Manager Omar Does a great job Customer service is very nice Friendly staff Delicious plates with wonderful taste and colors

Sorry about the crappy pic. Food was great.

Great Covid-19 procedures: temperature taken and hand sanitizer at the door. Each mug, and utensils are covered with clingy wrap and is only taken off by customer. Excellent service and very friendly staff, all are bilingual. I always forget to take pics so please excuse our finished plates. We had the machaca breakfast special and chilaquiles which was just what we needed after a hangover. Food is good, complementary hotcakes for both of us. This was our second morning eating here, we came back due to excellent service. Paid $25 USD for two breakfasts including two plates, two coffees, toast, mimosa.

Just eggs and bacon. Served with tortillas or toast and refried beans. Good but nothing special.

We were staying at a hotel across the street and needed coffee fast. Las Bugambilias opens at 7am and gives a discount for those staying at the hotel. But beware-it is more than what show on the menu. The restaurant is very elegant looking but the prices seem reasonable. The service is excellent with your server very professional and friendly. I ordered Eggs Ranchero which is eggs on fried tortillas and served in a only slightly spicy sauce and came with refried beans. It was ok but not the best that I've had. My husband had bacon and eggs that came with potatoes, toast and refried beans. Also, just good. I also ordered a green juice though that was refreshing and tasty. After ordering all that food, they bring out a basket of pan dulce which are wonderful pastries that are delicious and not too sweet. They are NOT complementary though-they charged for each one eaten. They don't tell you until you get your bill. Then our server, Fernando, brought out 2 sopes with refried beans, crema and cotija cheese. They were good but I'm not a fan of sopes. These were complimentary. There was a slight issue with the bill. It was more than it should have been because they charged for the breads. We know now and won't make that mistake again. Lots of other places in the area to try.

This is the place to go if you are in Ensenada. Not only is the staff friendly and welcoming but as well the taste of the dishes are so delicious! 10/10 recommend. Great pairing of wines with dishes & depending on what dish you get they even cook it right in front of you. Try the garlic shrimp, you won't regret it.

Yummy breakfast!!!!! Fresh orange juice, complimentary pan dulce, delicious speciality breakfast dishes, and pretty outdoor eating area. This restaurant is next to el Cortez motel, it is clean and friendly and also has good prices :)

BEST YELP FIND on my trip to Ensenada. Def worth the drive into the more residential area (about 10…read moreminutes from downtown Ensenada). It looked like there was some of a wait time, but it turned out they did have a table for 2 available. The wait time is mostly for large parties. If you do come with a large party they have seating in the back just note it will take awhile. By large I mean 11 people (2 parties of 11 people showed up when I was there). The food. So many yummy options I had a hard time picking. I ended up ordering the combination plate as it included a little bit of everything: your choice of either green or red chilaquiles, machaca (shredded beef not the dry one), egg, beans and some fries. I also ordered fresh orange juice as I can't say no to fresh juices. I ATE EVERYTHING! It was so good I couldn't stop eating even when I knew I was full LOL. Side note def get the coffee as it is really good. We actually ended up buying the coffee they bought with us called La Negrita and is a couple of minutes away from the restaurant. Plus a local coffee vendor. Staff is super friendly and service is fast (for smaller parties). Place is clean and does have parking in the back. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast. If I am ever back in the area I am definitely coming back!

The…read morerestaurant is an old house that's been perfectly converted into an indoor-outdoor oasis that gives a relaxed but upscale vibe. It gets better, Chef Miguel is crushing it with his take on Baja Med - with handmade pastas and some of the freshest fish you'll find. We started with clean simple cocktails done perfectly and had the black scallop ceviche and the yellowtail sashimi - both super fresh and wonderful starters!! For entrees we had the fish of the day - done to perfection and the black ink seafood pasta - the hand rolled pasta and abundance of shrimp, clams and squid was appreciated...both dishes were amazing but the seafood pasta was a standout in my opinion. Plenty of options in the Ensenada area for seafood but what makes the dishes special to me is the light touch - the sauces let the seafood shine with just the right amount of sublime flavors added...really dig it. I would strongly recommend to anyone in Ensenada or even the Valle to visit Madre, you won't be disappointed. One final note, our server Priscilla was awesome as well, just the right blend of casual and upscale - with real, authentic guidance on questions about each dish, she's an absolute joya. It's a bit of a drive for us from La Mision but I see us making the trek many times to visit Madre in the future - it is that especial.

It's not hard to find, but unlike so any other options, it's not loud or flashy. We weren't ushered in by some guy on the street promising "the best" of anything. It's small, but clean.. you order at the counter.. my wife and I were the only gringos in there, and we don't speak Spanish. We were quickly presented with a sample plate of all the meats available for their tacos. The wife and I each got a Birria taco and I also got a chicken taco with some of the best Mole sauce I've ever had. They had a table set up in back with all the fixings and salsas you could ask for and the tacos came with beans and rice. We grabbed a bottle of water from the cooler, and the whole meal came to $13 with a tip!!! I mean, that's an unbelievable value for your money. The tacos were incredible. The beans and rice were delicious and the corn tortillas were homemade and some of the best we've ever had. The wife and I often use Yelp! to find places exactly like this, and once again, it did not disappoint. If you're in Ensenada do yourself a favor and skip all the hype spots and go find this place for some amazing food at incredible prices!!
