How does that happen! Hopefully, the owner will acknowledge their mistake and resolve it.....after spending almost $5,000 there this month! The owner, Robbie, worked with us and we were able to come to an agreement. BMW being fixed today, and Robbie was very apologetic and takes his family owned business very seriously. Happy we were able to fix the communication problems and I plan on continue using their services. I recommend supporting locally owned businesses in our community and I hope to be a returning customer for the next several years to come. Hard to find trustworthy auto repair shops. I appreciate and respect Robbie's willingness to resolve the communication issue.

I first called to ask for a quote for a specific repair job for a specific car. They would not provide a quote over the phone as a couple of other shops did. They insisted I bring the car in for diagnosis, so at the appointed time I showed up with the car. After three hours of waiting, they provided a quote for the service I asked for that was ~50% higher than the next closest quote. They also did a 'courtesy inspection' which I did not ask for. This inspection resulted in 7 additional recommended items totaling about $1,800. Things like this fluid change, that cleaning, etc. The car has 300k miles on it, and the majority of these items have never been done. The experience reminds me of the slick marketing we get at the dealership repair shops, and is exactly what I was hoping to avoid by choosing a 'family-owned' shop. The actual work product may in fact be excellent; I don't know. But it is probably over priced.

The Strickland Brothers techs on that day attempted to perform an oil change on my wife's vehicle but couldn't because the drain plug had supposedly been tightened by our regular mechanic, and, erring on the side of caution, it was recommended that we return to him to loosen the plug. The crew continued to perform a few courtesy checks while other team members tried to remove the drain plug. The main tech checked the air filter, which was noticeably dirty and in need of a replacement, which my wife agreed to replace, and a new filter was promptly installed. Unfortunately,  this is where that visit ends. The oil change couldn't be done, BUT the head tech waived the filter part and labor, and advised that we return to our regular mechanic and be sure to inform our mechanic that the air filter was changed. The next day, I had our mechanic do the oil change. I never mentioned the new air filter, but later, HE stated that the air filter needed to be replaced. Needless to say, I was infuriated. I paid for the oil change, nothing more. Fast forward to now, and I'm 2000 miles over my recommended oil change. I decided to go to Strickland Brothers to get my work done. These guys were BUSY. I was the fourth car in line. Apparently, several staff members were out of town for a business meeting. Turns out there were two gentlemen left to work on each car together. It was maybe a 45-minute wait, which I was OK with, considering the ratio of work to workers and the work involved. Upon driving into the bay, I was instantly greeted with a smile, albeit a tired one. I could detect the nervousness in keeping someone waiting, but I had nowhere else to be. I made small talk while my car stats were taken, and the younger of the two techs drained the oil. The oil change was, indeed, done in no time, flat. The work was thoroughly and properly completed. Now keep in mind, that this is not a place to go to get your tires rotated, which kinda sucks, but for those on the go in need of an oil change pronto, this place is perfection. Your fluids might not get topped off, either, as it may be dangerous to open the gaskets while the vehicle is hot (as opposed to sitting off for at least an hour) which I never even considered until I asked about it during my visit. All in all, it is a fine establishment that does the job and by knowledgeable and friendly technicians. Thanks, guys. See you in another 10,000 miles.

Daughter went and got her oil change and they drained the transmission fluid instead of oil. Then…read morethey proceeded to add 5 more quarts of oil thinking they emptied the oil. That's right, she left with 10 quarts oil and no transmission fluid. I been trying to get them to pay back in full and costs for everything my daughter and I have went through. Run around after run around. First they were going to use their insurance to pay. Then they went back to the headquarters to taking care of it. There agreement was so messed up I could sign it. Had to get a lawyer to write an amendment to their agreement. They then would sign it. Now they went back to the insurance and they are giving me the run around. I have a bad transmission I have to replace and possible engine when they can throughly check the engine after putting in transmission. So far out almost $10,000 in cost and damage to car. Double the time they quote you and just enjoy having a look around or bring something to do. That's it. No complaints. It's not stellar service, but it is a good value, which, in the end, is the reason anyone goes to Walmart. Recommended. I'm giving them another star because they should average around three stars. It's just the middle of the barrel kind of place, which is what it's supposed to be. Oil change was the cheapest around.

These people are honest and are not trying to squeeze you for every penny! I took my car in to replace a lug nut on all 4 tires that I had lost the key to. They gave me a very fair price UP FRONT, and then that's what I paid when the job was done. Staff is very pleasant every time I've stopped by. I went in for a nail in my tire and they called to tell me that the tire was actually bald and they couldn't fix it. They didn't charge me and also the tire was definitely bald and I just hadn't noticed. I will continue to bring my business to this Midas!

I described to the technicians what I was experiencing and they seemed to know right away what the issue was from my description. I made an appointment the following week dropped the RV at 8 AM and by 3:30. They had diagnosed the issue with the AC and had completed the fix and had totally gone over the air conditioning system which needed a recharge. They did an oil change and recharged the AC system, checked all the fluids belts hoses and checked the tire pressures. The bill was very reasonable and the AC is working great and my RV is ready for a trip. All the gentlemen that I speak with are very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.
