I figured he was just not the person for me, but the 2nd guy seemed to want to help me... SO I THOUGHT. I asked him to call me the next day, to answer my questions, before I decided to go with them. It was late and he needed to call the company to find something out for me, regarding a discount. He NEVER called me. That was when I decided to take my 4 potential cars to get insured elsewhere. They need better training and better customer service. I definitely will NOT refer to any of the parents who have new drivers. I am a high school student mom, we all give each other referrals. This company will get a BIG NO WAY!! I won't say the men's name, I won't be that mean. Just take your Business elsewhere.

Their carrier erroneously deducted the premium for a full year. The initial comment was you'll have your money in 3-5 business days. 10 calls later I might have my money by midnight. As an insurance broker Jason could have stepped in or call me personally. I'm disappointed in his business ethics and certainly do not wish this nightmare on anyone else. Patricia and her team are by far the best insurance agency I have ever had. Patricia took the time…read moreto sit down with me to understand my unique insurance need. She then made a personalized recommendation of what protection I needed. With other insurance companies when I had a need to call in I would have to go through a maze of robot prompts to get me to an agent that had no idea who I was, I had no idea who they were, and only knew me as policy number XXX. When I call Patricia and her agents a real person from her office picks up right away and recognizes me when I call. Overall Patricia is the first insurance agent where I felt she was MY agent. An agent that wasn't looking for the companies interest, but looking out for my best interest. She'll even follow up and ensure I am getting the best price and best coverage for my individual need. I don't ever see myself going to any other agent.

This review is specifically for the Freeway Insurance location in Azusa, CA 91791…read more"I am posting this here to ensure it reaches regional management, as my attempts to resolve this at the local branch have been ignored. I initially had a good experience at this location, but the service quality has declined significantly, and the office now operates with the same lack of accountability found in any poor customer service environment. Following a vehicle accident, I requested a policy cancellation from my agent, Steve. He explicitly promised to handle it and get back to me, but instead, he completely ghosted me. His failure to act in a timely manner resulted in me being charged for weeks for an insurance policy on a vehicle I could no longer use, causing me significant financial strain. I attempted to reach management at this specific location to rectify the situation, but those efforts were fruitless. I was only able to get the issue resolved after being connected to a different agent, Luis Alfonso de Santiago, who handled the task flawlessly and immediately. While I appreciate Luis's professionalism, the lack of accountability from the rest of the team and management in Azusa is unacceptable. I am actively escalating this to higher-ups and will continue to do so until this matter--including the financial impact of Steve's negligence--is fully addressed.

Outstanding, Honest, and Seamless Medicare Guidance - Nina Szutu is the Best!…read more I first went to KCAL Insurance in mid-2025 to get my mom enrolled in Medicare, and Nina was our account manager. From day one, she was exceptionally professional and worked with incredible efficiency. What set her apart was her transparency--she clearly explained the essential pros and cons of several plans she recommended. She also helped print out the essentials of multiple insurance information for us to refer to later. We selected the plan that fit my mom's needs best, and it worked out flawlessly. When my mom's specific needs shifted in 2026, and my dad also reached the point of needing Medicare enrollment, my parents went right back to Nina. Once again, she made the entire process completely smooth and frictionless. Nina is upfront and honest about how different plans operate and how representatives work with providers, giving straightforward insights into the advantages and trade-offs of every option. If you or your family need expert, reliable, and stress-free help navigating Medicare, see Nina Szutu!
