I know some parents might not like the amount for the five classes but I would advise all future participants and parents to understand that all training, classes, and or other coaching is an investment. My daughter was excited to learn more and if nothing more my daughter strengthened her confidence and excitement for this acting/modeling journey. I appreciate Ms.TJ and Ms. Britney for their patience and dedication to helping my daughter exceed. I recommend this to all parents who would like to help prepare their child/ren for this industry.

It doesn't mention anything about a school, nor when we get a call back to schedule the appointment for the audition is anything mentioned about a school. I was also told the audition would be held at Sony studios (it's actually at a hotel) This was for my daughter, and she was so disappointed your ad is deceptive to all kids that hear it. Shame on you. Updated review: The beauty of yelp. I can post how I feel and you can defend yourself. However what happened happened lady. I'm not alone on this either, others have messaged through yelp asking me if the audition is truly for a school. So , there. You're business might be good which is awesome but the radio ad IS misleading and that's that.

*Client Perspective*…read more I do not recommend this place for paid services (face) as you can get the same value by going to a professional electrologist and have the confidence that they are doing it correctly and quickly. My issue is not with the electrologists as they are learning, but with the business not being fair in how they charge for services. Professionals only charge for hair removal time, but here the owner is including check-in, setup, and catapherisis (at the end) time which is usually 20-25 min. For an hour appt today, I had 35 minutes of actual treatment. On a prior visit, I had 5 minutes of hair removal for an hour session because the "senior" technician had not worked on the chin and could not remove the hair despite poking me dozens of times with the needle/probe. I brought these issues to the owner's attention because it is unethical how they are charging customers and not being transparent. Instead of using this feedback to improve business practices, she suggested I find another place. If the owner wants customers to be altruistic by giving students practice, then she should not be charging for any services since it is already benefiting her for-profit school and students. I am barely clearing my chin out in 8 sessions, as students remove approx. 40-50 hairs per hour compared to over 200 hairs by professionals. The value for your money and time is the same as going to a professional. I have found several electrologists in the area that are $90 per hour. The $20 per hour will cost the same in the long-run if the professional is removing 4x the rate as a student and more experienced to provide permanent results.

My son (26) became a CW after completing college and hating the job he got after graduating. I am proud of him and how excited he is about the future. They provide a job search service and get the student prepared for the work force. Luke and his team are incredibly professional instructors who are truly dedicated to bringing out the best in each student. Ladies, if you're feeling a bit intimidated or worried that you'll be treated differently, don't be. The only thing you really need to survive AFA is a sense of humor (that goes for the guys too) I remember sitting in college, debating whether it was the right path for me or if I should take the leap and pursue a trade. I'm beyond glad I did. I have absolutely no regrets about attending AFA. Ralph, Ronnie, Doc, and Kyle not only taught me during my time there, but they continue to teach and support me even after graduation. Whether I need extra practice or advice, before an interview or for a weld test their doors are always open. Luke, Robert, Marcio, and Gus have also been incredibly supportive and instrumental in helping me grow in my welding career. Never in a million years did I think I'd find myself in aerospace, but here I am and I couldn't have done it without the amazing team at AFA. And of course, shoutout to the wonderful ladies in the office, they are always a delight to talk to and often the highlight of my day. Whatever I needed, they were there to help. P.S. Sorry it took me so long to leave a review... I've been busy working at the jobs you guys helped me get!

There's creative energy all about. I look forward to going each week and seeing what projects the other students are up to or chatting with him. He's not only a great instructor but also so easy and friendly to talk to! Dennis' enthusiasm for woodworking and old tools will quickly rub off on you. It's a great balance between a structured class curriculum and freedom to customize your projects. I've since discovered that going to the lumber yard and choosing woods feels a little like being a kid in a candy store. It's so much fun to do something hands on and design / build your own furniture. I highly recommend the Wood Work Shop to anyone looking up to pick up woodworking.
