20$ for a great horse pinata!!!! My quest for a hard to find horse pinata continues! At the end of the day this is the best option. The horse pinata here was just about the nicest and there were two to choose from. This pinata was of good size. About the average size of quality pinatas. They only cost 5$ more than the nicest pinata in the "Mexican fiesta district" on Olympic. But the nicest one there looked like a mutant "Pokey"...it was square. Basically, it was a pinata that was put together with little attention to detail. There was a 10$ one elsewhere in the "fiesta district" but it was much smaller and awful looking and the store owner did not speak Spanish so I guess it was imported from Europe or the Middle East haha!!!! There is a good amount of pinatas here. Some are sun bleached but I am sure the store owner can order a nice new one for you. This place also helps you with other party needs and rentals. Parking is no problem here unlike at the "fiesta district" where you may be unlucky and have to pay at least 3$ for parking....which may make it less cost effective...all depends on the time of day you come here.... Problem is that this place is not too close to freeways. One reason this place did not get 5 stars besides the fact the lady didn't really want to bring down the horse pinata for me. Not great customer service, though she did spend time talking to me about the pinata industry, but then again she kind of blew me off when another customer came and after it was clear I was not going to buy the pinata this day. If you really want to get a really great pinata come here. If you want "cheap" go to the "fiesta district". It all depends on how much you like your kid! read more

Las Pinatas. Is a goto love for any party! Rosalie is very nice and professional. I called her Monday before my party (due to a huge Pinata mix up at a previous place) with my finger crossed that she would help me due to such a short notice. I couldn't get in touch with her, but Come Tuesday morning she returned my call first thing in the morning. I had called other places and they were looking to charge me 55$ for a Harry Potter, and 45$ for a owl. When I explained to Rosalie what I wanted she said she would give me a call back with in the hour, and she did. I sent her pictures of the Pinatas I was looking for and she told me she could do it.. (And the price was AMAZING) I made a over the phone deposit and she said she would give me a call or text when they were ready.. Friday morning they were ready so I drive down to pick them up.. When I seen them I was amazed they were huge! Bigger then I thought they were gonna be.. I couldn't be happier, Rosalie was even nicer on Person! (It so much easier working with someone who is so polite and nice) when my niece seen them Saturday she was IN LOVE! She was so happy to see Harry Potter Pinata at her party (since it had to be custom made). Not only were they very nice, the kids could not break them! They said is this a trick Pinata that never breaks lol! All in all.. I definitely will be coming back to Las Pinatas, all will recommend them to anyone who needs Pinatas! Came by the shop...It was closed on Monday...Called...Had a conversation with the owner...Stopped by on Tuesday...Really needed a Combo Jumper for the kids...got one...needed a piñata...ended up getting 2 of them...The star piñata was real tough for the kiddies...but they had a blast...they also make custom pinatas...nice...I eventually ended up renting some much needed chairs and tables too...Delivery was there earlier than expected...but I like early...Will be back soon for sure. THE SERVICE IS BAD AND THE STAFF ARE RUDE!!!! The pinatas from this place were trash. After one hit the metal wire fell off and it wasn't even full. The bouncer was even worse i wanna say about ever 15 min it keep falling down and it felt like it wasn't full!!! And then to top it of when we called for them to come check it out and fix it. The owner drove over only to tell us that we set it up wrong and it was our faults that it kept falling . WHAT !!!!! so when we called back the lady answered, she was very rude telling us that there was nothing she can do about her jumper and she continued arguing with me about how it was our fault that there jumper didn't stay up. Yeah. Just called this place to rent out a canopy and they didn't want to rent it to me for this Saturday. The lady on the phone was just quick to say no because it's just one canopy for one table (not good business I guess?) and since it's going to rain Saturday she doesn't want to rent it to me. I was already annoyed at her for not wanting to rent me my canopy because I've been calling everyday for a week looking for a good canopy and the one I found doesn't want to rent one to me. First let me say that I'm a white female and I have children with a Mexican so my kids are bicultural. I called this place today to try to order a Pinata for my daughter who is turning 6. The woman who answered the phone was very rude. I have not ordered many Pinata's is in my life as a white female so I had a few questions. This woman was not helpful with addressing my concerns. She was rude and impatient and she expected me to know exactly what I wanted when I hadn't done this before. I suppose this business probably has enough clientele not to really need my business, but I can't help feel that she made a mistake considering that I frequently have parties for my children as does my family. I immediately called another place in Long Beach and gave my business to them. Not my loss. There are too many of these businesses around these days to accept treatment like this. I Cannot tell you how rude she was. I was calling from the salon while getting my hair done and even my hairdresser could sense that she was unhelpful.
