Been trying new restaurants when we can, and wondered about Las Margaritas based on mixed reviews. Our experience is that the old poor reviews are not today's reality! The prices are very reasonable, the staff are friendly, attentive and helpful, and the portions for us were big! This pic gives perspective on the size of the burrito compared to my fork! Wow! Delicious food, clean facility, and it wasn't too busy when we were there thanks to some serious rain. We'll be back with friends! read more

I've had all the Mexican/ Tex mex food that Cleveland has to offer and I think Las Mas might be my favorite now. The food was just great, huge portions. Better quality of the little things that really make the meal, like the guacamole that comes with your food(actual good guac, not just the purée stuff), the salsa, etc. I'm a fan! read more

traveling through Cleveland we stopped here. very poor service. My chicken burrito didn't have much chicken at all. Very disappointing.

Never ever spend your hard earned money to eat here!!!!!!! We first went to Tres Hermanos and had the same aweful experience. We went across the street to this place and they wouldn't even let us through the door. I am a retired military combat service veteran and I was there with my service dog. The owner demanded paperwork to prove she was a service dog. As it's not legally required to have any, I was unable to produce any. He promptly told me and the party I was with we had to leave. We tried to explain the legal requirement and he would not listen, just insisted we leave! There is no legitimate service dog certification or registration in the United States. Some programs will certify the dogs they train and test, and some do not. Those certificates are the only ones that actually mean anything, and they only mean anything if you have to go to court and prove your dog is trained. They are not required, they are merely useful documentation for the dog's training, which could be substantiated by other means. You don't need them for public access, or housing, or flying, or anything else. All other certificates, registration, and ID is fake. The intent is to fool the public into thinking the dog is official, when there is no official documentation for service dogs. Most often, these products are used by fakers, so when you see them, it is a screaming red flag that the dog is not a legitimate service dog. read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!! (First time customer, last time customer.) I ordered a steak burrito and the sever wasn't sure if it would be steak or ground beef, so when she said nothing, I figured nothing. She brought out of wife's food first. My wife finished her large meal and then my mother in law got her meal. I was still sitting when my mother in law finished her meal and then my food came out. The quality wasn't consistent and I'll never come back here again. In the picture you'll see everyone's food but mine on the table. It took over 30 minutes after they served my mother in law to get my food, which then I was the only person left at the table with a full plate of food. read more

The bald guy at the register is a prick. Told him what was wrong with our food and he said to leave and never come back.

I would say that everything on the menu is very average and comparable to the rest of the Mexican restaurants in town. BUT... There is one plate on the menu that is awesome, the enchiladas suizas. Fajita chicken meat, covered in quest and tomatillo sauce. Nice blend of queso and a spicy sauce. By far the best flavor of anything on the menu! read more

Decided to go here because I didn't really want Mexican but boyfriend did and I was in the mood for the Milenesa de Pollo which isn't at La Altena. So there are maybe 3 other tables and 2 waiters when we get there. Our waiter brought us our waters in a timely manner but no straws. So I had to wait about 5-10 minutes while he cleaned two tables to ask him to bring us straws. He brought silverware out after that too because we also didn't have that. Food is horribly inconsistent. I've ordered the same thing the past 5 times I've been here and it's always different! Sometimes it comes with two chicken breasts and sometimes one and there is no lunch/dinner difference. I paid $10 for a single THIN fried chicken breast, a ton of rice (more than half my plate) and a 'salad' of lettuce and pico de gallo. I had asked for no tomatoes which were clearly in the pico on my plate. I did like their chips though. The salsa tastes ok but I don't care for the huge chunks of onion in it. And we never got a single refill on our waters and mine was empty. We also waited a long time for the check, the other waiter had to go tell ours to bring our check. We were also going to get drinks but there were no specials till 4pm. The drinks are dreadfully overpriced. Literally twice the price of La Altena's drinks. $20+ for a pitcher of Margaritas!?! And they want $6 for a single margarita and it's a Mexican place! I left not full and was still hungry. Welcome to my blacklist, not returning to this location. read more

Had a very nice time here on a trip to go white water rafting. The server was obviously a little new, but I appreciated that she asked good clarifying questions rather than serve us something wrong. The food was quite good. I generally don't get things like chalupas, but it looked so yummy with the beef tips. Did not disappoint. HUGE portions for a good price (I'm used to city pricing!) One of our party accidentally left her credit card at the restaurant and the waitress ran out to give it back. THANK YOU!!! read more

I like this mexican restaurant, the ococee location. good food and adequate service, also serves food quick and has special bingo and trivia nights and live music afterwards. i like that you can order nearly everything a la cart because i dont eat rice or beans. they also have mild medium and hot salsas just ask! our toddler always finds bites from our plates he likes because of the variety. shredded chicken nachos are my fav. (dont waste your time across the street at tres hermanos, their food is awful). we now eat at las M often. read more

The food today was terrible. First dish they served to us the chicken was burned - to the point that it was literally black. Sent it back. When they brought back what we assumed would be a fresh made order of Chicken Fajita Nachos, it was actually the same dish with some of the burned chicken removed.
