They used someone who was new and inexperienced. I received 52 Botox injections, which is a lot of money, and every injection appeared to affect the wrong muscles. Now my eyes are drooping, my face looks tired, my high cheekbones appear flat, and the muscles around my chin have dropped, creating an older and exhausted appearance. I got Botox to reduce wrinkles and look younger, but instead I feel like I look 20 years older. This is a very important time in my life, and I have become depressed about going out in public or even looking in the mirror. It does not look like my face anymore. I reached out to the clinic seeking help and support, but no one seemed willing to take my concerns seriously. Eventually, I was connected with a customer service representative named Amanda. She kept telling me that my before and after photos looked the same and that she could not see any difference. She repeatedly dismissed what I was explaining and acted as if nothing had changed. I finally stopped talking to her because she was the person handling complaints, yet she did not seem interested in listening to what I was experiencing. Everyone at the clinic could see something was wrong, but she continued insisting that everything looked the same. I do not usually leave negative reviews, but this time I feel the company needs to be held accountable. I have been a customer for nearly 10 years and know exactly what my face looks like. This treatment went terribly wrong, and I am shocked by the outcome. What is even more disappointing is the way my concerns were denied instead of being addressed. They asked me to reach out again, but at this point I no longer trust that anything will be done. I already spent considerable time trying to get help and support, only to be dismissed. After multiple attempts to resolve this issue, I am not willing to waste any more of my time reaching out again only to receive the same lack of support. It seems that the company responds quickly when a public review is posted, but my experience in person was very different. Rather than trying to understand or resolve the problem, I felt that my concerns were repeatedly dismissed. I was continually told that I looked the same and that nothing was wrong, even though the changes to my face were obvious to me and had a significant impact on my confidence and daily life. If you are considering treatment here, be very careful about who performs your injections. I would strongly recommend choosing an injector with extensive experience and a proven track record rather than someone new. I trusted the clinic, and the outcome has been one of the worst experiences I have had in nearly 10 years as a client. What made the experience even worse was the customer service. Spend your money elsewhere. While I've had some amazing nurses, the turn over is so high and I never see them again. Then, you're left with nurses who don't always follow standard protocol and are late to every appointment. Once, I waited in the lobby for over 20 minutes and once I got called in, the nurse started talking about a treatment I didn't sign up for. She then realized I wasn't that patient and asked me to wait another 10 minutes in the lobby. It was extremely unprofessional. Also sometimes when I'm done with my appointment, I go to the front desk to schedule my next one and there's no one there, and I have to wait another 5 minutes for the front desk person to come back. Honestly, if I wasn't locked into a contract on their services, I would have taken my business elsewhere a long time ago but I've tried speaking to their customer service and they will not give me a refund on the thousands I've paid so just trying to get my moneys worth. " I was confused at first then i realized she meant then weight loss shot. This is pretty crazy to assume right away . I just gave Laser Away Fremont location a call, but agreed to get transferred to San Carlos location for a phone consultation. The main reason for the consultation tonight is to ask for laser hair removal pricing, and nothing more. The lady, Kana, was really nice when I spoke to her. However, I did not appreciate how I was made to feel like I had to lock into a financing for a packaged deal. Supposedly she gave me a huge deal, but I am also very weary of the whole, "get this awesome deal now or else you'll lose it" speech. Even after asking her if I could sit on the thought of financing the packaged deal, she kept pushing me to enter my full contact information, which included email, name, birthday, address, how much I pay in rent, and monthly gross income. They even have an option for us to enter our SSN, for some reason. Although she kept pushing me to enter my information, I ended up telling her to let me re-consider. She then lowered my financing price, which took me by surprise. It seems like she was desperate for me to sign up then and there. I was so surprised that I wasn't sure if I should say "thank you" right away. Especially since I felt conflicted that I am still made to feel like I HAVE TO sign up right away. Kara then said, "you're welcome" before I had the chance to really say anything. Not surprisingly, she hung up without a word more when I insisted on needing time to think about it. I don't know I much I trust this place after this interaction. Perhaps she felt like I wasted her time, but I also didn't appreciate their business practice. $201/month - $212/month payment plan for 24 months is still a lot of money to be dishing out overtime. All I wanted is how much it would cost me if I had my hair removed via laser here versus other places. In my opinion, I'd recommend calling other places prior to giving this place a call. Ok so I'm going to complain about Nurse Karen who did my 13th tattoo removal session with Laser Away. Yes, 13th session and I never had this type of problem with any of the other nurses who I ever had. I think she had an intention to inflict pain on me the more I think back to our strange encounter & look at the photo the day after the laser removal. I put the numbing cream on myself, per usual, and wait 30 minutes for the numbing to kick in. Nurse Karen, calls me back takes off numbing cream, starts zapping away and WOW was this the worst pain I have ever felt any other session. I was feeling like it was pure torture & thinking maybe "wow they must be upping the level for me on my last session of the package." I hardly show any visual to Karen of how bad I'm in pain, and I literally laid there in silence until Karen starts asking me questions like "how is it going, it hurts more than usual huh" she kept asking like she really wanted to know. It was so weird more I think about it. I responded with "you know it actually does, this is the worst it's ever hurt" & she seemed oddly satisfied hearing that. Super weird to even state, I know. The whole encounter was not only painful, but it was WEIRD! Anyway, next day I check out the aftermath and see that she completely zapped me where I did NOT PUT ANY NUMBING CREAM because there was NO TATTOO! Why would she zap me on areas there was no tattoo ink ? To make matters even ridiculously worse, I raised this concern & complaint of mine with their Medallia Feedback "How Did We Do?" Bs and they never responded to me. With a background in business management and experience in using the Medallia tool, I know that someone saw my concern about Karen and completely dismissed and chose to not even address it. I will also add that even though I live closer to the Burlingame location, I was always told by nurses MANY TIMES that would admit to me that the San Carlos location has the stronger lasers so if I want to ensure that my tattoo gets removed quickly I should go to their location instead. As you see on the picture, they didn't do a good job on me, they left several untreated spots and this happened 3 times, you can clearly see the squares. I brought it up to the 800 # and they transferred me to the location i went to where then I spoke to the manager and a couple other girls and she said they would assess me at the end of my treatment and they didn't do anything about it. I paid almost $3k just to damage my skin - I tried several times requesting at least 1 free sesión and they refused. No one has done anything about it Also I used all their products and I would say don't use them as they will stain you face ! Only gave 2 stars because i could tell the worker was new and can hopefully improve with practice... I went in for laser hair removal for my legs (7th session out of 8) and this is the first time I went to this location, since it's a bit closer to my house. There were 2 times where the worker lost control of the laser and it started lasering all over the chair/room. This is most definitely a safety hazard and I just hope this does not happen to anyone else. She also did not know how to ice my legs down, so the pain was extremely high at certain points. I will not be returning to this location and hope this worker gets more practice before working on patients. read more

I used to go to the Palo Alto location (who were also great over there as well) but San Carlos is much closer for me. Today I got a call asking if I could go to San Carlos since Burlingame was experiencing a power outage to which I responded absolutely! I arrive at my appointment to be greeted by Kelli and Sara at the front desk-super friendly and welcoming they got me checked in right away.
