I went to Dr. Tiffany McCormack for a breast augmentation and initially had a great consultation…read more She came across as very kind, knowledgeable, and reassuring. Before surgery, I felt supported by both her and her team, which made me feel confident going into the procedure. However, my experience on the day of surgery and throughout the post-op process was very different. I did not receive my post-op instructions before or after surgery. I asked the team for them after the procedure and was told they would be emailed to me, but they never were. My husband also asked after the surgery and they told him they would be emailed as well (they were not). I had to call afterward to request them again. Most of my post-op check-ins were not done by Dr. McCormack but instead by her nurse/PA, and unfortunately, I did not feel they were very helpful or knowledgeable. The guidance felt limited, and I often left feeling unsure and unsupported. When I shared my concerns with Dr. McCormack directly, she seemed dismissive and mentioned in my notes her nurse wrote that I did not follow post op instructions (maybe because I didn't receive them). She lacked empathy for my bad experience and did not offer any solutions for her team's lack of professionalism. Additionally, the front desk staff was not friendly or inviting, which added to the overall disappointing experience. Based on my full experience, I would not recommend getting a breast augmentation here. I've since shared my story with a few people and, unfortunately, learned that I was not the only one who had a terrible experience many of my acquaintances have as well.

Looking over the reviews for McCormack, they don't seem to care whether or not someone is happy with their services. I had under eye surgery and chin liposuction (she said it would give me "definition" which was totally bs) with Dr. McCormack. During the consultation visits, everyone was so nice - they wanted my business. Dr. McCormack basically lied to me about my under eye lines. I said it was a huge concern for me. During consultations she said the lower blepharoplasty would remedy the bags AND the lines. Then on the morning of my surgery she said that I'd have to go to the MedSpa for the lines. I don't know WHY I decided to give them a second chance and try the MedSpa. I had a consultation with Precious, and again, my under eye lines where the reason why I went. She said that Botox would help. I paid for their "VIP" membership (total scam). The Botox didn't do one thing. So I've spent almost 10K at this place and feel ripped off. Then on top of all that, the MedSpa receptionist's are rude. My advice: Go somewhere else for everything. This place is totally overpriced and overrated.

I had to pay $50 for a consult that wouldn't be applied to the treatments. I get to his office and he said no, $950 is for 1 treatment. I told him his staff told me the other price. He said he has new staff and they were wrong. Um, no, you should have honored that price! I took time off work and paid for a consult I would NEVER have gone to. I'm furious to say the least. He should have honored that price. I have no respect for people that don't own mistakes like this. I'll never go to this company for ANY services.

He was told it was for a series of hair removal sessions to ensure that the hair removal worked. I went for 1 session right after Christmas. I was told it would take about 30 minutes. 5 minutes into the session the machine quit working and had to be restarted. That took 15 minutes to restart. 5 minutes later, I was "done". The esthetician had it set on a 2 because the machine had been used all day long and kept breaking down. I was told I had additional sessions with my package and not to worry. Tried to schedule several more sessions. They were always booked or the doctor was out of town and I couldn't get in. I did finally get a session but was sick and had to cancel. Kept trying to reschedule. No returned calls. No answer at their office. If you call 30 minutes before they close, they just hang up on you. So unprofessional! Finally was able to speak to someone today who told me my package had expired. Then put me on hold and came back and said it was for 1 session and I would have to pay for more sessions. I explained you can get laser hair removal anywhere for less than $100 per session and this was a lie because my husband had purchased a package. They said the esthetician who did my service was no longer with them and they would let the office manager know about my experience. I'm certainly not holding my breath waiting for a call from them. The laser hair removal did absolutely nothing for me. It was maybe 10 minutes of actual laser on the lowest setting. I will never recommend this place! It's a total scam!

I came across a device called Omniwave while scouring the internet for solutions and immediately wanted to try it, but there has not been any place in Reno to get it. Oh a whim, I googled Omniwave again not expecting anything, but then this clinic came up. First off, it should be listed as Youth Inc. instead of just Youth, but meh, oh well. I had a long consult where I was not rushed and had the opportunity to ask all my questions before committing. I did not feel pressured into buying anything. After grilling the device tech, I felt confident to buy a package of 6 treatments. The treatment itself was odd because I was expecting there to be pain, or at least something. The only thing I felt was a small tingle, so I presumed that it wasn't really working or going to do anything. That went on for maybe 7 minutes before the treatment was done with. So I got up a little cranky, but then when I bent down to get my hat, I didn't have the same level of pain that gravity exerts on my neck when I do that. So that was the first big notice. The second notice was my range of motion. I could see more when looking over my shoulders. Lastly, I was in process of developing a migraine, which I get frequently due to my neck, but it did not set in during the evening. I was able to function normally. I'm two days out from my treatment and still doing well. Looking forward to my treatment schedule and the results that will come.

It pains me to write this, but here you go..... and a bit long…read more Bella Grey Medical Spa! If you do AI on what a Medical Spa is, this is the definition: A medical spa, or med spa, is a hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments performed by licensed medical professionals, such as physicians, nurses, or physician assistants. 'These services are supervised by a physician' and go beyond traditional spa services by utilizing advanced technology for a range of non-surgical aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures like laser treatments, chemical peels, and injectables. So my first question/concern/issue is that 'these services are supervised by a physician'. This is most definitely not a Med Spa that is supervised by a Physician. Emily's credentials are MSN, APRN, FNP-BC. Clearly not MD, DO, anything that would indicate Physician supervised. So, IDK? What do you think? So let's move on to that it is a 'hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments'. I dare that you to go here and think that any treatment you have feels relaxing. Like wow, Emily, the owner does not give off a relaxing vibe at all. In and out in 15 - 20 minutes. Please tell me, absolutely not that. Relaxing? Definitely not. And let's move on to my last treatment. $10/unit botox special! Wow, she absolutely over injected my forehead, I had welts and had a Botox headache for 3 days. Have never had that in all the times that I have had Botox (30 years+). And the IPLs I have had are joke. It's just zap, zap, zap - I think 3 minutes? Others that I have had provided numbing cream before and gave 2 - 3 passes. I bought a 6 IPL package, did 4 - what a mistake. So I am 65, not that that matters - but for 30+ years I have been doing Botox, IPLs, Sculptra, Fillers, had a Face Lift, Eye Lift - you name it, I have done it. Am I vain? Absolutely! (just wait until you're 65, ha!) So, Emily will come back and say that I am the worst patient, that I asked a question over the phone if I could do an IPL and Botox on the same day. She will say that I was argumentative, that I yelled at here (I absolutely did not). She will say a lot of things.... but IMHO - take your time with your patients, just saying. I would also like to add that I have been in Healthcare for my entire career. 45+ years. This is not a place I would recommend or refer to friends. Clearly there are a lot of options in Reno, in town, find someone that is compassionate, understanding of your needs and takes time to give you what you need/want. Obviously you are paying out of pocket - so yeah, do your research! Now reading Emily's response, these are now my words/my response: I was never rude, I did not yell at her, I was most definitely not slurring, omg! I just asked a question on the phone. Could I do Botox and an IPL same - she responded and I booked my appointment for an IPL and Botox. That clearly did not go so well. She wants to keep on with the banter, make me look bad (why would you do that to a patient) I'm good and I know that I would never go back to her! So any of you that are in your 50s/60s as I am - I don't think Emily is the right person for you, I think she's early/mid 40s-ish?..... Look for someone that understands you, your age, takes their time with you. And this is an interesting response, right? 'Again, please stop. I have several witnesses to your belligerent phone calls where you are incredibly rude, slurring your words, and asked to no longer be a patient here. Please stop.' Oh my goodness! Please get over yourself! Yup, please provide those several witnesses, really? Honestly, who would say that? I will say the same to EMILY! You are a Healthcare Provider that is not compassionate, completely Rude, completely and truly all about you. So yeah, Please stop! Yowza! At the end of the Day, why would you want to go to a Provider that feels like they need to blast their patients? Emily is self absorbed/all about herself. So done!

Unfortunately some of the staff didn't believe us so they were hesitant to give us proper service. The people who work here don't seem to be aligned on their training. Their nurses also don't seem to know how to get a needle in without making painful bruises. Luckily I was only getting drips once a month, so I figured I'd just tolerate it because this place was convenient to my house and IVs were for health benefits, or so I thought. Do your research, especially if you are concerned about micro plastics. IV bags are made of plastic and can easily flood your bloodstream. According to research published in Environment & Health, these bits of plastic -- from 1 to 62 micrometers long -- are present in the filtered solutions used for medical intravenous (IV) infusions.. so enjoy if you dare! This was one of the reasons I cancelled my membership. While getting red light therapy, the room where you do it in also doesn't have a privacy lock, something to worry about when you're undressing. Oh and if you get their B12 shot, you may experience headaches from the sudden high vitamin concentration. To top it off, some reviewers have received $25 in credits for leaving a review, so don't believe every good review you see here or on Google. The owner is also hardly ever on site and is unresponsive to emails.
