He had plenty of coworkers standings in the back area in front of the soda dispenser. He came to our table at 25 after and said it would be another 10-15 minutes before he could start the guac, and did we want it. 45 minutes for tableside quac? No. The tableside guac cart did not move the entire time we were thereabd one guy used it one time to make quac and then took it to a table I could not see. If you know Los Dos, that cart never collects dust, they are know for thier tableside guac; it is normally always in service. PATHETIC!!!! None of us will ever be back. We may not patronize the original location at Holly or Kipling and C470 again. This is NOT the Los Dos the family started years ago and that we fell in love with. Sad and pathetic! I heard they have a new bartender at the Holly location and the margaritas are aweful. Go to Caddy Snack Cantina, great service, food, drinks, and much better prices. We did a quick spin through the next traffic circle and headed right back to A Bit O'Boston. Sho'nuff, that menu had the Fried Clams, Clam Chowdah and MORE. Lobster Cakes! Lobster Rolls! Authentic Boston Baked Beans! The best Potato Salad I've had this side of a southern church picnic. Old Bay seasoning on the condiment table. This joint is authentic. We got one "Back Bay"(Clam Strips with a side, he chose fries) and one Lobster Cakes with a side (Baked Beans for me) and we HAD to sample the potato salad after seeing the person before us dig into theirs. Very glad we did. It was outstanding. As was everything! The clam strips were more like clam clusters, and appeared to be hand breaded. Light and not greasy at all, definitely had some Old Bay in that batter! The Lobster Cakes were, wait for it, FILLED WITH LOBSTER. (See the photo. You won't believe it.). These are fry-bread type fritters, filled with huge chunks of lobster and cheese and deep fried. Absolute heaven. The baked beans were filled with bacon and the flavor of the love that went into making these traditional favorite. Karen, the owner, is the real deal. A nor'easter to the bone, and she loves enlightening the uninitiated to the ways of Boston, whether it's her wicked awesome food, her New England Patriots paraphernalia (You'll forgive her quickly once you taste her food), or her super friendly nature.
