Love this place! Best conchas! Always fresh and soft and delicious. The top doesn't crumble.

I loved our weekend treats. They lasted a few days because we broke them apart and ate them like…read moredonut holes. They were still good when they were old and stale. Ube - not too sweet and so satisfying. My son said this was his favorite. Chocolate Salted Caramel Crunch - I think I need to eat more of these to think of the right word besides yummy Doughchii de Leche - heavenly Oreo Cookie Butter - okay, but my least favorite Strawberry Pebbles - my favorite! Took me back to childhood. I was watching TV when I took my first bite and forgot it had fruity pebbles! So I was taken by surprise by the delightful and crunchy fruitiness. It's missing the fifth star because the donut place near me is budget-friendlier and still the best in Modesto.

I'm a fan! Been here a few times already and this is the best Japanese donut shop in the area…read more Their shop is located right off the freeway exit, making it very convenient for people like me who don't like driving into town. I wished they were closer to Elk Grove because the mochi donut shops here are blah and chained and they do not compare to Doughchii Mochi. I love the variety of flavors they offer and they're freshly made. Their donuts are airy but balanced enough where you still have that mochi texture. It's not heavy and dense like other mochi donut places. All their flavors are bomb! The ube, circus animal, maple bacon, and cookie and cream are among my favorites but honestly, everything is good. Drinks are good too! The owner and staff are friendly, helpful, and provide great customer service every time. I highly recommend placing your order in advance though, because they sell out quick.

The restaurant was clean, offered lots of seating, and had great AC. Our Mediterranean bowl and…read moregyro bowl with falafels, in addition to a side salad and order of shaved beef/lamb, was delicious. We didn't try the other desserts but the baklava was fresh! The froyo and greek donuts were ordered by multiple patrons as we ate our meal in the dining area, so they must be yummy! The service was impeccable, which is impressive considering the manager, Eric, was singlehandedly taking indoor register orders and drive thru orders in English and Spanish, along with fulfilling door dash orders, bussing/cleaning, communicating with the kitchen professionally and patiently, accommodating for patrons' last minute requests/needs, and delivering food to tables. Eric deserves a raise, a medal, and a vacation. An all around great and affordable experience. Pro tips: Lots of inexpensive drink options in the attached gas station mini-mart that also offers bathrooms for Nick's customers.

Great staff. *Con: 2 out of 3 food items I ordered looked less than appetizing. Greek fries looked anemic. Spanakopita looked greasy and tired. Falafel Pita looked gorgeous! *Pro: despite some of the food not looking that great, the taste of everything was AMAZING!! Yummy, yummy, yummy! *Con: despite tasting wonderful, the falafel was spicy! Made my nose run a bit. I loved it but unless you like a bit of spice, I don't know if you would enjoy it... *Eh- baklava is neither a pro nor con. It's great if you're craving something really sweet... Overall, I'll come again, but only if I'm craving Greek food.
