It's filled with a sweet pineapple sauce, cilantro sauce, and think chips but little potato fries for a good crunch. Paired with a pint Malta - it's refreshing and they give these to children in. Being part of the parking structure doesn't mean that they validate your parking. If you can find street parking, definitely do that instead. I had the churassco med-well. It came with two sides, I had the tostones and salad. It was alright, but I definitely had better. I ordered it to eat it there and they put all the sauces in to-go containers, which was weird. The sauces were in such tiny containers, you definitely would need more. My friend got the mushroom arepa and a side of the sweet plantains that she really enjoyed. Service was good. The girl taking our order was super nice and polite. It was more like one step up from fast/food and self-served. You order at the counter and they give you a number for your table and they bring out the food to the table and you clean up after yourself.

We ordered too much thinking portions would be small, they were not. I had a Mofongo with Chicken and a Chicken soup. The soup would have been more than enough because it was delicious and large. The Mofongo with Grilled Chicken was really good and since I had gobbled down the soup took most of it home. I made a Chicken Platano soup with it and we ended up having another whole meal! You know a place is good when people from that country flock there. It was full of Colombians enjoying the food. There is also a bar and tv's everywhere with soccer (yes, futbol) on. If you can make it, do it!

On Saturday night, I was on my home from shopping and driving around with my husband and decided to place a pickup order. We were close to the restaurant, so we knew we had to wait a bit until our order was ready. We got into the parking lot, which was packed and had to park right by the restaurant building while we waited; no problem. Fifteen minutes passed and I got a text that the order was ready. I proceeded inside and went to the bar (pickup bar?). As I got there, I told a server I was there for pickup and told her my name. She told me that my order would be coming out shortly. I waited a few minutes and decided to look at the receipts that were with the orders and did not see my name. There were a few orders that I could not see the name; not even the receipt and I did not want to touch the orders, so I kept waiting. I waited about 16 minutes until another server asked for my name. She looked at the order right in front of me and handed it to me. Ridiculous! The ambiance in the restaurant is very fun, and again, their food is delish, but their pickup process sucks. Sorry, no pictures as I was upset and starving.

You order at a kiosk fast food style, but all of the food is then prepared freshly and authentically. They have a huge menu with all kinds of delicious Latin eats like sandwiches and platters. We absolutely loved our Cuban sammies which came on thick and sweet bread. My kids kept it simple with tenders and fries and also enjoyed! They have a big drink selection and you can find everything from juices to fresh cocktails. The biggest hit was their large indoor screened patio - perfect for my kids to run around. If you want to avoid fast food but also don't feel like taking your kids to a proper sit down restaurant than this is a really great option.

We visited around 3:15pm on a Saturday and ordered at a tablet. I got a pernil with plantains and my companion got a churrasco. I also got their limited time St Paddy's day mocktail. It was kind of like a virgin apple mojito and it was really good and refreshing. The pernil was excellent as usual: well sauced and tender and juicy. The churrasco was beautifully cooked and seasoned. They always knock it out of the park here with their meats. The plantains were of course delicious as usual, and the service was great. My only comment is that I could've sworn that this place had Alfajores a few years ago. I could be wrong, but I vaguely recall them being delicious and I was sad to not see them on the menu this time. Any way you roll the dice, you won't regret coming to sofrito. They're quick, it's well priced, and the food has never disappointed me in my 7 years of going here.

So many of my friends have raved about this place and I finally decided to go and have an early dinner with my princess. She fell in love with all the yummy pastries and enjoyed a Colombian cheeseburger with fries and a juice . I ordered a spinach empanada , sancocho which came with rice and a tostones and a water. After we ate our dinner we decided to have a cafe con leche with coconut and caramel syrup made with oat milk and a few pastries . The staff especially Matthew ensured we were enjoying our order and showed me how to sign up for perks and let me know they just opened a location by UCF recently.
