Quick and delicious, I loved the assortment of toppings, and some that were uniquely regional such as jamon and peppers

Came here after feeling unhappy with dinner at Sagardi.. This place is yummy.. If you like fries.. Nice hot crunchy fries and added little chillies with some aoili drenched.. About 6.50 euro. Well worth it.. I would definitely come here and try some other toppings.

Fries where crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside.,.... so tasty.

Heading to sagrada familia and saw the fry cones and we just had to stop. We ordered just plain fries with to caña beers. The fries where crispy on the outside and soft and hot on inside, they served with a bunch of different topics, so those looked fun. The beer well I have not had bad beer in Spain yet so that was great and all under 10 Euros. Got a spot near by fountain to eat and watched people eyeball our fries. If we come back we will try the fries with over easy eggs in top that look awesome.

Caña, small fries, and dipping sauce (behind the beer)

Fries are well salted, but they charge extra (not much) for sauce. My fries came out warm, but not hot despite seeing them frying up a bunch if them. Also they had beer, which was good. A little pricey for a small fries and beer with sauce (€6,40), but good if you just want a quick snack!

Omgggg these fries are soooo f***ing GOOD! La fritas sauce is Dutch mayo and it's soooo fucking good. Salas Rosa as well (ketchup mayo mix) 100% recommend! And cheap! 5,80€ for a small with 2 sauces and a coke.

Incredible value. Fast, fresh food. It doesn't get much better than this. If you spend any time in Barcelona, you'll have lots and lots and lots of opportunities to eat patatas bravas. They come in wildly varying qualities. But Las Fritas gives you the opportunity to watch the potatoes fried right in front of you, delivered with lots of different toppings and sauces. You know how you'll often pre-game at home before going to a bar or restaurant? You should seriously consider pre-gaming with Las Fritas before sitting down to dinner. The fries you get at Las Fritas are fresh, cheap, and delicious. You'll fill up a little. Then, when you sit down to your legit dinner, you'll spend less because your stomach is now standing room only. Whether you're supplementing a meal you'll have later or grabbing a drunken late night snack, Las Fritas is a marvelous option. Get those fries!

I was in Barcelona when i came across this restaurant... Fries, nothing but fries and the best i have EVER had. Being Celiac i usually can't have fries as they have other things they fry in the same oil that contains gluten. I was ecstatic when i saw this place and after tasting them i was in heaven. There's many sauces and toppings to add, absolutely must try if you like fries... #BCN #Fries #GlutenFree #Amazing

Batatas fritas 1 with ham other with sausage

This place has over 10 toppings to choose from to add to your papas. I chose sausage but wasn't much of a fan so I switched over to the ham and OH MY GOD! The ham had a nice salty taSte to it and was cut thinly which went perfect with me fries. I ate them all! They also have beer on tap available both small and large pints. They have a seating area as well in the back. Not pricey at all!

Awesome place to get legit French fries in Spain! They fry it right in front of you fresh then toss it in whatever toppling you want (extra charge). I usually get a pequeno fries with extra pepper €2.50 and that's enough for two! So bomb!

Small with aioli sauce
Ping F.

Omg the size small was so big that I thought I had ordered the wrong size at first. The fries were mostly short and stubby, lightly fried so that it wasn't dry but had a crispy shell. The aioli sauce was perfect, gloopy, but garlicky and not overwhelming. It was a good snack to take on the go while walking around the gothic quarter.

Nice fresh and thick cut fries, perfect for a snack as you're strolling around the neighborhood. We got the small size to share between two and it was a good amount. For 1.60€ you could add some toppings. We did the queso as we thought it would be easy to eat but unfortunately it just clumped together as it was fresh melted cheese and not a cheese sauce. I could've done with a bit more salt and pepper as well, but overall you can't go wrong with frites!

large bucket of fries topped with cheese

If you're looking for a food coma, this is the place to go. Definitely one of the best places to stop for some cheesy carbs. I decided to go for the large bucket of fries topped with "2 queso cheese." There are a lot of great little snack shops in Barcelona but this one might just be my favorite (I did 5 days of exploring/eating in every corner of the city). There's another location closer to the beach but this one had indoor seating and I was exhausted from wandering the city.

Plain, simple and perfect. Chips and beer. The only choice is toppings and dips. Great snack during siesta.

Not the caramel- the chocolate one. I didn't try that. But the chocolate cheesecake was absolutely amazing. La Cehtral has a wonderful hip vibe to it, the people coming in are always happy, and they seem to leave very satisfied. Nicki, our waitress, doesn't serve in a pure function as a waitress because you order and pay online, or your order with golf pencils and a Spanish or English menu. But I would recommend you use the QR code, because it gives you a few more options, like cooking the burger medium or well, and things like adding an egg are included online. I don't know if you have the ability to use the picture I posted here of the QR code, but that would allow you to look at the menu and see the current prices. But be careful not to order unless you're sitting in the restaurant - understand that the QR code is keyed to that wood block, which in this case has the number three on it and that's what she uses to deliver the food to your table.

The workers spoke English and gave us multiple ways to order. The burgers themselves were different than what we're used to in America, but were delicious, and the fries were fantastic. I would pass on the onion rings though. Overall, a great change of pace if you're tired of tapas when in Barcelona.

We needed to find a quick place to eat as it was noon and we were just starting the touring day…read more Recovery was needed after walking over 7 miles yesterday! Tiny place with friendly service. Asian street food is always fast and this place echoed that. Fast is not always the best for a culinary experience but the food was good. More energy to walk!

We had been to a food market on Les Rambles and had enjoyed great oysters at a few stalls, but we…read morewere saving ourselves for something different but didn't know what. The food market was uncomfortably packed with tourists and we contributed to this, it also had a mild sewage 3rd world whiff and at 34c it wasn't pleasant. The last time I got a pong like this was in Bangkok. I've no doubt we've also contributed to the fact that the price for food here has gone up noticeably, but not as exponentially as it will over the next few months if politicians aren't brave enough to cap energy price hikes amid obscene oil company profit scouring. Please don't hold any collective breath waiting on politicians of integrity. So we pulled out of the pongy crowded market and ambled the Rambles. Then the smell hit, pinched our noses and we were pleased. Garlic & chilli hit. And we just knew it was right on. So we followed our noses. We could see the wok master at his pyromaniac work from outside this small narrow place. A not enough room to swing a cat space. Mind you I can't think why anyone would want to treat a cat so. It was full of 20 and 30 somethings both those dining and those cooking. Intense gas heat, high flame, thin steel = little oil, rapid stir fry cooking of thin cut meats, vegetables and proper spice balance. Perfection. So the price is structured. I opted for thin noodles rather than rice, chicken as protein, cashew nuts for delicious texture, oyster mushrooms and beansprouts for taste and, of course, chilli spice. They add white onions, carrots and greens at no extra charge but I did say to go heavy on the fresh coriander at the end and they did. From start to paper carton it was a few brief minutes. €14.20 (£12.) and the serving was enough for two. 3 green stars. Wooden forks, spoons and paper tissues on site with narrow uncomfortable seating but great fresh cooked, hot tasty food. The oyster mushrooms and cashews sure pushed up the price but it was worth every cent particularly the cashews and honestly we didn't need the chicken. I noted that we passed many places offering all manner of paella - meat, fish, vegetarian but no smell not a whiff of garlic, frying onion so I avoid as I'm cynical enough to think it's pre frozen and microwaved food.
