This is my tried and true staple, dating back to the 90's!! I LOVE this place. No matter the location, they are always consistent, portions are large and drinks are strong. I love their atmosphere and everyone is always so nice and kind. The two I frequent the most are Rivergate, and Hermitage. Their prices are amazing and their To-Go is always fast and hot. read more

We had an amazing lunch today at las palmas. We really like this place and don't get to go too much, but that makes it tastes that much better. The server was very friendly and intuitive to our needs, drinks, extra chips/ salsa, check. The restaurant wasn't crowded yet but we got there fairly early for lunch. Love the real plants they have all over the interior. read more

The food was good, but definitely not quite as good as any other Las Palmas I've been to. It took about ten minutes to get food or drinks after I sat down. Then I never saw a server again until I was finished. She whisked the plate away with no words and came back with a bill. No one ever asked how the food was or if I wanted another drink or anything. The restaurant was pretty dead, so they couldn't have been too busy. I've been in food service for 18 years. I would be ashamed if my restaurant ran that poorly. read more

Great Food. Services is great. We have gone several times with 15 - 25 people, they always accommodate a large group with the same quality of food and service read more

Very bland food. I ordered the quac (appetizer) & a chicken quesadilla (entre). The quac was prepared very well, it just lacked any flavor. So we doused it with an incredible amount of salt. The chips were stale. The quesadilla was delivered without any slices, so I couldn't even eat it like a normal human (aka extremely difficult/messy). It was also filled with watered down refried beans, which turned it into a slip n slide of a quesadilla that became unrecognizable. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. Not upscale but very nice. Atmosphere is large, inclusive with lots of staff. Servers are everywhere and arrive quickly, like the food. Plenty of tvs, open areas and quieter spaces. Great for dates, families kids and groups. Always check their specials, pretty tempting. There is Not a bar; repeat, not a bar- but the drinks are good. Note: only had a few and can not get passed the frozen strawberry margarita! Prices are reasonable even without the specials. read more

This was my go-to restaurant. My favorite. But no more. The last two times I went, the food was subpar. Have you EVER ordered steak fajitas and the platter come out NOT sizzling? Yep. That was the final straw. read more

The food was excellent. The service was excellent and given with a smile. The service was fast. The bathrooms were so clean. The floor was almost slippery. I can't find one bad thing to say about this location. And just because this were saved twice the food was excellent. read more

Great food! Great service! We visited Nashville and stayed nearby so we decided to try this place because we love Mexican food. Wish we had tried it earlier in our stay- we would've been back!! Muy delicioso! read more

Food was good. Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance was okay. Would visit again--definitely recommend.

This has been my go to Mexican restaurant and it was again last night (10/15/21). I am quite disappointed lately with substandard food and service. Last night I received stale chips with my salsa and asked for a replacement tray of chips. I got a replacement and they were just as bad. To be honest, I start with the chips and salsa (the salsa is always good) but that decline is absolutely unacceptable. read more

I have been here twice and each time the food has been underwhelming. I have heard great reviews from the locals, but I must be missing something. I didn't write my review after my first visit in hopes that the second would be better, but I think this place may need better cooks? The service is phenomenal each time that I can attest to. Unfortunately, the food is extremely bland and lacks flavor. The portion is decent and worth it for the price, but I don't want a full plate mixed with food that fills but doesn't satisfy. Once they get that part right, this place will be perfect. read more

This is a well-managed chain, and they have always treated us well. I feel at home here. The decor is nice, the food is fresh, the servers are attentive, and there are frequent birthday parties. I love them. read more

It was pouring down rain and we were hungry and rather than drive all the way to Mt. Juliet to our favorite Mexican restaurant we stopped here. Should have taken the drive. While the staff was very nice the food was not. The chips were stale and cold. My hubby got the tacos and I got a taco salad with ground beef. They gave me chicken which I detest. The second try was limp lettuce with a very stale taco bowl and the taco shells on hubby's dish were also stale. We could never get a refill of water, but the nice thing the beer was cold. read more

This is our second Mexican go-to place simply for the food. The staff is friendly, but once you get your order, we have noticed they like to disappear for a while, but the last time we went, we had a great waitress that checked in with us when needed, which was great. I'm very picky with Mexican food, but I like the enchiladas here, and my son loves the quesadillas. There is something here for everyone; the building is huge, so I'm sure they get busy on the weekends, and the place fills up, but we usually go during the week when it's less crowded. My #1 go-to Mexican place is about 30 min from our house, so we go here when we don't feel like driving. read more

Great place for a brunch, lunch or dinner! Easy going atmosphere and fantastic servers. Two of us did the make your own tacos and they were FANTASTIC. I got the mango sauce and it was a good pairing with a spicy taco. Couple that with a mango margarita and . It pairs very well with the tequila so it's not two different tastes at once, but one seamless experience. There are plenty of choices for all eaters or even the pickiest of them all. The salsa portion should be a teeny bit deeper because some of us love loading our chips with lots of salsa so it creates a bigger ratio of chips to salsa. read more

I placed an online order and paid $50 including a generous tip, and when we showed up to pick it up the restaurant was closed despite their online listing saying they are open and the website telling us to be there at that time to get our food. When I spoke with manager, Yovanni, two hours later to get my money back he laughed and said it's my fault but luckily he's hungry and will be happily eating my food. He then proceeded to yell at me as I requested to know when I would be getting my money back and hung up on me when I asked for an apology. When I called back, he repeated all this again. read more

This place has it all let me tell you. My roommate and I are always on the hunt for good Mexican food and have tried most places in the area. We are kicking ourselves that it took us this long to try Las Palmas! Our server Emmanuel was incredibly attentive and so patient with our many questions. We ate our weight in cheese dip and salsa and we thought they were both great. We both enjoyed our entrees as well and everything was so good we decided to try the churros and they were killer as well! 10/10 in our book! We will be back! read more

Looking through the reviews. I'm surprised to even see a 1 star review. Me and my husband LOVE las palmas. We've been to nearly every location in Nashville and we've NEVER been disappointed. Each location is consistent. The food is always fresh, margaritas are top tier, and the employees are always nice . I can recall one out of the many times we visited....We had a bit of delayed service (slow service) but it was also super busy and we knew that their service wasn't always that way...so we gave it a pass. I highly recommend. My fave location is the one off of Hayes. We love sitting in the open glass area, if you want to bypass waiting in line/waiting list... the Antioch location is never really busy. read more

The service was good but the food was HORRIBLE. I think it's just this location that is bad. All the food was overcooked and had no flavor but salt, it was like a white person who never had Mexican food and only saw it in movies cooked it. read more

This is now Las Palmas. $8 for a tiny ass "chimichanga"? The food came out 3 minutes after we ordered it during a busy lunch hour. Clearly it was fresh and made to order... On a less scathing note, I pulled out some of the chicken that was inside and it was dry as could be with hard, burnt ends. In all honesty it tasted pretty good amidst the goop, beans and guaq, but that tiny lil' thang ain't worth $8 even if the chicken was cooked to order. read more

This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Donelson-Hermitage area, but the last few times I've come for dinner and ordered my go-to ($15+ chicken fajitas), the entrée portion sizes have been equal to other restaurant's "lunch portion". I've come here for dinner hundreds of times, but I won't be coming back again. read more

We used to eat here a few years ago. It was an OK joint. Then shrinkflation apparently.... We made the mistake of returning Sunday for lunch. Grabbed the Speedy. Menu only said "lettuce" as I don't like a lot of veg on my tacos - meat and cheese and salsa ftw! The wife said "hol up 3 bucks for a drink?" "Ok waters it is" - as no coke off tap is worth these 3 dollar highway robbery prices. Maybe the food is still good, but I quickly learned NOPE. There was probably less than a teaspoon of "shredded pork" on this incredibly lack-luster taco. They were like "let us get you a new plate" - no I dont want any more of this food.. I just want to leave. The waitresses doesnt want to respect my wishes to not eat this trash and brings out another plate, despite me asking her not to (this was probably so they could charge and not comp - and I wasn't even out for a comp, but they probably felt they had to if they didn't offer a new plate of the same garbage...) I just want to forget that I ever had to experience this and never go back. read more

I just left without eating my food. That was the worst "Mexican" food I've ever had and I thought Chuys was bad. I was given ice cold Street Corn, burnt and greasy queso fundido and a cardboard flavored taco. I knew when I was told there wasn't a bar, but I could order alcohol, that was a sign to not even bother ordering. I had a bite of each and asked for my tab. I've been a bartender and chef for years, and I am upset that I just spent $23 plus tip on dumpster food. I wouldn't feed the food to a stray dog. read more

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a great meal here on our last night in Nashville. I think this used to be his regular place for Mexican when he was living in Nashville. It's pretty close to his family's home, so it's easy to get to. We really enjoyed our meal here when we came for dinner. It was getting pretty late, so we were able to enjoy a late dinner without a big crowd of people or a long wait to be seated. We were seated right away when we arrived. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed for our meal. The food was pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant. There wasn't really anything I could say was very different from any other. I can't ever really choose any standouts, but it was still very good and a great meal. I still very much enjoyed my meal and would go back the next time we visit Nashville. read more

I am so disappointed in this spot! We used to LOVE it here but it is not even the same place anymore. As soon as we sat down our waiter asked if we needed a minute to choose what we wanted.. we did and he acted offended the rest of the time and would not even come back to take our order!!! Someone else had to come take our order than no one helped us the rest of the time. The food was meh. HORRIBLE service. read more

Another of the Las Palmas locations in Nashville. I wish I could say something about them was spectacular, but neither can I say anything about it that is terrible. I've been here a few times and never left disappointed, but it doesn't exactly call me back either. It's more like a comfortable pair of pants that you know will always fit, but doesn't exactly flatter your figure. If you are looking for impressive Mexican food you won't find it here, but I doubt you'll leave disappointed either. read more

Being raised Hispanic and living in a largely Hispanic environment most my life. This is the spot right here. I've found it hard living my culture within Nashville and enjoying some good mexican dishes because there isn't much good stuff around. But let me tell you. This place right here so dang good and took me back through memories of my before nashville life. The food is amazing, the staff are great, and it made me feel right at home. Will definitely be coming frequently! Heck if you guys ever need a part time bartender I would love to work here! read more

Ever regret paying for a meal??? I have been here three times in the last 2 months since moving into the neighborhood. The first two times were not terrible but certainly not great. After my meal there today I will never return. I ordered fajitas, which is a pretty simple dish. Absolutely disgusting! The tortillas were as though they had been laying around as if they had fallen behind the freezer. They found them and wrapped them in foil to bring to my table. The meat was dry and tasteless. I never write negative reviews but this meal was so bad that, 3 hours later, I cannot help but make public my experience. Nasty, nasty food. read more

Be careful paying with a credit card. They will over charge you or charge you more than once. Definitely keep your receipts. Unbelievable.

We came for lunch after church today as this is one of our favorite Mexican places. We were a little later so we knew it would be busy and it was. We were still seated right away and chips/salsa and drink orders were taken right away. Our server Jesus was awesome! He was quick, made sure we had everything we needed, refilled our chips without asking and you could tell he was taking care of all his busy tables the same way. Food was delicious as usual and we were very appreciative of Jesus for such great service during their lunch rush. read more
