I wanna start by telling you guys how cool Tyler and Michael are!!! These guys were so friendly and catering and definitely made me want to hang out longer then intended. This place has a great Happy Hour and apparently, a Awesome Brunch by the looks of the Brunch menu. The atmosphere is calm and I'm positive that in the winter months, that this spot is the ultimate hidden hangout for those of us who aren't "real" golfers for the food and drinks! The patio is awesome and I'm told that they have live entertainment which is enough reason for me to return in the winter months! The inside is chill enough to go and watch games during the football season, as they have televisions in the bar area with plenty of comfortable seating. Had a great experience with brunch gals Charisse and Pamela the other times on the weekends that we have been there was confused by today's interaction with this server, I had seen so many dogs on the patio many times but came here for lunch on a week day and I was directed to sit on the side area where the sun was hitting saying it was not a dog friendly patio and the manager is a stickler about where we need to sit I think this server Carol is very rude makes up the rules as she goes had to be knew doesn't know the menu whether my sliders comes with a cup or a bowl of soup disappeared never showed up with my drink had to ask the other server then brings my order and my soup choice was not what I had ordered. So very disappointing Hope she has the option to be taught better customer service they train her correctly if she is to continue being a server. read more

The Las Sendas grill has one of the prettiest patios in all of the valley. The view of the golf course and mountains is breathtaking. It's never too busy here and the service is always lovely. I highly recommend the tater tots as a side or even a main dish. You can order them by the pound and they are crispy and delicious. read more

This golf course is a joke -- not because of the layout, but because of the staff. From the front desk to the marshals to management, the attitude here is unprofessional, rude, and outright embarrassing for any business. It's like they actively go out of their way to make you feel unwelcome. I've never seen a team so collectively arrogant and incompetent. Customer service is clearly a foreign concept to them. If you're expecting any kind of hospitality, forget it. This place could be the most beautiful course in the world and I still wouldn't come back. Do yourself a favor and play literally anywhere else. read more

Las Sendas is a beautiful golf course with great fairways. A lot of blind shots. The only issue is that we were not told before we arrived that it was cart path only. Not only was this difficult as the different elevations make it challenging, it slowed play as well. If I knew this track was cart path only, I would not have played it as I am a senior as I suspect many of the members are. read more

Usually one of my favorite courses in the valley to play but more recently the customer service and experience at the golf course is really diminished in a bad way. If you're playing anything after 2 o'clock, expect to be treated as a second class citizen on the course expect them to turn on water on the greens while you're still playing and the sun is out And nothing to be available when there's still people out on the course. Save your money and go somewhere that's actually gonna give you an experience relative to the price that they charge you. read more

This was the first course we played at in our three day golf trip and man can I say how immaculate the course conditions were?! The date is 12/6/24 and apparently they had shifted over to bent grass. I was a little concerned by some of the reviews that I have read on this course regarding the conditions, but I had continued with the course anyway, and we were not disappointed! The only downside of this course is that they do not have their liquor license and does not sell hard liquor like shots, but they do sell beer. And a Golf standpoint I would rate this a 10/10. Considering that this course does not sell hard liquor or even had cart ladies, this course deserves a 4.5/5. read more

Sadly this should be a higher score. However the course is not in that great of shape right now. The course layout is great, have many different elements through out the course. Condition: Fairways are bare, very thin or just dirt. This allows the ball to continue to roll through the fairway into the desert or water. The approach fringe in front of some greens are carved out. Even though prices are reduced during summer. When you're not able to offer a course in better condition, you need to drop the price even more. read more

Nice course. Good price, but definitely not a Tier 1 or even Tier 2 course. Cart path only with no notification. Also they advertise full bar, which they have. Bar tender is great, but no grape juice for the ever popular Transfusion. NO HARD ALCOHOL allowed on course ... I guess they're too cheap to buy the Big Boy alcohol permit. All disappointment could be resolved with better communication to their customers. Look elsewhere for a true Valley golf experience. read more

One of the worst run businesses I have had the misfortune to use. First, no choice but to use "Golf Now.com" to make the tee time. When I get to the course, I am charged again. ( It is not unusual for me for a course to take a credit card to hold the time and then charge at the course.) The guy at the counter just charged me without asking. I was told the starter would need to see my receipt. Next, I had a 7:50am tee time. I was joining three others as a single. The young man at the bag drop told me the others had not checked in yet. I hit some balls, putted, chipped and went back to the bag drop. I was told one guy had not yet checked in. At 7:54 I asked if they were running behind as I had not been called to the tee. He said no, so I drove to the first tee. The starter told me that the foursome had already teed off! He also said there was a fifth (actually SIXTH) person he had to put in a group after them. I went back to the clubhouse/main counter. The starter was called and is seems the "foursome" had only paid for TWO of the four tee times. He had allowed them to go off without paying! I had paid TWICE and didn't get called to the tee. The guy in charge told me I could go off at a different time...about ONE HOUR later then my original time. I said no and I wanted a refund. Then... ...he said they had voided my charge as my payment was with GolfNow. I asked for the receipt for the void and was told he had "thrown it away". the finally found it in the trash. I asked how to get a refund from GolfNow. I was informed that it was MY responsibility to call them. THAT was another story! Twenty-five minutes on the phone with a person I could not understand to get the money back. I was not offered any compensation for THEIR mistake to make up for me coming there, paying twice, being pushed aside for people that did not even pay! NOTHING. Just, "We're sorry." What a joke this place is. No respect for a customer...I LOCAL customer. I will NEVER go there again and will do what I can to make sure no one I know does either. read more

I'm raising my stars to a full Five! Played here on Wednesday and the course was immaculate. From the minute you drop your bags off to the staff here. This golf club is one of the best in my opinion. The course is pristine perfect including the greens and fairways. The greens here were in better shape then the North Troon Pinnacle course I played on Tuesday and at a third of the price! I teed up with a couple of snow birds one from Colorado and one from Canada and we had a great time! Hope to return here again! read more

I was in Mesa, AZ for a work trip and found this place on here. I loved the pictures and what everybody had to say about the course so I decided to try this out. Mind you, I live in NJ so I had very high expectations for a golf course in Arizona. This place did not disappoint at all. I loved it and had such a great time golfing here. It was extremely cheap because it was the summer time and 110 degrees out. We got to warm up at the driving range for free which is something you don't get a lot in NJ. The course was in great shape and the views were incredible. We saw a wild boar, lizards and a lot of other wild life. It's a challenging course that isn't very forgiving because of all the hazards. Once you're in the hazard or even off of the fairway it's very tough to make up for it. All in all, amazing course that is love to try in the winter when it's only 70 degrees. PS: The food and drink in restaurant was very good! read more

We've played this course several times, and it's a real gem. However, we played it at 730am today and came away quite disappointed. The website failed to mention the entire course had been scalped for overseeding. In fact, there was even large equipment (mowers and vacuum?) On the last couple of holes creating a nasty dead grass cloud to assault our allergies. The driving range was even scalped, and they had the tees moved up so far the only way to hit balls was with a downhill stance. The putting green still had holes cut, but no flags... To top it all off, there was no discount for the conditions, and no beverage cart. It was 97 degrees when we finished with high humidity, and we couldn't even get drinks. The only reason I gave it 2 stars rather than 1 is because the greens were rolling okay despite being really hard, and it's a great layout. But, the beauty of the course was absent, and it really feels like we got shafted just so they could make a few extra bucks prior to their closure for overseeding. We were looking for a late spring round of golf, and decided on Las Sendas, after hearing great things about the place. The first thing I noticed was that the $60 rate includes range balls, which is something that I'm not used to. Superstition Springs had a comparable tee time with a rate of $50, but when you add in up to $10 for range balls, the two courses are comparably priced. It leaves a great first impression when you show up, pay the advertised rate, and don't get nickle-and-dimed just for warming up. The second good impression came when I got a call from one of the guys in my group, who was running late because of an unexpected freeway closure. I mentioned this to the starter, who was more than happy to accommodate us. The staff was very friendly in general, and they almost seemed like they liked having us there, in contrast to some of those courses where they herd you around like cattle. The actual course was excellent. There were plenty of interesting holes, the layout was challenging, and the setting felt pastoral. Some courses, Kokopelli for example, have houses so close to the fairway that any slightly errant ball has a good chance of getting lost or hitting a house. At Las Sendas, there are houses, but they left the fairways wide enough that it felt wide open, and in most cases, even left a desert buffer between the houses and the fairways. And perhaps best of all, this course offers some of the best scenery I've seen at a golf course in Phoenix. The 18th tee box, among others, offers a sweeping view of the Phoenix area; constantly throughout the day, I was cursing myself for not having brought my camera. After a very enjoyable 18, we ate lunch at the clubhouse, and decided we wanted to play more. They got us back out at a very reasonable $20 replay rate. Now I'm not a very experienced golfer, but I think I have a new favorite public course. Even my colleague, who is experience, said after the fifth or sixth hole, "This might be a little premature, but I think this might be my new favorite public course in Phoenix." read more

The good. Course was challenging. The bad. Our group was treated so badly from start to finish. Managers and marshals were very rude and condescending. Beware if one person in your foursome gets sick and is a no show they WILL make you pay for them. No mercy. Plus they charged us the high season rate when we booked the tee time, not the rate when we played. Heads up. Can't explain how bad the experience was. Wow. That is all I can say. I used to love Las Sendas but today changed my mind. For $49 I got maintenance guys on every hole making noise and dusting the place up. I know maintenance is part of the job to keep a course nice but they weren't stopping for us during our shots. One hole even 5 carts and a tractor circling the green while putting. I called the pro shop and the answer was we can't do anything about it. I asked for a refund and they couldn't do that either. Bad business. I gave 2 stars because I have had enjoyable rounds there but today was the last time. Bummer read more

Took my wife to the restaurant for our third anniversary and ordered a steak medium but my stk came out blue so while my wife ate alone I waited 15 minutes longer for my stk to get cooked. The server said she would talk with management but when I received my bill for $130 there was no discount. So the waiter said again that she will talk to management after that I didn't receive my bill for another 30 minutes. When I finally got my bill the manager discounted 3$. Las Sendas means "The Paths" and it's such an appropriate name for this beautiful course. I booked a tee time online and grabbed some friends for a morning round of golf. Located in the far East Valley of Mesa, Las Sendas is about 30 minutes east of Sky Harbour airport. Easily accessible from the 202 Red Mountain freeway, this course is elevated above the valley and offers some great views. Range balls were included in the green fees and our foursome started out for a fairly quick, (sub four hour) round. Most of the guests started earlier than we did, (we had an 8:20am tee time) so we literally had the course to ourselves. The course offers 5 tee box options with distances ranging from over 7,000 yards down to 5800 yards. The fairways were beautiful but unfortunately, the greens had been punched earlier in the week and had some dressing. Regardless, we still made some good, and exciting, putts. Pro shop, restaurant, social venue, and friendly, professional staff make this course a "Must Play" Yes, it's hot in August. Book an early tee time. Prices will go up in the winter but that's a given here in the valley. Good luck and have a great round of golf!! read more

I just want to help anyone who's considering booking with Las Sendas. Their customer service is awful and their soul intention is to simply make money. I couldnt make my tee time because my friend canceled in the morning (just two of us). Apparently his wife was ill (she has a disability) and he couldn't leave her side (nothing to do with partying, sleeping in ,etc). The course didn't care and try showing their sympathy by offering a voucher (my friend is from out of town). Be careful because customer service isn't their care, it's just about cashing in on those expensive green fees. read more

The good: for $40 it's well worth it. Good views, fairways were in great shape. Water stations every 4/5 holes. The Bad: greens were rock hard and had an appearance of being over dry, (I hit a towering 9 iron 150 yards and left no divot) tee boxes were extra fluffy. There was also no beverage cart on the course. I know courses are prepping for winter grass but there also seemed to be maintenance guys on every hole. Kinda distracting. Overall: course is fun and challenging, but there are better options read more
