even if it means not ordering through Amazon. WORST COMPANY EVER! LIAR'S, THIEVES, RECKLESS, CRAZY PEOPLE! I ordered a shipment from Chewy.com Saturday and was told it would be here Monday. My package was shipped with Lasership. When it wasnt here monday, I tried tracking my shipment and it said "delivered at back door."I live in an apartment and do not have a back door. So I reached out to lasership customer service via email and they responded saying it would be here in 1-2 days. let me remind you that the tracking had already said delivered. That was lie numbers 1&2. then when my package wasnt here by wed. I emailed lasership again. they then told me that my package had be returned to the seller, (chewy.com.) thats when I started calling them, trying to speak with a live person. After being on hold for ALMOST AN HOUR, I finally spoke to someone, I gave her my back story, she told me she would look into it and be right back on the line. SHE KEPT ME ON HOLD WAITING FOR HER TO COME BACK FOR 3O MINUTES BEFORE SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! SO I Tried calling back, No answer, I left a voicemail demanding someone call me back, no calls back. I tried calling one more time before they closed, a man answered, I told him my name AND HE IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP! Finally on Thursday when I had had enough of the BS, I called chewy and requested a replacement package sent out with Fed-ex and i got a new package no problem. Friday (today ) comes around, I get a call from a manager, she starts making up a bunch of excuses. First she told me that a new girl had put my box on the hold rack, then she told me the box was moved to the return to sender rack. ONCE AGAIN LET ME REMIND YOU, THE TRACKING SAID DELIVERED MONDAY. finally after all the BS excuses, I asked her straight up, "where is my package?." She put me on hold for about 5 minutes, then magically she said "your package will be there by 4pm." we hung up. I got my package about 2-3 hours later and MY PACKAGE WAS IN SHREDS!!!! (pics attached) My items were spilt, ripped, broken and some were missing!!! the box was ripped at the bottom and it looked like it had been tampered with. So I called back the manager, and spoke to her. I explained how the box arrived. I also explained to her that it looked like the box had been opened and resealed. SHE ADMITTED THAT AN EMPLOYEE OPENED UP MY PACKAGE, LOOKED INSIDE AND TAPED IT BACK UP!! not surprised half my items are missing!!!!! This is the worst company I have EVER dealt with. DO NOT EVER DO ANY KIND OF SERVICES WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES! I refuse to ever deal with Laserships service again. If that means cancelling an order, that's what I will do. After checking my tracking and realizing it said "Delivered", I immediately called Sephora, as I have never even heard of Lasership before. According to Sephora, they noted leaving it at a front door. Well, the delivery address was to my job, and I work in a very industrial area. There aren't any "front doors". Luckily Sephora was willing to confirm my truths and reship my package without hesitation (love them). The very next morning I call Lasership, as Sephora suggested, to ask that they make sure I SIGN for my package upon delivery and if there is ANY issues, to CALL my phone. This was at 8 am. By 12:22 pm, I get notification of "Delivery Attempted". This was not true, as I was at work all day waiting. I call Lasership again immediately. They brush me off the phone pretty quickly after a LONG hold, and tell me hes on his way and will call me when hes there. Okay... Lets flash forward to about 2:30. Driver from Lasership calls my phone. Not only is he on the other side of the city, but when I describe in detail, where I am... he asks me to meet him by the local Target. Meet him? By Target? When you have my delivery address that I paid shipping and handling for? Im so confused. Not only did he ask that once, but 3 times.. before i abruptly, pretty much yelled "NO I AM NOT MEETING YOU ANYWHERE. YOU NEED TO COME TO THE ADDRESS ON THE PACKAGE." The guy finally arrives, (and I admit he was a lot nicer in person and tried to make a joke out of it all).. but I thought it was very odd that he was driving a personal vehicle. Does Lasership not have vans, or company vehicles that don't look as sketchy? Idk, it all really creeped me out and pissed me off. It makes me wonder what REALLY happened to my first package. UPDATED from 1 to 2 stars because I finally received my package. Still unhappy with this experience overall I order a lot of items online and this is the first time I have had a company use LaserShip to ship the package. This has been the most terrible shipping company I have ever dealt with. I have reached out through email, through the contact us on the website, through the bot and even spoke to a human twice and I still don't have my package which was due to be delivered almost a week ago on December 4th. Each time an email is an automated message gets generated saying that someone will follow up with more information but they don't. Then on Sunday I was told by a customer service agent after waiting on hold for nearly an hour that my package was "found" while I was on a brief hold and it would be delivered the next business day, it didn't even have tracking updates come Monday morning. I called customer service mutiple times yesterday just to get hung up on by a recorded message telling me to inquire online. Eventually after being on hold for 20 or so minutes I got another human being. She informed me that my 3lb package "could not fit on the truck", SERIOUSLY, and that I would receive it today. This morning I check tracking an it says there is some sort of delay and now I won't get it until tomorrow! If I even get it. This company is totally unprofessional and it's unacceptable to be treated like this. I have even attempted to ask if I can just drive the hour to pick up the package and I have gotten no clear answer on that either. I plan to boycott internet orders from anyone who uses this company in my area in the future. I would give them 0 stars if I could. read more

Every time I see that an order from Barnes & Noble is being delivered to me by LaserShip, I cringe!! Multiple times over the past several months I have had to call Barnes & Noble for replacements of my orders. The delivery person(s) continually leaves the packages at my garage door when I have time and time again requested that they be left on my front porch. I even have a large sign on my garage door requesting that deliveries not be left at the garage. One delivery before Christmas was left behind my garage door. Not knowing that it had been placed there, I backed out over it crushing the box. Replacement from B&N was required. A week or so later, a box was left on my mailbox post (at the end of my 450 ft driveway) during a snowstorm unprotected and discovered the next day. Replacement time!! Another time, my husband met the driver in the driveway and verbally requested that packages be left at the front door. The lady basically threw the box at my husband and drove off. Today was the frosting on the cake!! In the pouring rain, 2 boxes were left at my garage door again, unprotected in plastic, and got totally soaked through ruining the items in the boxes. Again, a call was made to B&N for replacement. What do I have to do to have LaserShip leave all of my deliveries on my front porch?? Sorry if the driver has to be inconvenienced to get out of the van and walk to the door!! I have put a major complaint in to B&N about LaserShip and to stop using them!! I am not normally one to speak out negatively about a product or service, but my experience with Lasership in the past week has been absolutely frustrating. I have used this service in the past and have typically had packages delivered in a timely manner- however, an order I placed last week arrived at the distribution facility in my city 5 days ago and apparently hasn't left. Every day for the past 5 days, the tracking site states that there is a "delay in delivery due to external factors". I understand that with the holiday season upon us, things are busier than usual. However, it has been incredibly frustrating that there has been no progress made, and I am unable to contact the facility for an update. The customer service is non-existent; I have left emails and voicemails, and spent over an hour on the phone on hold waiting to speak with someone directly. When I called the specific facility that supposedly has my package, I am redirected to the same customer service line. I hope that this is a temporary miscommunication, or that this can be resolved sooner rather than later, but as of now I can't help but express my frustration at their lack of follow-through on their service and their lack of customer support in situations like mine. read more

What a joke this carrier is!!!! Tracking my package from Amazon states it was "delivered on 8/9/11 at 08:44 pm" (08:44 is not pm, it's am. 20:44 is pm if you insist on using military/24 clock time). Well, no package was delivered. I called them on Wednesday morning and they told me they needed to contact the delivery person to begin the location process and I would be contacted later that day with more information. No call/email received. Called Thursday morning and went through the same dicussion with the same promise to contact me later that day with information. It's now Friday, still no package, no communication from anyone at Lasership. I called again and they still have no answers for me. This company is shady at best. From reading the other reviews and having had the experiences I've had with them, I would NEVER........EVER allow anything to be shipped by this company...............EVER!!!!!! If you want to get the run around, not receive your package and feel completely disrespected use Lasership................misery loves company! If you'd like to actually receive your paid for package in the shipping time you paid for, insist on shipping through a more reliable and reputable company. read more

My husband purchased a limited edition Nike shoe for our toddler as a Christmas gift. On Sunday evening he was notified they were "delivered" but when he went to get them, they were nowhere to be found. We were home all day, so there is no way we missed the "delivery". The photo my husband received as "proof" of "delivery" was at a door that had the same house address conveniently in view in view, but it was with out a doubt not our door as it was a different color. Which means these people went above and beyond to to try to cover their theft. They literally stole a Christmas gift from a baby. Only a lowlife would do such terrible, evil thing. If you are considering using Lasership as a delivery service, you have a better chance of getting your packages delivered by the freaking Grinch that stole Christmas. Literally the most complete crap delivery service, "Out for Delivery to Customer" is the same response I've been getting for 4 hours now! The crappiest thing to ever deliver anything I've ever ordered ever. Plus I chose the fastest shipping possible, one would think it means to put some priority on the package but no. "Not with LaserShip, where the shipping sucks but hey, what are we gonna do? Spend money and actually make it better? hahahahaha you are hilarious!"- Definitely what LaserShip said, word for word. I would give 0 stars if possible. LaserShip is the most unreliable carrier I have experienced using. I am an Office Coordinator for a large business that orders supplies through one of our vendors regularly. This vendor unfortunately uses LaserShip as their carrier. We have never received a package on time using LaserShip. For every order, the carrier consistently makes "attempts" to deliver the package, or will claim the package as delivered when it is nowhere to be found. We have a large sign on our door stating that deliveries must buzz in and deliver to our floor. The LaserShip carrier does not buzz in, and instead leaves the site and marks the status as "Delivery could not be completed - Business closed" - and this is during normal business hours! Who do they think they are fooling... The only time we have received a package from them, the package was delivered a week later than expected and the contents were severely damaged. Vendors please stop using LaserShip as your default carrier! You will lose business due to LaserShip's incompetency! read more

I ordered a DVD box set. Was scheduled for delivery 07/02. Nothing arrived. I forget about it till 07/05. The pkg track info says delivered 07/03 at 1:50 pm (to my office as stipulated in delivery info). I wondering what happened to the package thinking it was UPS delivering. So I call Amazon and they info me shipper was Lasership, Who??? I tell them I never received it, we verify my address, etc . I ask who signed for it? I'm told no one, it was left at the door! Great!! This is what blows my mind ... As usual my secretaries are in office, the door is unlocked, UPS, USPO & FedEx never have a problem delivering. It appears the moron delivering my pkg just dropped it off without even knocking or opening the door!! Now I have to wait another week for back ordered item!! It appears someone stole it or the shipper just keep the pkg. When I called Lasership CS, the woman was very sympathetic, she said , yeah this happens All the time!! (they cut phone customer service). the chat person didn't offer a number till i suggested one. i call when i get tracking #, but laser person tells me it takes a day. i look on their site and it indicates it may take up to 48 hours to register. problem with that is my package is due within 24 hours to arrive, (expedited)! i would much rather wait a few days or a week with the assurance of actually receiving a package. i-herb is totally irresponsible and if they are so expedited because they throw the package at the door they need to rethink their method because eventually when enough customers do not receive their package it will have a trickle down effect. read more

I ordered a package using Amazon Prime and noticed they used a company called "Lasership". Never heard of them, but they do Saturday delivery, wahoo! So I check Amazon and sure enough, Saturday morning, my package is marked delivered! LASERSHIP IS AWESOME, I think to myself as I run half naked down the stairs in my building to the mailroom! And then... no package. So I call Lasership in Woburn and a gentleman named Anthony answers the phone. Anthony had a thick Boston accent and (probably) a blowout. "YAH GUY YOU GOTTA CALL THE CORPORATE OFFICE" Anthony says eloquently. "ACTUALLY DUDE HANG ON A SEC LET ME CHECK WITH MY DRIVAH". Anthony then hangs up on me. I call back, get Anthony again. This time he says "YAH DUDE SORRY I GOT YA PACKAGE IN MY POSSESSION COME TO OLYMPIA DRIVE AND CALL ME WHEN YOU GET HEEEAH". So I do just that and Anthony "The Situation" brings me my package. WOW, just a heads up people, if you order stuff online CHECK out their shipping options and companies they use if they use a carrier called LaserShip try not to order or see if you can request another delivery service. I have seen about 60 reviews of this carrier and about 10 out of those were good. Plus their Customer Service is HORRIBLE. I ordered a Christmas gift for my wife and was supposed to be delivered Friday. Friday night it was marked as Delayed, then half hour later it was showing in Ashburn VA. Saturday morning I got up and it was shown as delivered. I looked and nothing. I called the carrier "LaserShip" and spoke with CSR and he told me to hold. I held on for 10 minutes and he said he spoke with the location in Windsor Mills, Md and he guaranteed me it was on truck and out for delivery. It has not arrived as of tonight. So I called them back tonight and another CSR proceeded to tell me they cannot locate my package any longer. Go Figure!! read more

9/10/2014 Lasership promised me for 5 days they would deliver a package. Their tracking screen never changed from 9/5 where it said it was on the truck out for delivery. They said they contacted the facility and driver ..and I would have it..ON The 8th...ON The 9th. I called a minmum of 3 times a day. They used the excuse that I lived in a gated community NO! Gated home and gate code was included in the address. Plus I gave them my phone number and literally carried my phone with me all day on the 9th. Today I receive an email from Lasers ship at 2 pm: Lasership is unable to confirm control of your package at this time. So that you may be promptly assisted we are deeming this package as Lost by LaserShip. PROMPTLY -5 days of LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will not be buying product from merchant who use them as a shipper. This item was a gift and was needed today. If you want to have stress free holidays...avoid Lasership. read more

Seriously, the most inept service possible. Never a time without a delivery issue. Completely moronic drivers. Customer service is like calling someone's trailer home and interrupting their meal of KFC while the kid answers the phone screaming for Dad and drops the phone. I kid you not. You could have special instructions on your label, but it would be best to have it picture coded detailing what a step, mailbox and doorbell is. Your package is also delivered in a vehicle that always looks like it is something registered by Megans Law. Amazon tends to use them periodically, but I cannot imagine for much longer. They have had to replace damaged or re-ship numerous missing packages. If it were jobs supporting the short bus community, I would tolerate it. But I prefer my packages not left on the sidewalk for people to steal, or somewhere under a bush in the backyard (sadly, not kidding!). read more
