They didn't have a menu out front but I walked in anyway…read more
To start, we were given drinks. I have no idea what flavor they were supposed to be. It was a little thick and it had tiny seeds floating in it (sort of like strawberry seeds). I enjoyed it.
We were asked if we wanted sopa (soup) or ensalada (salad). I got the soup and my boyfriend got the salad. The soup was a little oily and bland. It was red broth with bow tie noodles. I needed to add a lot of salt to it. The salad looked good. It had a lot of carrots on it. Also, it had coconut, which was unexpected. I'm glad that I got the soup though.
For the entree, I got the pollo barbacoa and my boyfriend ordered the tacos. We were given four options to pick from.
The sauce for the chicken was good and it also included rice and vegetables.
For dessert, we were given a small plate with sliced carrots, raisins, and cream. It was super weird and not my thing. I don't like carrots though. My boyfriend thought it tasted like cake frosting.
