Grand burrito with vegetables instead of meat

Been trying new restaurants when we can, and wondered about Las Margaritas based on mixed reviews. Our experience is that the old poor reviews are not today's reality! The prices are very reasonable, the staff are friendly, attentive and helpful, and the portions for us were big! This pic gives perspective on the size of the burrito compared to my fork! Wow! Delicious food, clean facility, and it wasn't too busy when we were there thanks to some serious rain. We'll be back with friends!

Everyone got served except me. See review

The bald guy at the register is a prick. Told him what was wrong with our food and he said to leave and never come back.

I decided to get the waffles that were topped with fresh bananas, blueberries, whipped cream, with a drizzle. What made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend a visit!

The space is tight but at least it is all angled making getting into and out of the spaces much easier. I did not notice any handicapped spaces but the lot is small and paved so travel is pretty easy. There are several signs on the exterior wall cautioning to lock your vehicle as they are not responsible for stolen items but nothing appeared nefarious. Seating is a combination of booths and tables plus several stools along the counter to the right. We seated ourselves and the server came by quickly for our drink orders and dropped off the menu. The menu is pretty extensive with many options as well as the ability customize anything. We decided on the Cleveland special and the Western omelet. With a cup of coffee, this came to about $24. The food took about 10 minutes to arrive. The first thing noticed is the biscuits are huge. They are easily the size of a saucer. They are a bit crumbly but that makes them great for covering in gravy. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the gravy was very good, and the sausage appears to be locally sourced. The omelet was also huge and completely filled. The veggies were sautéed perfectly and made for a great meal. The service was just fine but could have been better. I had asked if the sausage was locally sourced and the waitress did not know. She never came back to let me know if she had an answer. I had to ask twice for a refill and eventually waved down a different server. We also needed to ask twice for jelly packets. While not terrible by any means, it was unusual for what we expect from these type local restaurants which seem to pride themselves on great service as well as great food. This little diner is a must stop for a great meal. Just have a little patience with the service and you'll be glad you came.

The runners were doing a nice job getting drinks and apps out while the servers were greeting customers and keeping a flow. My triple dipper was nice and hot. I absolutely love the Southwest Egg rolls, they are my favorite part. We also got the Chips and Dips and that was equally enjoyable. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the manager did a great job checking in and greeting customers despite how busy they were. It was apparent the servers take pride in working there and that is good to see.

Our waitress left much to be desired.. waited a long time for her to show to the table and take our drink order.. she apologized for the wait. Then we ordered.. waited again for drinks. A longer than expected time for food when comparing to places like longhorn or Texas Roadhouse which are competition. The food was ok. I forgot they season their steak quite heavily.. this steak was basically eating spice blend. Some enjoy that, to me not so much. I want to taste steak not over seasoned subpar steak. Usually the amount of seasoning on my steak indicates covering very low quality. It wasn't priced low vs competition. We had a child's dinner at the table for medium steak tips. They came out raw to medium. I was not comfortable letting it be consumed. Took quite awhile to get waitresses attention.. and the only offer was to put them back on the grill. I'm not a fan given cooks are usually not pleased with a kicked back steak. This dinner took way too long to get the meals and then the bill. I'm sure someone will say why didn't you talk to the manager.. what manager? One did not make themselves known in the establishment and having to return a child's steak should be prompt enough a boss figure to appear.
