At first looked like they were very competent, except waiting…read moreto resolve a major issue - they didn't do the primary repair that was "required" on the report which was the main reason I brought it in my BMW. How does that happen! Hopefully, the owner will acknowledge their mistake and resolve it.....after spending almost $5,000 there this month! The owner, Robbie, worked with us and we were able to come to an agreement. BMW being fixed today, and Robbie was very apologetic and takes his family owned business very seriously. Happy we were able to fix the communication problems and I plan on continue using their services. I recommend supporting locally owned businesses in our community and I hope to be a returning customer for the next several years to come. Hard to find trustworthy auto repair shops. I appreciate and respect Robbie's willingness to resolve the communication issue.

I first called to ask for a quote for a specific repair job for a specific car. They would not provide a quote over the phone as a couple of other shops did. They insisted I bring the car in for diagnosis, so at the appointed time I showed up with the car. After three hours of waiting, they provided a quote for the service I asked for that was ~50% higher than the next closest quote. They also did a 'courtesy inspection' which I did not ask for. This inspection resulted in 7 additional recommended items totaling about $1,800. Things like this fluid change, that cleaning, etc. The car has 300k miles on it, and the majority of these items have never been done. The experience reminds me of the slick marketing we get at the dealership repair shops, and is exactly what I was hoping to avoid by choosing a 'family-owned' shop. The actual work product may in fact be excellent; I don't know. But it is probably over priced.

Back in August of 2025, I purchased a tire and had it mounted there. Not long after the tire was put on my car started making up minor thumping noise which sounded like I had a bubble in my tire, best way I could explain it, so I knew I needed two new tires but also knew there had to be something wrong with one of them for it to sound that way and the noise had gotten scary loud and I didn't want to drive over 55. As the tech was putting on the two tires Saturday, he informed me that the last tire they put on was a directional tire and they put it on backwards. I did not even know about directional tires and relied on this business to do the proper work that I have paid them to do. Through my research I found that the tread would have worn down much faster and there could've possibly been suspension damage to my car and I felt that they should replace the tire. Some guy I had never seen there before came out to inspect the tire and he rubbed his hand over the top of my tire with it still on my car and said nothing was wrong with it and that they did the right thing by turning the tire the right way, but I had been driving it the wrong way since August and I requested that they replace the tire and I was told to get off of the property and that they were gonna call the sheriff and have me trespassed. I in no way said or did anything that would merit this reaction. I simply ask in a nice way that they should replace the tire, especially after the owner admitted on the phone that one of her "dumb technicians" put it on the wrong way! They are good until you call them out on their negligence and then you are threatened with the police! WILL NEVER RETURN BUT WILL BE INFORMING EVERYONE AND ANYONE TO BE AWARE OF THIS BUSINESS PATHETIC AND DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Replacing the $80 tire would have been the cheapest solution for this dump!!!

While looking at it, Stephanie offered to get the body guy (Larry from TLM Auto Repair next door) to look at my front passenger door which hasn't opened since my car was hit a few years ago. Larry came over, fixed the passenger door in 20 seconds, and wouldn't let me pay him ("It only took a minute..."). Unbelievable. Then the mechanic from Knucklebusters took my car for a spin, and checked all the things that have to do with steering, and found nothing wrong. He also didn't charge me ("I didn't find anything to fix..."). When was the last time I walked out of an auto repair place paying nothing? (I'll give you a hint, it's never...). These people are honest and seem to really enjoy helping people. I think if you have had bad experiences at other places, you should come here and enjoy being helped by this shop. So happy that they are in my city, but I would drive to get to them. If I did have something serious wrong with my car, I think they would be honest and affordable.
