Over the years, I have lived in many cities and I have gone to lots of dentists. After a second attempt to find the right dentist in Las Cruces I found Dental Solutions. I have been going there for over 2 years. My dentist is Dr. Gabriel Trujillo who is very knowledgeable and professional in his field. In general this office is well run, very knowledgeable and polite team, impeccable sanitation, top notch technology. They have done for me crowns and a mouth guard on site among other dental work. I have recommended to friends and their experience has been excellent as well. On my way out, I also enjoy their coffee available in the lobby area. During my last visit, camera crew was taking some videos and photos of the practice so I was able to take a few during this time for this review. read more

I paid a $500 deposit, in September, for a mouth piece for sleep apnea. Took forever for the appliance to come in and once it did it couldn't be adjusted to fit. It was sent back to the lab and after another wait, and second attempt, it still could not be fit. They offered to send it back for a third time but I asked to have it canceled and asked for a refund. I was told they had invested time in my appointments and would not refund any of the deposit. After four months I walked away without an appliance or a refund. Would not recommend this practice. read more

I was reading a lot of the reviews, some not so great, so I thought I would tell my sad story. The place is clean and neat, the personal is nice and friendly, my grip is the quality of work. I have wore dentures for over 30 plus years, finally got up the nerve to go get new ones. The process was actually longer than I expected, between having to do impressions 3 different times, to the ill fitting dentures, and adjustments on a regular basis. After a year of adjustments I still don't have a comfortable pair, they don't fit right, even after relining, they are loose, hurt my mouth, and don't look right. I have been going almost every 2 weeks for an adjustment of one kind or another over the past year, and I seriously thought they would have solved my problem and fit by now. I have wore dentures long enough to know how they are suppose to fit and feel. I never had this much problems with my first set, and was really looking forward to having my smile back. I am not satisfied with the amount of time it is taking to get the proper fit. I didn't pay this pretty penny to be so discouraged, and disappointed. I have trouble eating, the teeth don't stay in place, my mouth is constantly sore, because they don't fit right, and I can not afford any other procedure to make them work. I know what I could eat and how they should feel. I can say I am not happy and I expected better after personal praise for their work and finished results from one of the guys my husband works with. Met with dental assistant Chris and Dr. Matthew Peterson. I'm in New Mexico visiting family and my toothache has me in tears so desperate I found a dentist willing to take me on short notice. Dr. Peterson was extremely thorough and very caring. He was able to pinpoint the cause of the problem and clearly explain why it was feeling the way it is. As I am from out of state I decided to go back home to see an endodontist in LA. He prescribed the necessary meds for the infection and gave the referral for a root canal. This is the worst, most poorly organized, dirty dental practice I've ever in countered. From top to bottom they are a surly , disrespectful and untrustworthy. They plan, in great detail, how a visit will go. Then you arrive at the appointed time and nothing is as promised. If you complain that they are not keeping their contractual agreements the patient is told they have to leave. That may be a solution for dental solutions, but not most patients. They are also extremely veteran antagonistic. They don't care what we've been through, we're just a revenue stream for them.They believe communication is everyone's responsibility, but communication is not their priority. Y'know, I used to have nothing but great things to say about this place but after Dr. Mackey left, the quality of their work has dropped. The staff are still super friendly and calming but my husband and I have had nothing but issues with the work. I needed a crown. Placement of the temp left me with a thumb sized chemical burn on the inside of my lip. Temp held for two days and I had to go back for a redo. Crown took forever to arrive. My husband had a filling done last week. Tropp flew the filling and now we have to go back today to have it fixed because my husband is in pain and the filling is incomplete. We live an hour away. Its ridiculous! It used to be worth the drive. Not so much any more. ETA: Guess who had to go back this past Monday for ANOTHER redo? Yep. ETA 2: We have gone back repeatedly for my husband's filling. They filed and buffed it several times (each time making one thing or another worse), insisting that he was just "overly sensitive" and that it would "go away in time". Fast forward to today (1/13/18) and guess what? He's still more or less in pain. Normal activity doesnt bother him but if he eats anything crunchy? He's flinching and spending 5 minutes trying to make the pain go away. They'd told us that if he still had issues after a few more months to come back and they'd redo the whole thing. After speaking to a good friend who's a military dentist and complaining about his tooth, my husband refuses to have it redone because apparently any time you do multiple work on the same tooth, theres a good risk of losing the tooth entirely. We had a cleaning scheduled in December, things came up and we rescheduled for this coming Monday. Got a call yesterday from the office that the dentist we insisted on being seen by wouldnt be in the office, in fact the only dentist that would be in would be Tropp. I've complained repeatedly and loudly about the work he did with my husband. HOW they would schedule us and not see ANY of the notes is beyond me. You cannot tell me that you didnt see that the requested dentist didnt work that day. And I am aware that emergencies come up and schedule changes happen last minute, but if that was the case I'm pretty sure they'd say something... every other place I've been to sure does. The office manager has repeatedly apologized in the past to us for everything, they've done their best to make it right, but they just cant seem to. Its a pity too since my original view of the staff - calming and friendly - hasnt changed but dang, son. My husband kept insisting we give them the benefit of the doubt, but at this point even he's done. read more

Called in and to be expected I had to wait 2 days for a appointment the lady that answered was very nice. I explained I lost a front tooth filling or it was cracked. She gave me an appointment for a exam I explained I live 2hrs 45min round trip away and want to get at least the front filling done at the same time. She said to come in that they will take care of it. After going in and doing all the necessary paperwork they said they can do the exam but not the filling. That they had lunch. Unfortunately, they both broke BUT when I called to make an appointment to have them fixed (they broke at different times) I was able to get an appointment the same day and the work was covered under a warranty so I didn't have to pay. I'm very dental-phobic. It's gotten worse over the years. So...when I was in desperate need of dental work I had the added anxiety of judgement hanging over my head because I hadn't been to a dentist in a couple years... Everyone was super nice, and not judgmental at all. I've since seen all 3 dentists, and I liked all of them. I would recommend any of them. My hygienist is also great, and thoughtful. I mentioned that my teeth were sensitive to cold, and she remembered the next time I went in for a cleaning. All told, I'm very happy I made this my new dental office...I just moved to LC, and I'm glad to say I've checked "dentist" off my list of new things I need to find. I have had numerous problems with this company. The office manager think she runs the show and talks down to patients and if you don't agree with her, she tells you to go find another dentist. The person in charge of the dental hygienist, Jenivva talks over you and will NOT let you get a word in. They change your appointments with no regards to you or your family. I have been waiting 4 plus years to get 4 cavities fixed and the dentist ignore them and just cleans your teeth and sends you on your way without taking care of them. When they clean your teeth, they draw blood and you entire mouth is sore and bleeding when they are done. This place has a high turn over ratio with office staff because of the office manager treats them with disrespect. I lose money every time they reschedule my appointments with no regard of what I have to go thru to get that day off and then they get upset with you when you tell them NO. The office manager and Jenivva, the one in charge of hygenist needs to be fired if this office is to remain open. They are both rude and do NOT care about anyone but themselves. The office manager gets mad when you ask to talk to the Dentist in charge or the head dentist and tries to get rid of you so the dentist in charge or head dentist will not find out the way they mistreat customers. The Glowing reviews sounded promising so I called ahead & they said no problem & could we be there between 2-3pm they would get us in! So with the wonderful help of the Travel Centers of America, we were able to drop our oversize load & take the truck to the address ( it was only about 3miles east of the TA). Anyway we arrived there in good time, they got him right in, checked him out thoroughly, give him a "clean bill of health" & 35.00 dollars later we were on our way!! Had been a patient for over 7 years with fairly good service. However, they have gotten carried away with themselves - their way or the highway attitude. They tried to rip me off on a medication I forgot to take - insisted on $10 for an antibiotic that retails for less than 50 cents. I said I'd take my medicine when I got home - Nope, they were having none of it! I love this place. I mean, no one loves going to the dentist, but this is probably the most pleasant experience you could ask for. I hadn't been to the dentist in several years so I was very anxious going in for my exam and cleaning, but the staff, hygienists and Dr. Trujillo were all very kind and took good care of my teeth. I went back earlier this week for some fillings and while that's never a great way to spend your morning, it went quite smoothly. I called them again today because one of the fillings felt high and they had me come in right away and I only waited a few minutes to be seen and have it fixed. Plus, the office is super nice and they played The Great British Bake Off on the TVs in the waiting room AND the treatment room. This place is amazing. My good friend recommended this place even though he lives one hour away. He suggested I go to Dr. Peterson (hope I spelled the name correctly.) I took him up and went. The exam, X-ray and cleaning is about $86 for people with no insurance. Not bad at all. Other places were MUCH more expensive. My initial reaction when I walked in was "this place smells great!" The decor was very.....homey? Idk what word to use but see for yourself. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. It took me back because everybody was so good looking?! I felt I should have dressed up a bit more. Haha... Anyway, I was directed to a computer to check in. Very hi tech. When I was taken to the back I was very impressed. Everything was so chic and the employees acted in such a professional manner. I'm a huge baby when it comes to do with my teeth. I get nervous, anxious, and sensitive. The Hygienist was so patient and very social. Then the Dr came over (even though he was busy). He sat down, gave me suggestions, had small talk with me. Everything the employee did on her personal computer, it would appear on another screen that was exclusive for guests. I had to get in quick when my wisdom tooth cracked. They were able to get me in for an emergency visit two and a half hours later. They have some new equipment I've never seen before in a dentist office. I had to get two wisdom teeth pulled that same visit. They were able to do it right there with a local anesthetic, no crazy drugs that make you super loopy, and it was fast and painless. Minimum bleading, no bruising, no swelling, everything came out really clean. Overall, the atmosphere is really nice, they have water, tea, and fresh bakes cookies in the waitingroom. My favorite thing is that they are reducing their paper consumption by having you fill out the intake forum on a computer. read more
