Showed up on time as promised. Very quick to respond over text message for scheduling. We had two ceiling fans with wall controls installed and they did a great job. Cleaned up everything at the end, quick and efficient. read more

Matt was great. Resolved all my issues quickly (I had multiple outlets that stopped working, an outdoor outlet that was loose, and another outlet that wouldn't hold a plug) and with good explanations. He also communicated via text very clearly Thank you! read more

I wanted to share a phenomenal experience I had with Matt Larson from Larson Electric. I have found Matt to conduct business in a professional manner, easy to deal with and extremely accommodating. In addition, he offers very competitive pricing. I never look for the cheapest price. I always do business with somebody I feel like I can trust. That happens to be Matt. Make him your first choice for your electrical needs. He won't disappoint you. read more

Matt Larson and his son did an amazing job hanging two heavy chandeliers and installing recessed lighting in our home. They were very responsive and professional. When they completed the work, they also did a great job cleaning up. I highly recommend and will definitely use Larson Electric again for all my electrical needs. read more

Quick and friendly response. Matt will be the first call for future electric work. Thanks Matt!

Matt is awesome! He was very quick to respond and resolve my issue. Pricing is very fair and he has great customer service. Thanks Matt for awesome work! This is the electrician you want to use! read more

It's impossible to receive better service. Very knowledgeable and was giving advice as much as he was providing great service. I'd recommend Matt Larson to anyone looking to do any electrical work. My project consisted of replacing a fan, installing 6 new can lights, replacing 10, and working out an issue I was having with a GFI outlet. The guy can do it all. Imagine you're getting an oil change and the mechanic allows you to sit/stand and chat with them the whole time ready to answer any questions. That's what it's like to work with Matt. read more

Matt Larson provides excellent service. He is competent, friendly, and responsive to customers. Highly recommend!

Was a little late getting to the appointment but let me know in advance. Showed up and had it figured out in 20 minutes. Was done and out the door in 45. I'm a contractor and it would have taken me days (if not weeks) to figure out what the problem was. I can't speak highly enough of this outfit. I've said it before, when I find a good service provider I latch on to them. I will be contacting Larson Electric again for projects down the road. read more

I found this company off of yelp since I am new to the area and Matt from Larson Electric has earned all of his yelp stars. I emailed him with what felt like a big job to a new homeowner and he came out the very next day to bid. The work was scheduled and completed two days later. There was a lot of troubleshooting with my 80s something house and he figured everything out quickly and the end result is beautiful. Matt is an honest and upstanding guy who obviously takes great pride in his trade and reputation. Definitely recommended! Extremely fair and competitive prices read more

I contacted him about 7 months ago (Jan) due to all of the great reviews. He came out to look at my kitchen so he could give me a quote. After he left I waited and waited but never got the quote. I sent him a text and email in February asking for the quote and he said he was dealing with family issues. I wanted to give him some time to take care of all of that. I waited and sent him a text in March but never heard back from him. Had another company come out and they gave me a quote within 24 hours. I guess he doesn't need the business. read more

Larson Electric always provides excellent customer service and the highest quality work. Matt and Brayden are an outstanding team. Highly recommended! read more

I contacted Larson Electric and the owner Matt Larson came out the next day to look at our job at our Loomis home. We had a courtyard fountain installed and needed electricity run to the fountain pump. Matt came out and looked at the job and gave us an estimate and described the solution to us. We scheduled the work for 3 days later and he returned and did a super professional job! The work was so well done that it looked like it had been done when the house was originally built. I can highly recommend Matt for any of your electrical needs. read more

Really pleased with Larson Electric. Matt and his son showed up on time in order to rewire some lighting in my kitchen. They were done in a hour and did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I thought the price was reasonable too. I would use them again for any electrical issue. read more

I first called Matt to check out two things at our new house 1) To give an estimate for doing an electric dryer hookup (we had just moved our electric dryer up the stairs and everything to find out the house had gas hook-ups) 2) To give an estimate for running a 240V line out to our backyard for our hot tub. Matt did a great job of helping us look out for how to best spend our money. Regarding #1 he said he could do an electrical hookup, but if our dryer was already several years old we might want to consider replacing it, as the gas ones are far more efficient in terms of monthly cost. Regarding #2 he explained the various parts I might want to either perform myself or hire a specialist in that particular area to do (trenching, concrete removal). I ended up doing the trenching, concrete, and laying wire+conduit myself, so I had him do the last stretch of metal conduit (required a pipe bender, etc.) and the final hook-up to the house (getting inside the main breaker panel scares me). He was fully supportive of having me do the parts of work I felt comfortable with to help save money, and handling the parts I wasn't. After the fact he was also able to help me sanity-check when I wanted to add a 120V outdoor outlet to my new hot tub sub-panel that what I was thinking should work (and did). I would recommend Matt whether you're not interested in doing any electrical work yourself, or if you'd like to handle some work yourself while leaving certain parts to an expert. His pricing was reasonable for a professional electrician, and he was prompt with communications- note this is a one-man operation so he may be out on job sites when you send an email or call. In any case he was clear about when I could expect replies (e.g. with estimates) or to see him on-site. read more

This is the second time we've had Matt come out. The first was a year or more ago and I kept his number because I knew we'd want him back the next time we needed an electrician. This time he moved an outlet and installed four new exterior lights. He's fast, and reasonably priced. We had great communication by text so I knew exactly when to expect him, and what the cost would be. Recommend him highly! read more

Matt responded with minutes of my request for a quote, arrived within two hours as discussed and had the problem fixed shortly after. Professional, courteous and followed through with quoted price. I'll call Matt next time we need an electrician! read more

Matt did a great job taking care of my under cabinet lighting switches and dimmer. This job was a little too difficult for me to figure out, especially since I had three switches controlling the same circuit and they required three and four way switches, but Matt figured it out right away. Matt is worth the wait! We had recessed lighting installed in two of our bedrooms, a ceiling fan installed, and a new doorbell and transformer installed this year. All work perfectly and I was even shown how to use the transformer to change the light settings. Matt is very responsive over the phone and especially via text. Both him and his son are extremely knowledgeable and answered all my "can you you walk me through this and explain what you're doing questions." They also cleaned up after themselves, the bedrooms were cleaner when they left! His prices are fair, I got three quotes before scheduling work with him. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and the entire process, will be calling on Matt for future electric work. read more

Matt was professional and helpful with the different projects I had at our house. I would recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.

Matt and his team were clear, direct, affordable, and did a great job. I can't recommend Larson Electric enough. As a homeowner for over 50 years, I recognize excellence in service when I experience it. From my initial call to Matt and throughout our several interactions to date, Matt has been responsive, fair, on time, and consistently dependable. His knowledge and skills in his trade seem extensive, and his work has to date been flawless. Equally important (perhaps most) are Matt's communication/customer service skills. This is the reason we went with Matt in the beginning and why we intend to continue our relationship with Matt and Larson Electric in the future. read more

Found Larson Electric on Yelp and after reading such great reviews I gave him a call. I had several ballasts out in my kitchen that needed repair. He was able to give me a very reasonable estimate over the phone to switch all lights out to LED. I was able to get something scheduled quickly for him to come out and do the work. Matt is very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. He worked quickly and made sure everything was cleaned up perfectly prior to leaving my home. I messaged Matt from Yelp. We needed 3 fans installed and 2 canned lights replaced. He was able to finish all of them in a professional manner. Matt's prices cant be beat he does a great job and is by far cheaper then anyone out there. I was so thankful when he was able to fix a patch in the ceiling because the last contractor didn't even use the right electrical box to mount the ceiling light. Instead they just drilled right into the drywall. On top of that they left a huge hole which he patched up and fixed. He didn't even charge me for the repair, super impressed with the professional and friendly service. I recommend him for any job and he deserves the praise. Thank you for the great superior service will definitely keep you in mind and recommend to friends. read more

Called Matt the owner of Larson Electric for problem with my home electrical system with brief, intermittent outages to parts of my home. Called when he was on his way and arrived on time. After spending 45-55 minutes on a hot day, could not find any problems with my electrical. He was very thorough and checked every connection. He suggested I call PG&E to verify proper incoming current to my home and wrote down everything to tell PG&E. All of this with NO CHARGE TO ME, said it was diagnostic and let him know if it happens again to call right away. Matt was professional, thorough and meticulous to troubleshoot my problem. Thanks again, Matt, you're awesome! read more

Needed a light installed and I didn't want to deal with it so I messaged a bunch of people through yelp and he responded quickly and was by far the cheapest people wanted like $60 to $130 dollars more than what he wanted and he came by on short notice I'll definitely keep him in mind for something else in the future. read more

Our garage ceiling light became unhooked and fell onto our cars. Customer service is key to any business. I just was the beneficiary of STELLAR customer service from Matt - I hope this review will help "repay" him. A quick summary... Another contractor had repaired a gas fireplace for me. The fireplace worked, but in doing so, he caused a short that tripped a circuit breaker. Worse yet, that breaker was tied to my kitchen lights, so I had no lighting in my kitchen. And I couldn't reset the breaker for some reason. The fireplace repair person is not an electrician and couldn't "guess" on the phone as to why the breaker tripped and wouldn't rest. In a panic, facing the holidays with no kitchen lights, I called Matt. On the phone, Matt was able to troubleshoot the issue and pretty much nailed exactly what was happening. By cutting the power to the fireplace, I was able to re-set the circuit breaker and I now have kitchen lights, and I pretty much know exactly what is happening with the fireplace (two wires touching causing a continuous short). Bottom line: Matt called me within a couple of hourse, spent 10 minutes helping me, and did this for zero dollars. He WILL get my future electrical business, but I also hope my Yelp review contributes to others sending business his way as well. THANK YOU MATT. read more

I'm reasonably competent at diagnosing and fixing simple electrical problems, but this one had me completely out of ideas. Matt arrived exactly on time and found the problem in the first ten minutes---a semi-hidden GFCI receptacle that I had forgotten even existed--in the garage, no less!! He could barely see it yet he knew to look for it based on his many years of experience. I had imagined hours of searching and even re-wiring to restore power to my bathrooms. His experience is priceless. His repair charge was more than reasonable. Thank you, Matt--you have a customer for life. read more
