I've been going to his office for facial laser treatments for 2 years. Previous laser tech was wonderful, caring, knowledgeable. She has since left the practice and I met Molly today for my annual laser touchup. I am so impressed with Molly's skill and professionalism! I am an RN and her care was very thorough and nurse-like! Her aesthetician training was in evidence with the pre- and post-treatment support she provided. As I'd never had laser treatments in the past I had nothing to compare to, but Molly gets it right. I witnessed her planning, assessment, action, reassessment...proper skin prep before, full aftercare with products she put into little containers to send home with me, detailed instructions. I highly recommend Molly and trust her judgement and skill.

The spa seemed clean, but one of the saunas was out of order the day I was in. The massage was great! The attendant asked me for my pressure preference and the aromatherapy was not overwhelming or overpowering. My massage took about an hour but I had access to the facility for the day. I did leave after an hour since there wasn't much to do other than the hot tub and one sauna. We've been paying for a membership now for two years, but we are certainly reconsidering that decision. First of all we traveled all the way from Southern California, and we actually went to buy swimwear as so she could enjoy the amenities, beforehand as she has done before. Today she ran into a receptionist who refused to grant her that privilege, I immediately told her I could pick her up, but she told me she'd be done sooner, according to them. She said that they denied her because it was to limit the exposure to heat prior to the injections? Did some recent study just get published that says exposure to a sauna, jacuzzi or a steam room before getting injected 90 minutes prior is dangerous? I just find it hard to believe that this policy is in place when she arrived well over an hour before her appointment for them not to allow her to enter the facility with a day pass is very unpleasant action. Then to tell her that they would see her sooner but subsequently fail to meet that objective and to make her wait the entire time without any word or update is atrocious behavior. Because they did not see her sooner they basically cheated her out of a large portion of her day. How is this acceptable? How do the owners think this is treatment their clients deserve? This is as nasty as the ring at the bottom of a public toilet. You stressed my wife out, and made her far more tense than when I had initially brought her! What exactly is the point of ruining her day? Why is management unable to make good on their word? Why lie to her? Is this how you treat the people who support your business? What she hoped to be a refreshing experience turned into a nightmare. How can we possibly continue to support such an establishment in good faith? Why travel from LA? Why buy swimwear? Why have a membership here? These are the questions my experience from today are leaving me with. It enrages me that you disappointed a loyal customer and she's too sweet and kind to say it herself but the only memorable moments she'll take are that you were mean and you lied to her, and she'll probably blame herself. Not the best wellness in my opinion. This spa clearly has issues that it needs to resolve before I'd recommend anyone bringing themselves or someone they cared about here. Stay away from places like this.

She did a procedure that's called a "exchange " because I had an implant that burst. I'm not sure why it did but it hurt me tremendously. I initially was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and had a double mastectomy at the time. That surgeon did a horrific job because they were incredibly tight so I had them redone in 2014 to make them smaller and just more comfortable at that point. When I started to have pain in my right implant I could tell that the implant had ruptured just because how it looked and felt. The pain is also a good indicator. I went to see Dr. McCormack at her beautiful office that has the surgery center in the same building. Great for her! Nice planning. The front desk people made sure the would not be happy to help with the insurance in anyway...My surgery would be covered since the implant burst. It was a complete pain to get them to get me the doc notes and photos. The lied to me a couple of times until I FINALLY received them. I mean 10 grand is a great vacation for me. I would never get any further procedures at this office because you barely deal with the doc just with those awful front desk persons. I get it you don't want to deal with insurance but seriously they just couldn't be bothered with my request. Annoying

He was told it was for a series of hair removal sessions to ensure that the hair removal worked. I went for 1 session right after Christmas. I was told it would take about 30 minutes. 5 minutes into the session the machine quit working and had to be restarted. That took 15 minutes to restart. 5 minutes later, I was "done". The esthetician had it set on a 2 because the machine had been used all day long and kept breaking down. I was told I had additional sessions with my package and not to worry. Tried to schedule several more sessions. They were always booked or the doctor was out of town and I couldn't get in. I did finally get a session but was sick and had to cancel. Kept trying to reschedule. No returned calls. No answer at their office. If you call 30 minutes before they close, they just hang up on you. So unprofessional! Finally was able to speak to someone today who told me my package had expired. Then put me on hold and came back and said it was for 1 session and I would have to pay for more sessions. I explained you can get laser hair removal anywhere for less than $100 per session and this was a lie because my husband had purchased a package. They said the esthetician who did my service was no longer with them and they would let the office manager know about my experience. I'm certainly not holding my breath waiting for a call from them. The laser hair removal did absolutely nothing for me. It was maybe 10 minutes of actual laser on the lowest setting. I will never recommend this place! It's a total scam!

I came across a device called Omniwave while scouring the internet for solutions and immediately wanted to try it, but there has not been any place in Reno to get it. Oh a whim, I googled Omniwave again not expecting anything, but then this clinic came up. First off, it should be listed as Youth Inc. instead of just Youth, but meh, oh well. I had a long consult where I was not rushed and had the opportunity to ask all my questions before committing. I did not feel pressured into buying anything. After grilling the device tech, I felt confident to buy a package of 6 treatments. The treatment itself was odd because I was expecting there to be pain, or at least something. The only thing I felt was a small tingle, so I presumed that it wasn't really working or going to do anything. That went on for maybe 7 minutes before the treatment was done with. So I got up a little cranky, but then when I bent down to get my hat, I didn't have the same level of pain that gravity exerts on my neck when I do that. So that was the first big notice. The second notice was my range of motion. I could see more when looking over my shoulders. Lastly, I was in process of developing a migraine, which I get frequently due to my neck, but it did not set in during the evening. I was able to function normally. I'm two days out from my treatment and still doing well. Looking forward to my treatment schedule and the results that will come.

I follow the spa's social media as well, and the non-invasive before and after changes she helps people achieve are truly astonishing. I would recommend the spa to anyone for a number of things, from my grandmother to people my own age (38). At B.G. you are provided with honest, realistic, personally tailored goals and results that look amazing yet natural.

It pains me to write this, but here you go..... and a bit long…read more Bella Grey Medical Spa! If you do AI on what a Medical Spa is, this is the definition: A medical spa, or med spa, is a hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments performed by licensed medical professionals, such as physicians, nurses, or physician assistants. 'These services are supervised by a physician' and go beyond traditional spa services by utilizing advanced technology for a range of non-surgical aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures like laser treatments, chemical peels, and injectables. So my first question/concern/issue is that 'these services are supervised by a physician'. This is most definitely not a Med Spa that is supervised by a Physician. Emily's credentials are MSN, APRN, FNP-BC. Clearly not MD, DO, anything that would indicate Physician supervised. So, IDK? What do you think? So let's move on to that it is a 'hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments'. I dare that you to go here and think that any treatment you have feels relaxing. Like wow, Emily, the owner does not give off a relaxing vibe at all. In and out in 15 - 20 minutes. Please tell me, absolutely not that. Relaxing? Definitely not. And let's move on to my last treatment. $10/unit botox special! Wow, she absolutely over injected my forehead, I had welts and had a Botox headache for 3 days. Have never had that in all the times that I have had Botox (30 years+). And the IPLs I have had are joke. It's just zap, zap, zap - I think 3 minutes? Others that I have had provided numbing cream before and gave 2 - 3 passes. I bought a 6 IPL package, did 4 - what a mistake. So I am 65, not that that matters - but for 30+ years I have been doing Botox, IPLs, Sculptra, Fillers, had a Face Lift, Eye Lift - you name it, I have done it. Am I vain? Absolutely! (just wait until you're 65, ha!) So, Emily will come back and say that I am the worst patient, that I asked a question over the phone if I could do an IPL and Botox on the same day. She will say that I was argumentative, that I yelled at here (I absolutely did not). She will say a lot of things.... but IMHO - take your time with your patients, just saying. I would also like to add that I have been in Healthcare for my entire career. 45+ years. This is not a place I would recommend or refer to friends. Clearly there are a lot of options in Reno, in town, find someone that is compassionate, understanding of your needs and takes time to give you what you need/want. Obviously you are paying out of pocket - so yeah, do your research! Now reading Emily's response, these are now my words/my response: I was never rude, I did not yell at her, I was most definitely not slurring, omg! I just asked a question on the phone. Could I do Botox and an IPL same - she responded and I booked my appointment for an IPL and Botox. That clearly did not go so well. She wants to keep on with the banter, make me look bad (why would you do that to a patient) I'm good and I know that I would never go back to her! So any of you that are in your 50s/60s as I am - I don't think Emily is the right person for you, I think she's early/mid 40s-ish?..... Look for someone that understands you, your age, takes their time with you. And this is an interesting response, right? 'Again, please stop. I have several witnesses to your belligerent phone calls where you are incredibly rude, slurring your words, and asked to no longer be a patient here. Please stop.' Oh my goodness! Please get over yourself! Yup, please provide those several witnesses, really? Honestly, who would say that? I will say the same to EMILY! You are a Healthcare Provider that is not compassionate, completely Rude, completely and truly all about you. So yeah, Please stop! Yowza! At the end of the Day, why would you want to go to a Provider that feels like they need to blast their patients? Emily is self absorbed/all about herself. So done!

Unfortunately some of the staff didn't believe us so they were hesitant to give us proper service. The people who work here don't seem to be aligned on their training. Their nurses also don't seem to know how to get a needle in without making painful bruises. Luckily I was only getting drips once a month, so I figured I'd just tolerate it because this place was convenient to my house and IVs were for health benefits, or so I thought. Do your research, especially if you are concerned about micro plastics. IV bags are made of plastic and can easily flood your bloodstream. According to research published in Environment & Health, these bits of plastic -- from 1 to 62 micrometers long -- are present in the filtered solutions used for medical intravenous (IV) infusions.. so enjoy if you dare! This was one of the reasons I cancelled my membership. While getting red light therapy, the room where you do it in also doesn't have a privacy lock, something to worry about when you're undressing. Oh and if you get their B12 shot, you may experience headaches from the sudden high vitamin concentration.
