Don't waste your time or money. I spent over $2,000 on laser for Brazilian and under arms. Did the 8 treatments and still had the same amount of hair from the start. I was then (strongly) recommended another 3 treatments after that where the lady told me it would get all the stubborn spots and I would definitely see results. Well just completed my 11th treatment and you can't even tell I had any hair removal service done. This is definitely a scam. 3 friends bought the same package as me and have had the same results. Very disappointing after spending thousands of dollars and over a year of going to appointments. I know they don't guarantee all hair to be gone but I still have 90-95%. This seems to be a scam. I have taken a package for face hair removal , I am done with 8 sittings out of total 10 sittings recommended. I was been told every sitting it will reduce 8% to 10 % of the hair growth , but till 6 sittings I did not see any result and I met the office manager and she told me they will change the hair removal machine setting, but after 2 more sittings also I do not see any reeducation in my hair growth. I feel it was total waste of money for me , time and energy as I hardily see less than 15 % reduction in my hair growth after 8 sittings. read more

I have had a consultation and 1st session completed. To say that the ladies I have encountered (Sharon, Annette, Sophia and one other one that I did not catch her name) are an absolute pleasure would be an understatement. As soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. My RN (Annette) was honest about every step which I appreciate. She explained everything to me which made me feel so comfortable and gave me things that would help me during my hour long session (I had 4 areas done so it was a longer appointment). Plus when I asked her about cool sculpting she gave me a consultation as soon as the the laser hair removal was completed . The ladies I have worked with have been knowledgeable, honest and helpful. I went to the Dublin location for botox. A week after my treatment I did not notice a difference. I Called, spoke to a manager. She said wait 2 weeks to see full effects. The 20 units I received did not do the job. Initially there were two places on my forehead that I asked to have treated. The RN treated more spots and under my eyes. Not one place that was treated reached proper results. I have had botox many times and 20 units is plenty for me usually. Upon returning to show them, I was told I would have to purchase more units at $15 a unit instead of them fixing the error. Not my idea of customer service!!! I can go elsewhere for less and it will be done correctly. Personally Sev laser has better prices for Laser, and great customer service. I will do my botox with them at $9 a unit and just make the trip to SF. I gave laser away a chance but not my cup of tea! read more

They cancelled my appointment less than 24 hours in advance. I had already taken the day off and adjusted my entire schedule in order to go. There are cancellation fees for when the customers cancel, but no measures are in place for when they cancel on you with no warning. This appointment was cancelled because their laser broke, so it is completely their fault. Despite this, I am having to pay for their inability to properly maintain their equipment. They should have a better system in place for when they cancel on customers. read more

Made an appointment online, someone from Orange County area code called me immediately to schedule. Then their text reminder system was for the wrong day. Had to call them back to fix the date. Arrived at my appointment 5 minutes beforehand. Filled out paperwork, then sat there for 45 minutes while they brought everyone else back and never called me. I ended up leaving because who has time to sit and wait 45 minutes for an appointment. If they couldn't get me in at my scheduled time for a consult, what makes me think they would for the actual treatment? Receptionist was super nice and professional. My eyelash extensions were singed during an IPL. I smelled burning afterwards and just thought that was a by-product of the laser. I called the following day, and their best response was, "A regional manager will call you back in 1 - 2 weeks." Never happened. I called again, "A manager will call back today". Three days ago. Laser Away Dublin is so unbelievably disorganized. I purchased a 7 pack of laser hair removal for my under arms, and saw absolutely no difference. I am naturally blonde, but the technician convinced me since my under arm hair was thick, the treatment would work. It did not. I called to ask if I could transfer my credits to another service. The lady I spoke with said yes, and since it was my birthday month, I would receive a cool and brilliant facial for free! She took my information and told me someone would call me back to set it up. .. No one ever called. I decided to give a third chance. I went in an purchased a cool and brilliant treatment. I mentioned to the front desk staff that my laser arm hair removal didn't work. A new nurse looked at my skin color, and told me the previous nurse USED THE WRONG SETTING! She agreed to give me ONE free laser arm removal treatment (even though I already used 6.) she also agreed to throw in the Clear and Brilliant facial I never received. Come the day of my facial, I got FOUR phone calls saying I needed to pay for the facial. Long story short: They used the wrong setting for my services, and wasted 5 of my treatments. (Around a $700 value). Did not call to assist me when they said they would, and wasted my time by scheduling a "free" facial they then asked me to pay for. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY read more

At this time, I get laser hair removal treatments done on my chin and every session I come in they laser different parts of my chin so now the area has received unequal treatment. About 2 months ago an associate on the phone told me I had 6 sessions left in my account. That I had received 4 additional as part of a promotion. I took her name down and the date she told me in case someone tried to rebuke this. I called recently to schedule my appointment and was told I only had 2 sessions left, not 6. I will never recommend Laser Away. I paid $99 for a test spot. I asked the technician if she had done darker skin before and she swore that she had done dark African American skin. I'm Indian and have a medium complexion so I thought I'd be okay to try. Luckily I didn't test on my chin like the technician suggested. Instead I had a test done under my chin. I received a bad burn. The technician took a picture of the area where the laser left a hole in my skin. Over the course of the next hour the burn darkened and grew more painful. I went back to show them because they asked me to and the same technician took another picture. She asked me what I had put on it and I told her that I hadn't out anything on it because it was a burn. She said I should put Vaseline on it. I sofa with a burn you have to let the heat out first. She said she would call me on my cell phone after talking with the nurse practitioner. When she called me 10 minutes later she said, "the nurse practitioner agreed with me, you need to put Aquaphor (fancy Vaseline) and cortisone on it and your burn will probably last you 2-8 weeks". If you google burns the first thing that comes up is the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin's burn unit saying NEVER put Vaseline or petrolium on a burn as it seals the heat in. Not only is the staff improperly trained in their equipment, the nursing staff is completely uneducated in one of the main portions of their business. I received a call yesterday from a Laser Away physician's assistant. I shared the photos of that burn that I received from Laser Away in Dublin even though it was so personal and terribly uncomfortable and embarrassing to do so because I really didn't want anyone that I know to have a similar experience. Today, 10 days later the burn is still really painful. I spoke with Lindsey the Physicians Assistant who called to check in. She was the first person from the company to call even though I had sent two emails and made numerous posts in various web locations. She expressed a little concern and said that she was sorry about the "Results" that I had. I used the word "BURN" thought the call. She offered her company's physicians and I declined and explained that I didn't trust the expertise of their medical staff since both her technician and Registered Nurse told me to put Aquaphor on the burn. I even explained that you're not supposed to put oil or butter on Petroleum products on a burn. I told her I have now gone to a dermatologist that I trust. She actually said to me "this is such an unusual reaction, the only reason that this can occur is if you used a product with Sallicylic Acid or Benxoyl Peroxide topically or exposed your skin to the sun or if there were incorrect settings." My response was I never use Benxoyl Peroxide or Sallicylic Acid because I clear complexion and hardly ever break out. And I wasn't in the sun, I went into home goods and TJ Max and went home to show my husband and was back to show them soon after. They have now said that they'd reimburse me but I'm still in loads of pain and the scar may be permanent. I've torn two knees and had two c sections and had back labor. If back labor is a 10 and Csections are a 9, This is worse than torn ACL and MCL. I'd give this pain a definite 8. read more

Came in with a friend that was getting laser the first time. I simply wanted to be treated like a potential customer, because I am. I drove my friend and dropped her off because we were running late. I stayed in the Bay Area an additional day to specifically come to this office. I dropped my friend off so I could park. It has been maybe three minutes. I walked into the business and said I wanted to see my friend and learn more about the laser service. The girl at the front desk said she would be done in two minutes. I explained we just got here there's no way she would be done in two minutes. I asked her to speak with my friend. This was after going back and forth a couple of times. Then she knocked on the door and the nurse came out. She walked up and bent over in a way that I felt was condescending. I'm not four years old and the expression, the tone and everything else was just insulting. Instead she could have said afterwards I will answer questions and thank you for being interested in what we do or just something. I stayed an additional day in the Bay Area to specifically visit this facility. Not that they would know or even care to know. The girl at the front desk never asked me one question, she offered water but then saw me with some so she stopped speaking, she never offered to tell me more even after I said I was there as a potential customer, no offer for prices, no offer an appointment, not another word to me as I sat there read a marketing piece. I understand this business is killing it and successful. Great for them. All I know is how I was treated and ignored while I watched the front desk girl do essentially nothing but sit at her desk. I guess it's pretty great to have a business that's killing it so you can just ignore potential clients and speak to them in a condescending manner then never say a word to them again. First impressions are lasting impressions. Walking into a new business as a new potential client and being mistreated is a ONE STAR BUSINESS. I went from excited to pissed. I didn't look at anything else there because they made me feel like shit. Plus, I'm a reasonable person and very friendly. The littlest effort would have turned this around. When the nurse walked out of the room she very easily could have taken ten seconds to make me feel welcome. She made zero effort. She didn't care. The front desk girl didn't care. I hope this review helps them improve on any level. As it stands now, I will never go to a Laser Away again. I will go to a real plastic surgeons office with real doctors and not some mall facility. I'm going to stick with professionals that are board certified and educated on patient manners. I'm so unimpressed. Ultimately, they answered all my questions about this business. Thank you for making my decision so easy. If customer service and manners are important to you then I would consider another place to spend your hard earned money. I've started my laser hair removal process. My experience here has been great which is why I like to stick to this specific location even though I know I don't have to. My experience with Jina has been one of the best. I am currently getting arms, legs, underarms, and Brazilian. Jina made the whole experience comfortable from start to finish time. Jina was tentative to my reactions, asked questions, was detailed and reminded me of all the care tips without sounding grumpy. I especially appreciated her good vibe, she appeared awake, not tired, in a good mood, and relaxed. My schedule is off sometimes due to vacation, but I will definitely try to schedule with her as much as possible. I'll be recommending friends and family to this location and to Jina. read more

I will admit that booking appointments are a challenge because their hand piece broke twice on the day I was supposed to go in. However, Lisa is a great nurse! She was able to explain why wearing makeup is a bad idea (burns), was patient while I shaved my area for the laser and then was super gentle! She zapped those hairs and even took care of an ingrown hair. The hair doesn't grow back and I love my smooth skin. Make sure to see Lisa. She is the best! read more
