Food took a very long time. It was just one meal. The young man making the food was moving at the speed of molasses with a sad attitude. Everything seemed filthy and run down. Prices are crazy and portions have gotten smaller. Disappointing. Update: My husband and I recently got soup there one evening, two soups and two salads costs more than our usual dinners at a steak house. I received some gift cards as a Christmas gift. My grandson was visiting and had never had anything from Panera Bread. He saw a soup in my fridge, a PB product bought from Walmart and asked next time he came he wanted to try it. I said why wait. I tried to place our order online for pickup but couldn't pay for it with the cards. I sent my daughter with screenshots of what we wanted which included a free baguette or apple pastry with each meal. What she brought home was awful! Not only did they not have the bread bowls of soup the soups were lukewarm not hot. The $7 half sandwich wouldn't have fed a 7 year old. My daughter was told there wasn't any free bread or apple anything. Instead 3 pieces of partial loaves of bread were simply placed in the bag without being wrapped in any way. As a retired restaurant manager I believe the manager was just trying to empty their shelves before closing. Unfortunately Panera Bread this entire experience has been a disappointment! I've given this particular Panera many chances. In the end, the food has been expensive; service has been slow, employees have seemed annoyed and bored (I could care less about employer attitude either way if the food was actually decent). The food is below average at best and extremely expensive. The pastries have often been dry. The drinks have had little to no flavor. After many attempts, I have not been satisfied by any Panera, and I've been let down by this one in particular. I have tried and tried, but this will be my last try. We love visiting our local Panera Bread location. Everyone is always so friendly and caring. The employees do very well at maintaining COVID policies while also maintaining the level of service we all look for at Panera. Today I ordered a chai latte and a soufflé. The soufflés were still finishing up in the oven so I waited for it in one of the Drive-thru pick up parking spots. I never make it home with what I order, either it's completely the wrong sandwich or anything I ask to leave off is always left on. I am allergic to tomatoes and called the last time I arrived home with tomato on my sandwich, again tonight a sandwich thrown away because tomato on it! At least I had a cup of soup for dinner. In general I really like Panera but this location seems to struggle. Every time I have ordered here my order is incorrect AND has ingredients that have halfway gone bad. I like to customize my salads but have never actually received any of my special requests, even if I pay extra for them ( like extra avocado or extra chicken). I love coming to this particular establishment! The service was impeccable and the workers were absolutely astounding! My favorite experience was when I ordered a bread bowl and I saw a certain chef with dark curly hair bestow a kiss (a very passionate one) onto it. I was very confused at first, but as it was served to me, I noticed a bright crimson kiss stain on the rim of the bread bowl. First of all the frontega chicken panini was delicious as was the broccoli cheddar soup. I highly recommend the half a sandwich/soup compo if you visited for lunch. It was the perfect for lunch. I also got the passion papaya green tea awesome!! But the best part of the visit was the amazing service I recieved from michael who took my order. I had never been to this Panera before so I was completely overwhelmed by the menu. I knew i wanted a soup and sandwich combo. Michael was patient and offered great options. He showed me where on the menu to look for my options. He was very friendly, attentive and didn't rush me. He gave me time to think about what I wanted and didnt make me feel pressured to hurry up. He immediately greet me when I got to the counter was very courteous and thank me at the end of my order. Thank you michael very making this a very nice first visit to the Panera Bread in cleveland tn. Side note: the place is very spacious and has two separate dining areas. On April 20th 2021 I ordered an iced coffee for curbside pick-up. I waited 30 minutes and did not get my order. For the next 40 days I was unable to place a curbside order because the app always said currently unavailable. On june 1st and June 8th I waited at least 10 minutes both times for my curbside iced coffee orders before I went in to ask for them. Both times my order was not made and I had to wait for a cashier. Panera bread as a chain is typically an enjoyable place to get a soup and salad or sandwich. Because we were traveling in an air-conditioned car that day, all of us were chilled and decided to go for one of the soups. That day we had potato soup, broccoli cheese soup, onion soup, and vegetable soup. All of us enjoyed our meal thoroughly and the yummy iced tea beverages (hibiscus tea). We were promptly served by a friendly employee. I had the Spicy Thai salad that was enjoyable but a little heavy on the dressing. Next time, I'll order it on the side. The half-portions are plentiful for most of us other than my teen son. We enjoyed covered outdoor seating, as it was a nice day. They also had plenty of indoor seating. Great for families. read more

They have free WiFi without a password. Just bring in your IPhone or IPad etc and go to settings of course and log in and accept terms of their service. Now, it is the simple truth: this is a coffee shop to me. They have lots of regulars who come in and stay for hours and drink nothing but coffee especially Lee University students and working professionals like myself. One important customer service is that they have free refills on coffee that is self serve. I usually stay about an hour to an hour and a half until I get caffeine up then go to work. However, today I also got sugared up which is unusual for me. They have expanded this location recently by adding an outside covered heated patio. The walls are mostly plate windows so the sun shines through. This makes for a perfect morning with coffee. On the outside is totally outside seating for when it is warmer. menu items ordered: hazelnut coffee and a pecan braid. The coffee was so good I had to go back for a refill. The pecan braid taste like a cinnamon roll except it has pecan bits in it. My advice is to tell them to heat it up a little before finding you a seat. In summary, sit in the new outside covered patio in the morning with your coffee. It's so pleasant and enjoyable yet quiet. Overall, great coffee shop if you ask me. read more

Something is either always left off or is incorrect- strawberry poppyseed chicken salad- no chicken? They also run out of stuff frequently- no regular cream cheese at 8:30 am? They seem to have a high turnover rate of people that work there but there is one consistent guy that is an asset to the company. The soup was really good, it always is. The sandwich shocked me: I had no clue they made such a good, crisp Italian! It was pretty vinegary, which was fine by me. But the texture of it was nice and unlike what I've had from other places. It was unique and I would love to have it again. OH and this location has a drivethrough. I've never seen that at a Panera! The three stars is for the utter disappoint upon finding out my worst fears of here were realized; no bread bowl. I can't stress this enough.
