He immediately noticed I had a bad infection before he removed my sutures, and likely ended up saving the work that had been done on my nose in the process. I spoke with five different surgeons in the Bay Area and she really stood out for her professionalism. More so than any other surgeon, my consult with her felt like a medical appointment as opposed to a sales pitch. She went into my medical history and went to great lengths to understand the results I wanted to achieve, especially as a smaller person trying not to go too big. She was honest, patient, and highly informed and willing to go into great detail about the procedure, which I really appreciated. Jolie (the practice manager) was also fantastic for laying out all of the details of the surgery and making sure it went smoothly. I trusted her enough to try a new implant (Motiva) that she hadn't worked with previously and do not regret my decision at all. The surgery itself went very smoothly and I had a surprisingly quick recovery (2 days of bedrest for 215-230cc implants under the muscle). Dr. Weintraub and Jolie were very responsive with the questions I had about aftercare. Three months post-surgery, I'm incredibly happy with the results and keep getting great feedback about how natural they look and feel! 10/10 would recommend this practice and working with Dr. Weintraub especially. Note: A lot of plastic surgeons will go to great lengths to market themselves, taking out advertisements and promoting their business so it's at the top of search results. This review is long overdue…read more Over 12 years ago, I had a breast augmentation performed by Dr Struck, and it resulted in severe capsular contracture and some of the worst scarring I have ever seen. He placed 550cc implants through the nipple, and I was left with horrendous thick scars that affected me physically and emotionally for years. What makes this even more upsetting is that I have since had my implants redone by a different surgeon and did NOT experience the same complications, excessive scarring, or poor outcome. That alone confirmed for me that what I went through the first time was not "normal healing" or simply bad luck. I understand surgery always carries risk, but there is a difference between unavoidable complications and careless surgical work. I spent years feeling insecure, uncomfortable, and frustrated over results that should never have happened to the extent they did. I would strongly warn anyone considering procedures with this doctor to do extensive research and think carefully before trusting him with your body. I genuinely wish I had gone to someone else the first time.

During my consultation appointment, the nurse spent over 30 minutes reviewing a questionnaire I had completed online, re-asking irrelevant details such as my prior surgeons' names and their locations. This felt unnecessarily tedious for an initial consult. About 15 minutes into this process, the doctor briefly came in to begin the consultation (then quickly left), because the nurse continued questioning me for another 15+ minutes. During this time, the nurse shared her age and cosmetic history, commented that I appeared too young for a facelift, and shared some unrelated personal stories despite the appointment running behind schedule. While well-intentioned, this felt less professional than I expected. During the consult, the doctor spent about 10 minutes with me and said I was not a good candidate for a facelift due to a few raised scars on my body from prior liposuction. Yet, my facial scars from two prior lip lifts and a hairline brow lift are nearly invisible and well healed, and I have never had hypertrophic scarring. Scars can be improved with steroid injections or lasers, so refusing a facelift based solely on scar risk felt unreasonable. It also suggested a lack of confidence in her ability to minimize scars. She gave no other explanation for why I was not a candidate beyond saying the subtle lift I might get was not worth the potential scar risk in her view. The doctor took some casual photos on her iPad but offered no thorough assessment. Between the nurse's irrelevant, lengthy questioning and the doctor's narrow, dismissive evaluation, I left feeling this was neither a professional nor competent consultation.
